  1. There I fixed it for you.
  2. I thought PAC was part of the flight model not the systems, but now you mention it, it's probably both. I guess it's kind of like asking why there isn't a togglable nose wheel steering option in the A-10A even though the button is there, it's not a full ASM plane so as Flagrum said, compromises need to be made somewhere.
  3. "Moar planes pls" -ED forum members 2014
  4. Great choices! I'm looking forward to shooting you down in the Me-262
  5. I'd still go for the P-38, unless we get WW2 Naval ops, then I would definitely pick the Coarsair! And the ability to drop Napalm! (I don't know if the P-38 was fitted with this.)
  6. Ka pai He nui tenei mea! :) Good post!
  7. As Tuco said, reflections are already in the game. I can get some nice ones on the P-51 skins, but not as good as the one in EDGE with the Sabre. EDGE will just improve the reflections (a lot :))
  8. It's going to be a free update for owners of FC3, and released as a standalone plane for people who want to buy only the Su-27. I believe ED's goal is to have all the FC planes like this, all with AFM or PFM.
  9. Get the BF-109K or the FW-190, which ever you prefer, and make your next choice the Me-262 so you have something to fly while you wait for it to come out :)
  10. agreed, I use all your jet sounds too
  11. that's because it's not out yet :)
  12. Still wating for that Mi-24... *cough*belsimtek*cough*
  13. Nice update thanks! How is the flight model of the plane coming along?
  14. for which plane? I know the Typhoon can fire it but that's the only one I know and it's not in DCS.....
  15. there will be no 1.2.9 and yes 1.3.0 = edge (I hope 8))
  16. Sorry if my first post appeared hostile towards you, this sort of stuff gets asked a lot here :) EDIT: The Nevada map will be released with the new graphics engine which should be quite soon I hope :) The map is completed but awaiting full integration into the new engine, as posted by ED
  17. Agreed, some of these late war warbirds that are announced look really exciting, I mean who doesn't want to fly a fully clickable BF-109K above the skies of Normandy?
  18. Okay I'll begin with this.... Eagle is developing an F/A-18C at this time, but they haven't released pics/videos of it because I would assume it is still very much WIP. For modern jets, there is also a MiG-21Bis being developed by Leatherneck, Eurofighter and Hawk by VEAO, Mirage 2000 by RAZBAM, F/A-18E Super Hornet by Coretex and probably others I forgot to name. I assume Eagle is also busy with the release of EDGE coming up hopefully, and the integration of the F-86 and MiG into that game. Are you kidding me? Warthunder is NOT a flight simulator and does not aim to please the hardcore simulation fans; it's an arcade game. Modern aircraft as most people know are a lot more complex than WW2 planes, take the A-10C for example. It took Eagle Dynamics 5 ish years to build this simulator and that was because they had clearance from the American National Guard to use their information for the game. Or at least that's what I've read. What was the result of this wait? The most realistic, top quality flight simulation that raised the bar and set a new standard. The World War 2 planes attract a lot of simulation fans, as DCS WW2 is the only sim currently that has fully clickable professional flight and systems modelling planes. People that love IL-2 (such as myself) but wish it took the realism to the next level and added the functionality of the cockpits, DCS WW2 is definitely looking promising to those people. If it's up to the same standard as the Mustang, then we'll all be happy :) WW2 is a much bigger fan base than modern combat, and once it really takes off for DCS we will likely see a huge increase in funding and availability for more planes and possibly faster development. I can assure you, a delayed release, is far better than a buggy/broken release that can cause an uprising on forums :D
  19. If not ED, then who's gonna make the planes?
  20.^
  21. Good luck to all! I'll go first:
  22. just bounce them from height and go for a guns kill :)
  23. Well a P-38 I would definitely love, I prefer the "High performance" late model WW2 planes like the P-51D and FW-190D9.
