  1. There have been reports that you need to go full afterburner for the launch to proceed. Try that. Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  2. I'm running i5-6600K CPU, 32GB DDR4 ram, DCS and saves on SSD, 3060 12GB, 2D TrackIR 5 on a 1080P 22" monitor. MT is unplayable no matter what settings I try (DLAA, DLSS, SSS on or off, CPU unparked etc.). When I run ST back on MSAA x4, all smooth again. Such a drastic difference. 3. I've had the same symptoms on a 3060 gpu. I'm running i5-6600k and dedicated DCS SSD. Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  4. I have the same issue too. Even going back to MSAA (which used to be smooth) has unplayable stuttering. I'll post a log and track in discord when I get back home. Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  5. Haha, we still have the "Australia tax" on everything though because we are the "lucky country". Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  6. Many thanks for the info. With heavier loads or shorter runways, will it still be beneficial to use the supercharger for take-off (even with water injection too), or is it a cost/benefit ratio thing? Does the supercharger take too much HP out of the engine for take-offs? Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  7. Fantastic work, Minsky, many thanks. I've a quick question. Can day and night kneeboards be selected by time of day in DCS? ie If it is a night mission, only night kneeboards will display etc. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  8. You can change it in all missions to cold and dark in the Mission Editor [emoji106] Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  9. There's nothing more satisfying than pounding a light armoured vehicle with those 8 x 50 calibres. I find the jug very stable for stafing. I still can't dive bomb accurately yet, but I'm getting there. It's definitely worth the buy, especially at 50% off sale. You'll get many hours of enjoyment out of it. Cheers! 10. I pull the control column back full, then zoom the view in on the compass to operate it when on the ground. Gets me pretty close to actual mag heading to set the DI gyro. In the air, I look through the control column as best as I can in straight and level flight. Again, close enough is good enough in this situation. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  11. The "\" menu can only be considered an intercom or "talking" to the ground crew when on the ground. Several updates ago, the keybinds were changed to include VOIP buttons for HOTAS binds. So, to use your radio (or comm 1), try "RALT \" and ensure you are on the correct frequency. Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  12. Yes, I encountered this the other day. All air gauges froze, so I was thinking maybe a static vent froze. To clear it and get the gauges back, you have to descend into warmer air. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  13. Yep, that sounds about right for me too. Laser accurate gunners. Even trying to do Boom & Zoom, I can never get the geometry correct and I end up a sitting duck on their six [emoji1787] Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  14. I did it the other day, and I followed my aircraft ok for over 30 mins. The track seemed to hold together. The only thing I'm unsure of is if you see players spawn in or out. I was on the server by myself, so I couldn't confirm. Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  15. You can change the track file (from your Saved Games/Tracks/Multiplayer) into a mission file by changing the .trk extension to .miz , then open it in mission editor. Change mission settings to allow views, then save. Change .miz back to .trk, then watch the track with external views. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  16. [emoji1787], understandable, it is a great programme though. Well, this new .zip has installed correctly and is working. Thanks again. Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  17. Yes, I unistalled the old one using control panel "Remove Program", then deleted any related files and folders left behind. Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  18. Hi Miguel, Many thanks for the new update to DCE_manager. I tried to run the set-up, but the installation stops, giving the attached error log. Cheers! DCE_Error_lo.txt Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  19. You may have still been in a missile A-A mode when you switched to A-G mode. IIRC, if any missiles were selected, then you changed to A-G mode, the bomb ASL would not show up. It could be a similar issue. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  20. Thanks for the I info, Akula. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  21. Hey Folks! I noticed that when the right hardpoint is powered on, the TGP sensor head does not stow even when in STBY. Is this correct behaviour? I would have thought that after using the TGP, selecting STBY would cause the sensor head to stow for protection. Do I need to select something else? Many thanks! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  22. If you're talking about A-4E on YT, they were using a lua script to make the napalm look realistic. The stock version of DCS does not have specific napalm graphics. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  23. Ahhh... ok, many thanks for the clarification. I find turning off the auto flaps causes very early buffeting and speed loss anyway, as the wings become very sensitive to AoA. A partial auto deployment of LEFs and flaps seems to cushion this a bit. I'll try a bit with auto off. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  24. However, isn't this the technology that led to current F-18 F-16 and onwards flight control systems? Why wouldn't you use it? As long as you stay fairly fast in the F-5, the LEFs and flaps won't schedule to deploy. I believe the system was designed to protect the very high loading (physically small) wings from early stall. 25. You also have to comply with the final attack headings that the JTAC gives you in the 9-line. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
