check your power settings your pc might be shutting off due to some weird thing ive had happen before with windows. make sure everything is off

Oh i know.GPU goesnt even get above 40'C cpu stays at 39'C its not a cooling or heating issue As 9 hours straight of BF4 on maximum settings without any frame drops or over heating issues, hottest my GPU has ever gotten in its history was 71'C sadly I think what ive heard before in this post is taht its the fault of the Older Engine not being able to be processed by newer hardware. How ever It still worries me since the "2.0" has taken so far to come out how much a improvement will it actually be. Ive had no issues running any games really. and turning the game from maximum settings to lowest, doesnt really seem to change the Frame rate at all oddly enough but its still unplayable

on lowest of the low settings. sitting on the tarmac. 30fps average looking left to right. 25 looking straight. 20 while taking off. 55 while looking out to sea, 20-30 while looking back to ground. 5-15fps while trying to land. I cannot make precise movements at 5-10fps. The aircraft doesnt even trim precisely (all these fps calculations are made with no weather,and no enemy units or objects) My old PC had a Intel Dual Core 2.99ghz (from 2009)processor. and had higher average fps However I do not wish to turn this into a AMD vs INTEL debate since similar priced INtel processors fail in comparison and I can say ive heard the same about Intel processors aswell with threading. however lets not do that here :P

So its just the older engine...no work around either? I finally got in the mood to start relearning the A10c...poop.... makes sense but...ide think this would of become a priority for them years ago...seeing as how even DX10 is starting to become out of date..

running lowest settings,sliders all to the left, I get 40-50 FPS with no vehicles even spawned! I got 30-60 FPS with mixed high/Medium settings with my GTS 240 and that is with a full battle going on!! AMD FX6300 3.50ghz x6 8gb of RAM ASUS R9 270X Yes all my drivers are updated as Battlefield 4, Even Assassins Creed:Unity runs at 50-80 FPS! and that game is horribly optimized! What the heck is going on here!? My older 2009 gaming PC was getting higher FPS and better graphics with this game! <sad that this is my 300th post>

under the AXIS tab at the top, Assign it like your X/Y joystick. REMEMBER, There is Manifold Presure AND RPM to think about, RPM is set to PG UP/DOWN by default.if you need a 3DS Extreme profile for it PM me, mine is verybasic., However for the P51, I would Recomend getting http://www.walmart.com/ip/Saitek-Pro-Flight-Throttle-Quadrant-PC-Gaming/8304652 As it has 3 throttle Axis you can use like (Flaps,Manifold Presure, RPM) and it makes flying greatcause you dont have to LOOK at the throttle to see where you are at with it. and its something you can use on any/all Modules.

the Huey requires Damn good Precision,teh Saitek Quadrant might be good as it has a longer spacing,However I do not know how Precise it really is,but for 55$ for a 3 throttle and 6 button Device, that isnt that bad. Just know that the Huey needs Presision, being able to go from 78% throttle to 72% smoothly can mean the diffrence of going in or out of a VRS or snapping the blades off.

P51 didnt really suffer from 'compression' badly as say, the P38 Lighting. while you do notice it at high speeds it doesnt render the elevators useless.

if you fly Righty, Mouse in the left hand,Keyboard in Middle,Joystick on Right, Have a button near your Right hand thumb to turn on and off CC,and have another near that one to Reset your View back to Center Works best for me.

Map Basic Axis and throttle, all the other buttons are just for ease of access,you get to those later. Pick a plane, Get a notepad make a Startup,Landing,Shutdown,ShortCuts. Pages. waht ever plane you want to learn how to fly, first learn from Startup,Flying and Handleing, THen work your way from Machineguns,Bombs and A2A rockets. Make sure you,Youtube it,instead of reading Text. watch people start it up, and make a startup list for yourself.

with the right mods,FSX can put DCS to shame,Visually only of course,Tho the lack of Runway Signs,Lights and Markings is still a bummer for night flying.:cry:

I dont belive that Single Player is the focus of the devs,Ive never touched Instant Action or Campagin in the 3+ years ive been playing,always just made my own with a few clicks.

I agree,There needs to be something to bring the 40+ people in their own multiplayer games into a single or couple servers,I understand Clans want their own servers,but that spreads out the already thin MP community

Think a simple bug is being given overly complicated and logical excuses as to why its not working,The only aircraft I trust Flying IFR are the FC3 Models and the A10c,Everything else I have to fly VFR, Using just the compass never got me where it should and Following Heading,and Runway markings, they seemoff while your landing, then when you sit flush on the runway, its off by 5+ degree's. which in real life would get you killed nightflying or due to weather. I think its something that will be fixed in 2.0 till then we gotta deal with VFR.

Thats your problem right there...This game NEEDS RAM like we need Oxygen and Just becuase you have 8GB of it, doesnt mean itll run faster,Im guessing you got the cheap Low-End cost RAM to save money but your getting pooped on by the clock speeds,Get higher speed stick of RAM. Even just a 4gb stick will be faster than what you got now. And just a warning , EDGE is comming out SOON. and if you barely pull 30fps Now,When EDGE is released your going to be having a issue. Im getting a New MB that has DDR3 Ramslots,AMD Fx6300,spending 43$ on 4gb stick of Corsair Ram that clocks at 1600mhz along with a MSI Radeon R9 270X ,Powersupply,1Tb harddrive and a extra blue fan for 447$. Im sure if you post a budget on here,People will help you build a PC thatll be perfect for the next 10 years for under 400$

530$ can get you a really good gaming rig that runs the game on max settings at 1600 resoultion 120fps.Itll outlast your laptop, Cost a fraction of the price and play games better. "Gaming Laptops" dont last long and litterlly burn themselves out.dont ever buy one. Windows8,Windows8.1,Windows9(10) are trash and if you have to worry about compatibility with your operating system,might aswell run Linux as youll save your self150$+

What clock speed are your RAM sticks, Couldnt help but notice that your "Upgrade" has DDR2 RAM aswell.it could explain why you are not getting much gain or it could be your Motherboard having issues as DDR2 is pretty dated and im wondering if your upgrade parts are having compatibility issues.

the nosewheel is really sluggish at turning,like rollerblading on rubber floors. so slow turns, and as part of the take-off checklist is at the foot of the runway to hld the NWS button with no rudder input for 10 seconds to straighten it out then let go,never take off with NWS on. Just a tip, ide sit in Third person on the ramp and have NWS on and move the rudder from side to side to se the Relitive motion and relation between the rudder and Nosewheel.

you are holding it till the gas producer hits 40 right?cause you have to hold it for about 20 seconds not press it. Slip this into your kneeboard Username/documents/savedgame/dcs/kneeboard that way you can start it up without paperwork.

Its cause the rockets dont exactly fire fast.unlike a Hellfire missle pod where they just insta poof. WW2 rockets burned slowly and had a excessive blast behind it,so the intial part of comming off the rail starts to pull the plane forwords(slightly) then when the blast wave of the rocket comming offf the rail hits the wing it pushes the plane back.
