I hope you are trolling and not serious.... 1.2.10 is just a number and LN had no idea that the patch would be called this, it might as well be "1.2.9.200" or whatever they usually do.... Their target "1.2.9" means that their goal is to release it before edge.

Does the Dora have interactive tutorials and SP missions? (I'd rather ask here than start a new thread)

EDGE is coming in 2014 and the MiG is to be released before EDGE....

I believe Cobra said a while ago that the external engine sounds shown in the videos so far do not represent the final product, and are "place holders" until the final sound is completed. Please tell me if I'm wrong though!

I voted no because I feel the need to have the Simulator in as much historical context as possible, as accuracy is very important to me. I'm waiting eagerly for a "Hakenkreuz" (Swastika) mod for the Dora :)

This was resolved via PM between us, the solution is to use an F/A-18 mod that uses the Su-33 cockpit.

It would be awesome if Wags starts making his tutorial vids using the Nevada map! Except, I think the reason he doesn't is because people would be too busy drooling at the scenery and not paying attention!

The rotor heads are animated, just not with the engine off :) Though not sure if it's because of the lack of hydraulic pressure, or just a bug.

Do you know when the current release version will sound like the one in your video? The sound is a huge part of the simulation, at least for me...

With the trimmer you hold it down until you are alying straight and level, or however you want to fly, and then you release.

Which other DCS do you have? The black shark is easier to fly than other helos, but there is a lot more hands on stuff to do and plenty to learn. I would definitely get it if I were you, there is plenty of challenge in this chopper and a good amount of enjoyment. I would recommend BigfootMSR's training missions and some cockpit and sound mods for a totally immersive experience! And I will add that Ka-50 has the best singleplayer experience, as it has 2 great campaigns which are somewhat story driven, and another which is more focussed on random missions.
