low angle low drag deliviers are possible with the hog and i employ sometimes , tho due to the slow approach speed and escape speed i never use them a lot when i drop in anger. Diving bombing is a good way to get the bomb on tgt. And the more speeds the better it hits your target. Also setting TOF and minimal alitude helps in getting the bomb on target. Bascially if you want a good dive look at the target and when it drops below your nose wait 1-2 seconds, then tip in go inverted , pull nose to target, roll and voila drop bomb in less then 10 seconds. if you take longer then the AAA has a nice target for them self. Also when in anger dont be afraid to drop dumb bomb in ripple 2. Rather have 2 boms on a tank and have the tank destroyed then do two passes and put your aircraft in extra danger Insert comment here from my weapon officer Eddie to explain to whole more detail =)

silly question .... x52 or warthog .... ofc warthog ... just the feel of the stick says enough. I bought the warthog online but after using it for a few months i saw a X52 Pro in a store i touched that and i was like WTF so light and flimsy.

Remove the old standalone A-10C and install World. their two separete installs anyway. When the 1.2.2 files are installed the game auto-update will work . You can when you like remove 1.1.1.1 Ahhh sniped =)

Yeah i disabled that power save thing in mine laptop too bit pointless if you have an high end 5kg laptop if you ask me =) Glad it is solved but keep that temp low as DCS does pull a lot of the gpu/cpu i found out

RWR doesnt cover like miles ... so quite possible an SA-10 launch it will never catch it. Tho you should get the radar warnings given a nice indication to look out the window and scan for smoke trails

Well according to notebookcheck the GT555 is an mid range card same as my old 5850 mobile ATI card. Which can run DCS on high-medium settings but prolly not as good as my current notebook (MX17 Alienware gen 3). So not that very high end sorry to say. it is a 3 year old notebook. Anyways what i experienced is that while running DCS my auto lock for temp kicks in rather fast giving me FPS shuttering. So it could be that temps are in effect. And dont say yeah well other high graphic demanding games dont act like this. Yes i know but they do it rather non-seeing it. So get a laptop cooler pad (really works wonders btw)

I also noticed this but when i loaded the sim , disconnect from server and go back in the load time is almost instant. My guess is that it really is loading a lot in the memory and it depends on your HDD setting how long this takes. Mine is a radi system in a laptop and yeah it takes around 5 min too load

relay delay is pretty low at 2.13 .. actually this is a very very good shield ... or the creatures at lvl 50 are very very hard lol. Currently at lvl 21-22 here and loving the guns

Nah the P-51D is a WWII fighter escort the A-10C is perfectly tuned CAS plane with a TGP (camera with BIGGGG zoom) and designed to huge the ground and deliver 30mm rounds on a poor little tank

Hmmm getting my wing shot off by a BMP, got it stable , flew 50 miles towards closest friendly airport then hydrolics gave away forgot which button/switch to flip (it is a real big one btw hard to miss but oh well) and then crashing 2 miles infront of the runway ... just another day at the DS of the 476th =)

Honestly dont let us decided what you should fly its your time not ours and you have to fly what you find fun. I like KA-50 and A-10C and also the P-51D but if one should asks which aircraft do i prefer to learn, go indepth in tactics etc i would say A-10C at this moment because there is more info avaible about the A-10C then the KA-50 plus I find the KA-50 that is modeled flawed in good defense system and optics. (love the autpilot). So that said .. if you want to see how a plane should fly try reading books about it. For the A-10C there are plenty books like A-10 in the gulf , kosovo.

Well no. A lot of squads run there own servers (private) and due to a bug a lot dont show in the server lists. Also due to TARS a few squads still run 1.1.1.1 . Not many ppl are interesed in flying a non-coordinated air quake and want a bit more indepth gameplay (thats why we sim and not play HAWX or so) The community is pretty nice and hopefully it will grow a bit more with all the modules around.

mweh this is just a marketing atricle. All major game developers or producers are converting to free to play (limited tho) free to download games where you can pay for DLC to improve or to progress further (aka mini transactions) dont be surprised in a few years that CD/DVD are out and you can only download games. Pretty good from my P.O.V. Thankfully simulator games work different and many ppl that are commited to really flying a sim buy everything because well buying a stick of 400 euro/ pedals 100 euro , seat 400 euros and gaming righ 1700 euro and then to pirate that 40 USD ... wellllllll

looking good and it will be fun to fly this because it has a similair role as the a-10 but it is faster only no gun but would be nice to see the thrust vectoring and carrier ops. Keep up the good work

There could me many reasons why it didnt blow up. Maybe the wind was in the different directions and the scrapnel blew the other way, maybe the truck was hits but not to the extended of blowing up. Or maybe it is a bug. Only one way to see what is what by repeating the mission and see it the "bug" appears again. BTW GBU-38 where drop danger close even in real life 25 meters of allied infantry . Why not apache or cobra or tyhoon or fa-18 ..... reason we dont know . Probaly the got a license to make a sim for ka-50 and the Mi-28 is more classified. Btw the ka-50 model is a old model with no flir. I heard new one doe have better optics but classified so no sim
