Some ideas: +1 for removing squadron slots. - Don't see why some squadrons should have reserved slots. Especially while they don't use it. Refueling problem - Allow refueling with planes that can carry traveling pods (A-10 and Su-25). And/or place farps closer to the airports so heli pilot refueling tasks will not be so time consuming and boring. Crashing server on startup - There was problem with many server crashes after server startup while many users are connecting at the same time. Maybe this issue could be addressed programmatically by regulating the number of the available connections. For instance: First minute after start - no connections, Second minute 10 connections, ... Screenshots are producing warping and lag - There was events when some of the players abuse screenshot feature to intentionally make problems with lag, warping and maybe crashing the server. It would be great that script could detect more than x screenshots/minute and ban that player. Recommended network setting - Forbid connection to the player that didn't setup autoexec.cfg file properly, like it is advised on the front page of the Blue Flag Operations. This could contribute to the stability and performance. Memory leaks - Add more RAM to the server, since you can't fix DCS memory leaks. This should give us more time before memory leak spends all RAM and eventually crash the server.

Thank you Greg, It was really great experience participating Blue Flag Operations. I'm surprised with number of the unique players. I gain impression that the number is not as big as you calculated. It would be great if you can give us Tacview records and more detailed report like Player name, Score, Kills, Deaths. Thank you,

Some ideas: 1) Refueling problem. Maybe it will be good to add some number of AI choppers that will do refueling runs? So there will be less need for chopper pilots. I tried few times and it is really boring. 2) Maybe little larger amount of preloaded amount of fuel could be convinient. Refueling Su-27 takes pretty long time to wait. Maybe 5 instead of 2 for Su27. 3) I would really love to see Tacview records in the end. 4) Also are you going to calculate score for every player? It would be cool. Press Shift-Tab and write side you want to join (RED or BLUE) in chat window. When you click the slot, if you are rejected, the reason will be written in chat history. (Tab key)

Submarines are certainly a factor on battlefield. DCS is not only flying sim. The idea is to simulate all what armed conflict includes. Therefore we already have Combined Arms module. Would be cool to have submarines. At least AI. And planes/weapons to hunt submarines. Hence, I've voted: Yes!

DCS won't start at all. I didn't see splash screen. In Task manager there was DCS.exe running. After killing DCS process tree I've seen that three L39C_protect.exe processes are still hanging. so, I moved L39C folder out of the DCS folder structure. It helps. I suppose there is a problem in L39C protection. the other guy said that he has Avast and he succeed to start DCS after he turns off antivirus. So, my guess is that Avast designates L39C_protection.exe as a threat.

I'm also using Avast. Here are my logs in attachment. Hope it helps.

I've also reported this in the other thread. Try to temporary disable your antivirus. I'm using Avast and experienced this issue too. I've seen one more person with this issue using Avast antivirus. I've solved this by moving L39C folder out of DCS. For me restart works in order to unlock folder.

After last update DCS won't start. There was DCS prosess started but application window didn't show. I've killed DCS process tree but there was three L39C_protect.exe processes left which I can not kill in task manager. After I moved L39C module folder out of the DCS folder structure, everything runs normally.

Well I've grabbed one on recent bonus event also. I found one thread where one guy was questioning flight model. I don't know how it performs in a real life but this dcs model is really joy to fly.

This is really small wish but big pain in the ass :). Every time I'm setting up controls for new plane, there are many default bindings I would like to reset. Currently I have to select one by one and click 'Clear' button for each. It would be great to enable selecting more bindings at once and enable resetting them all by clicking on 'Clear' button. For instance, I'm using TrackIR and DCS make default bindings on every controller for view controls (Stick, Throttle, Rudder). I must to clear them all in order to have proper setup. Clicking one by one is really tedious.

Uh bad luck. If you bought everything from the store, seller doesn't have anything to reward your loyalty... maybe they can produce some t-shirts with DCS, ED logo for guys like you. Bonus system and sales discounts, are not mainly intended for us who are already addicted and have most or everything from ED store, but rather for new junkies :). I think that would be fair to allow buyer to spend bonus in the store without any limitations. Eventual shortage of that could be compensated by lowering regular sales discounts.

I've also spent my $21 bonus on L39. I think that bonus system is good, but my opinion is that pricing equation should be: current price - bonus <= discounted price on sale In that way people would be motivated to use their bonuses and buy modules right away. If discounted price on sale is lower than 'full price - bonus' than bonus system does not have sense because everybody will wait for sale. Moreover I think that buyer with bonus deserves bigger discount than sales discount because bonus is earned. In that manner, I would lower discount rates on sale and cancel limits on using bonuses.

Agree! I wrote similar in one of my previous posts. I mean $10-15 for A-10C is like gift. We are not big market. Guys from ED must eat something beside peanuts if we want our hobby live.
