I bought A-10C for full price on 13-06-2011. Little too late for free map but I'm not sorry at all. This is still good deal. Nevada map, two free campaigns, $10 bonus (which I will use BTW), and supporting ED to keep DCS alive. This will be nice winter thanks to you, ED!

Hehe, I have trouble to hear alarm in the morning because I love to stay awake late in the evening flying DCS or repairing my RC planes... so, sometimes I need nightmare to wake me up. This alarm could help.

Well, I hope at some point DCSW objects will get temperatures too. Then, I don't see any obstacles to implement real locking algorithm. Maybe new graphic engine will bring better IR handling.

I hope that in future DCS versions we will get real locking algorithms which are just fed with simulated input. Maybe ED can get permission to embed some older versions of real locking algorithms similarly he gets for other airplane systems.

Hi, I'm sorry if this is not right place for questions about missions, but I have problem with mission 'The Last Tank'. I've set up radios as always, in briefing is written that I must wait for Overlord to give me order to engage. I flew to the way point near the border and waited there for further orders from Overlord but nothing happens for a while. I have had correct radio setup because I was able to contact Overlord. Than I loose patience and destroyed all enemies I could find. I returned to the base but mission didn't finish. Did I miss something? I was on wrong location maybe? Thanks

Maybe this could help. Find common_keyboard_binding.lua and base_keyboard_binding.lua and similar for the plane you want to change key binding. Backup original lua files and open them for edit. Try to find binding for Eject command. Also take a look how some regular commands are defined i.e. {combos = {{key = 'L', reformers = {'RShift'}}}, down = iCommandPowerOnOff, name = 'Electric Power Switch', category = 'Systems'} Find Eject command definition and replace it with corresponding regular binding style definition.

Size is not important. The key is how quicky you can get to the information you need.

Yes. It would be very complicated because you should paint multiple different targets with multiple different laser codes, in order not all Skeets to fall on single target. I think that laser on Skeets is only for measuring distance.

I voted for A-10C because I think it is still most popular module with many newcomers which needs help to get into air. Firstly, I thought, there is enough materials for A-10C but when I saw your guides, I realize, there are no guides for A10 like that. On the other hand, being already pretty familiar with A-10C, I'm more interested in Mi-8 guide because there are a lot less learning materials for it. I would vote for this order: A-10C, Mi-8, Ka-50 Ps. Answers in survey allow multiple selection.

CBU is not laser guided although Skeet's(clusters) are laser and ir guided. Anyhow, you don't have control over Skeet's guidance. It seeks targets by pattern-matching. CBU-105/103 has Wind Corrected Munitions Dispenser guidance tail kit which is essentially inertial guidance system with target location taken from GPS. GBU-12 is laser guided weapon, so if you want to try laser it is good place to start. Here is short procedure: -turn on laser switch -select GBU-12 -in profile set CCRP -profile settings set AUTO LS, ON and LASE TIME to 10 -lock target with TGP -drop the bomb -BOOM!:)

Probably. I'm waiting for 4.0.0.8 on CDU before changing to NAV and turning on EAC and RDR ALTM. After this procedure, I never had problem with ALN UNS again. In flight I never noticed ALN UNS message if I had RDY message before.
