  1. Hey sleighzy, That link did not work for me. It said the page does not exist. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  2. [emoji1787] FFS, could this be made easier please? I don't know where to start, except I have downloaded the latest dlss dll from techpowerup and replaced the ED one in /mt-bin/ Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  3. When you say you "cut the throttle", do you mean you go idle? That probably won't engage ATC. You should be configured for landing and on-speed, then engage. The ATC needs a reference point to adjust for. Possibly try that to rule it out. Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  4. The first number is your expected fuel state when you reach that point. The second number is more for arriving at a TACAN (or Carrier TACAN) on the normal descent (Navy operations) to get you to six thousand feet (the usual first holding altitude in Case III operations). For example, if that number was 25, you would idle the engines, then nose over to 10° descent when you reached 25 miles from the TACAN (or Carrier TACAN). Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  5. Did you salute to start the process? The "brown shirt" should walk out and wait for you to start engines and be ready to taxi. When ready, you salute again, and he will hand you over to a "yellow shirt" to give you taxi guidance. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk

    18th FIS?

@Mach3DS Beautiful work mate, absolutely stunning. Many thanks for making these available. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  7. It may be to "earth" the contact so there is no build-up of static electricity, which would be disastrous. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  8. You have to press the NWS pinky button on the HOTAS stick to reset the refuelling door to "Ready". You just need to press it once only, everytime there is a disconnect. You don't need to close and re-open the door. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  9. Well, it worked. I don't know why it didn't work in the mission, but I was able to bomb on coordinates on a quick made test mission. I'm glad I learnt how to do this in the A-10 as it is handy in cloud covered targets. Many thanks for the help. Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  10. I'll give it a go tomorrow at some stage. Many thanks Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  11. Ok, thanks for the reply @Yurgon Weapon status was definitely fully green and "RDY". So if I understand your explanation correctly, if the JTAC gives you a coordinate, which you then make into a steerpoint, STPT is shown in the HUD as SPI generator, I should be able to release a GBU-31 CCRP without seeing it (through clouds) and with no other sensor input. I did try this several times, holding the pickle button for several seconds with no release. I'll try again, maybe without clouds to get visual. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  12. G'day @Sedlo , I just did this mission and thoroughly enjoyed it. It has fantastic immersion with great voice-overs. Well done to all involved. I was tasked with destroying the building with a GBU-31 (penetrator) with a delayed fuze. To ensure correct fuze settings, I went into the preflight editor and chose a fuze with a delayed action. Earbud gave me all of the information and coordinates for the structure, plus the instruction to bomb through the clouds. This seemed quite the challenge for the Hog, as I'm not sure there is a way to load the coordinates directly into the bomb (I'm happy to be educated) without using SPI from the TGP, HUD etc (requiring a TMS up long to send the coordinates). Even when I had STPT as the SPI (indicated in the HUD), the final action to send the coordinates to the bomb was unable to be performed as the only two SOI available was TAD and HUD. I flew in from the east on a CCRP profile, but the bomb would not drop after holding pickle for a few seconds. I then tried again on another session. I dropped beneath the clouds, used the TGP to refine the coordinates, TMS up long to send these to the bomb, then climbed above the clouds to complete a successful CCRP release, to devastate said building. I just wanted to let you know, as it seems this mission was ported over from the F-16 mission, where I believe you can punch the coordinates directly into the GBU-31 (as a PP). As I said, I'd be happy to be educated if the Hog can do the same. Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  13. Hhhmmm, maybe check your keybinds. I used to experience this, and then I deleted my whole input file for all of my aircraft in an attempt to fix other problems. This meant a total rebinding or all aircraft inputs. I have since flown the A-10CII several times on both Syria and Sinai maps and have not seen this issue again. The aircraft has been stable all the way to touchdown. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  14. I'm running a 3060 and use DLAA as the best image compromise (I have i5-6600K, 64GB ram). Even if I use the latest DLSS, it introduces far worse ghosting and poor cockpit instrument images. This running on 1080p, TrackIR5. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  15. Hey mate, it is just a normal mission. Place it in your ..../"User name"/Saved Games/DCS/Missions folder. Then in DCS, it will show when selecting Missions and My Missions. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  16. You'll need a login to github. Once logged in, use the latest beta link in the official Retribution Discord, it should be at the bottom of the page under artefacts as a .zip file. Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  17. Thanks Starfire, I managed to download and install the latest beta. All good now. I appreciate the help. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  18. I had downloaded the latest public release 1.3.1 from 17th March 2024. Should I go for a public beta release? Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  19. G'day Folks, I just started having a play with Retribution a couple of days ago. Wow! It is very detailed and flexible. Well done to the devs. However, I could not see the Pretense Generator button on the GUI. I believe I have the latest version, and I created a mission and saved (retribution.nextturn) after pressing Take Off. Many thanks. Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  20. Oh, many thanks. That's a great tip with the TMS-right short. I was hoping there was a HOTAS command to get there quickly. Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  21. Classic save [emoji1787] Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  22. Thanks folks for this discussion. I didn't realise that was a delta elevation either as Wags' video eludes that it is a target elevation. Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  23. Oh, ok. So is using offset aimpoints as given by JTAC fairly redundant in the F-16? Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  24. Ok, I'll give it a try. Many thanks. Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  25. Ok, I was thinking that was the case. So once I have gone over the IP (Steerpoint 3 in my example), with HUD as SOI, I press TMS up. If I'm not using a PUP, what is the switchology to make the TGP snap to this new point (SPI) so I can get eyes on the target? Cheers! Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
