  1. R-828 Radio. It is currently not functional and not on the planned feature list.
  2. What? Huey > Bug and Problems > Aircraft systems/Avionics This is about the electrical system (Aircraft systems) and DC voltmeter (Avionics)? So why the worthless answer?
  3. Hi, I am wondering if the DC voltmeter indications are correct when the helicopter is up and running. No matter which voltmeter source I choose, indication is always 28V. If I turn off and reset the DC main gen and switch off the battery, both the battery, main gen and ess bus still indicate 28V. I think that's wrong, or do I misunderstand something from the electrical system diagram?
  4. Reset joystick.lua. New control functions have been added...
  5. ^ Reinstalled DCSW and only installed Huey, FC3 and Mi-8 because I fly them most of the time anyway. No change.
  6. Allright so we're getting there, albeit slowly.
  7. So that's why we cannot fly the mission Elbrus Rescue anymore. It is just within the real Huey's capabilities but there is no way you're even going to get to the top, which should be possible with translational lift. It makes me think the current engine power (or maybe the problem is somewhere else in the drive train) is not realistic.
  8. I heard some reports of a finally working backlight or whatever. But what was actually fixed? I am only able to control the overhead panel light knob, which turns on all panel lights. Not possible to do this individually because all the other knobs are not functional.
  9. Cooling fan.
  10. Battlefield 3. 25FPS. No problem.
  11. I look around with FacetracknoIR at 24FPS and it is just perfect... Maybe I'm not yet spoilt by a good rig that gives me decent FPS... Anyone noticed FPS improvements after re-install of DCSW. I'm considering it...
  12. If I'm comparing 25FPS with 50FPS I consider all other variables as constant ofc.
  13. Let me put it differently then. Your brain perceives anything above 24FPS as 'fluid'. You're not going to notice a significant difference between 25FPS and 50FPS.
  14. You get used to it. 20 Is actually pretty smooth. At 24 FPS the human eye can not see frames anymore. So 24 FPS looks the same as 100FPS. It gets annoying below 15 FPS.
  15. Changelog? haven't seen one. Come on BST!
  16. Allright. I'm going to install it from scratch. From saved games I've deleted input, Logs, data. Should I delete anything else or does it nor make any difference?
  17. 32 seconds... That is awesome. If you don't like it feel free to donate your computer. Try 5:45 or 8:43.
  18. Remember that the reticle does not determine where the rounds/rockets hit, the ballistics of your rounds/rockets determine how you have to adjust your reticle. So you are thinking the wrong way around. All rocket/gunpods are in a fixed position.
  19. Tried the mission Stray Eagle from the Huey. Huey: 13-14 FPS on FARP Mi-8: 7-8 FPS on FARP The Mi-8 is great but I didn't read the min system specs (Higher than Huey) and now I'm stuck with a product that I can barely fly.
  20. You will have to adjust your sights. You see that red marker on the angular correction wheel? That (I think) is about where your bullets and rockets go at minimal range. You will have to use the chart next to the weapons panel but it's not in english yet...
  21. Lorenzo, yes of course you have authority over you rudder after trimmer. But that is not what Ripper is asking for. IonicRipper: The rudder is part of the trim system and is subject to force feedback. That is, when I deflect my rudder to an off-center position and hit the trimmer, it will stay there. Thus, you will have to center your pedals unless you have a force feedback pedals. At this moment there is no option to uncouple the rudder from the trim system, only to enable or disable a certain percentage of autopilot authority. The HDG channel does only determine whether autopilot has some authority over rudder or not (in order to maintain heading).
  22. I do what mirmidon sais (you want to turn it of anyway if you are manoeuvring): I deflect my rudder, hit the trimmer and the rudder stays there. So because my physical rudder does not have force feedback I have to center it quickly or the helicopter will be over the place.
  23. Please report if it improves anything
  24. Nice work man! I've just been doing my own little research (remembering all the fuss in this topic) and came to the same conclusion. All photo's of the UH-1H Huey prove your point. I hope the devs will quickly look into it!
