  2. ok I dont know for sure but The MW shoudnt limit the ATA under 1.8 MW function its as an antidetonant and coolant. ATA will always be able to reach 1.8 but with MW50 off it will get extremly hot and not be able to obtain the extra 500Hp. So pushing the thorttle above 1.4 ata without MW50 its a bad Idea

  4. I remember an addon for FSX i thing it was the Diamind DA-20 or soemthing that have a Bendable Tab. It show a pop up window with a draw of the bendale tab and you could move it up and down dragging your mouse. people went crazy because they didnt have exact marking for it hahaha, they requested to have some kind of angle marking on it but the developer just said.. thats the way it is in real life. I think being able to edit the LUA file is more than enough to change the tab. and they should focus on more priority features (LIKE SMOKE from the engine and smoke from coolant liquid boiling!!!) PLEASEE
  5. that would be hard, Because the trim its a bendable tab (bendable as with the hand) so theres no exact marking on the tab.

  7. I can confirm this bug. I am able to hover the mig with wind set to 50m/s either headwind or tailwind. Either Clean Aircraft Or Gear/flaps/speed brakes. The IAS can go easily to 0 but when G.S. reaches 0 (in F2 outside view) the ariplane inmediatly stalls and drops the nose. Stall Speed should be linked to IAS, not TAS not G.S. now.. further testing, Standard ISA, Wind at 50m/s (97knots) At Power 100% no afterburner I get this numbers Tailwind IAS 470 knots G.S. 669 Knots thats 199 knots of difference wich seems a little too much Headwind IAS 504 knots G.S. 506 Knots G.s. Shoudnt be higher that TAS! on a headwind situation

  10. Just as Title says, the An-26B airplane doesnt appear on the Mig-21 radar, Ive tested several times. Different angles and distances. US Awacs, Albatros, F-5, tanker, all show up.

  13. Interesting post.. I dont know enough about the Dora to make any real statements but in general aviation terms, the generator needs to create enough power to recharge the battery up to optimum state. But its a Dora, and I would not be surprised if the generator wasnt able to keep up with your stress test. the dora its not meant to be electrically forced like that. multiple landing gear and flaps cycles at low RPM may be enough to drain the battery so low that your GEN may need more than 20 min to recharge. remember at LOW rpm no GEN power its produced (well not enough) so doing electrical stress test at low rpm its going to affect your battery, and without knowing the GEN output voltage or recharge power.. it may take longer than 20 min, or even, the battery can be totally damaged from this stress. My question here are.. This happens if LG and flaps cycle at high RPM? (with GEN working)

  15. Great! Thanks, i made the dcs map work perfectly, now i understand the use of the admin tool... But where do i find or set the user/password for spectator url.. I paste them in the connect url and it ask me for a password. And... How long does an instance stays online? Its there and option to completly close the instance? During testing i have set up about 7 instances... Great tool!! Thanks, i know your not updating this anymore, but if you take suggestions, a simple line draw appart from cirle or poly would be great
  16. Just a few problems... I can only connect via the "Red URL" and "Blue URL" link... Admin link says connection lost. And spectator mod need a password and I dont know where to find it. How should I use the DCS topographic map? I put the DCS-MAP folder inside the DCS-mission-planner??? because I keep seeing the DCS online. =)
  17. you can simulate this by creating waypoint with lower and lower altitudes, at certain point the pilot will avoid crashing by climbing not able to follow the route.. but you can set a trigger in an area at the lowest possible point for "explode unit" This works ok for me, I did a mission where a tanker has fire on the cockpit and it crashes in a mountain, worked pretty good.

  20. Forget about timers and times... They are just a reference... there no sush thing as 15 min max at take off power... This times are a general reference of how much time you have until your engine reaches max temps and fails. But if the ambient temp its hot.. or you been doing close turns and high angle/low speed climbs.. your engine its going to be hot even if you are at max continuous power. Your first.. indication of how much time you can have a certain amount of power its your temperatures of cylinder, Oil and coolant. Forget everything you learn in Il-2 and welcome to DCS

  23. No, without deleting WP 1 and 2... The ariplane always start at the first waypoint. Either on ramp hot, ramp start or in the air. Now... For testing pruposes I used to change the last waypoint of a route (landing) to the nearest waypoint I wanted to test.. so no, no need to delete or change the route for testing. I only had to move the last waypoint to the airport and set it to Land
  24. The Fw190 only has an adjustable trim tab only for pitch... How it ED going to handle the trim tabs adjustable on the ground?? will they be pre-set at the best configuration with no user input or can we adjust it in some way?
  25. The only reason I dont want a free airplane around its because you guys surely are going to choose the P-47D!!! and I dont want it to be free hahahah I dont want a bunch of noobs giving bad reputation to the thunderbolt hahaha
