  1. I'd like to see some more info on some systems that I turn on while I have no idea what they exactly do and how they exactly work [even if they are not modelled]. For example: - SOD IFF - Type 81 IFF - SRZO
  2. Can hardly imagine that an attack aircraft was not fitted with some flares in the 80's...
  3. Awesome! This is already in the latest version? Because I just started the engine and the sound is definitely much better!
  4. FYI. The LN interview in the 476th podcast also sheds some light on the improvements to the Mig-21. So go listen!
  5. LN Interview in the 476th podcast. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=2280105#post2280105
  6. There is so much in that post to get excited about! :pilotfly:
  7. Mavericks were once considered. Not anymore I suppose?
  8. Is AFM (I suppose you mean EFM in today's terms) already available for purchase when the SFM version releases? (Like the pre-purchase of the VEAO Hawk). Or do we have to buy the SFM version and upgrade for another $10 once the EFM becomes available? And yes. As Flagrum said, VEAO acknowlegded [in the 476th podcast] that selling an EFM and SFM version is something they will not consider doing in the future.
  9. Make supplies for the unwanted weapon you have in mind not available. It works. Excluding the nuclear bombs carried by the Mig-21 from the warehouse is a good example. Otherwise multiplayer missions on public servers would be totally ruined... EDIT: You mean: you want to prevent for example someone from loading a certain weapon while at the same time another type of aircraft IS allowed to use the weapon? Yes, then there is a problem.
  10. As long as the fictional loadouts are within reason (e.g. no AIM-54 for example, even if they tested it :P ) and can be realistically operated I'd say yes!
  11. Didn't the radial intercept interactive training mission answer all your questions? For me it did...
  12. I didn't see the eject animation for a 'client' Huey (even in single player) I do see it if the Huey is assigned to 'Player' in the ME. Maybe that helps some people...
  13. With the Freetrack 2.0 protocol it should be recognized as normal TrackIR. No dll files needed (not anymore). Plug n play for all modules and all other games/sims that support Track IR. Make sure you have FtNoIR 1.7.2.
  14. The embark/disembark feature is currently broken. It will crash the server. If it works again, it is a great alternative for scripted/triggered troop transport, as it actually takes into account weight of the passengers (also for clients).
  15. That is at least some good news. Will test on my wing's dedi server when the release version comes around
  16. I can confirm this issue. It must have been introduced recently. It happens on a dedicated server AND on a privately hosted server. The example is from the privately hosted session. It ALSO HAPPENS when disembarking troops! Here are the log files for the cargo unhook crash on a privately hosted server. Attached: Log file, dump file, crash file. Crashlog.rar
  17. Against player CAS / Ground attack is particulary fun. Their CAP is usually extremely careless. I started to record my kills. Make sure you know where friendly units are and fly over their positions until you find the active enemy objective. This is from two days. Every dash splits two different sorties (6 sorties in total). 1.Shot down an F-15C (CAP) with 1 x R60 over Kazbegi National Park - 2.Disabled an A10C with 1 x R3S just east of Khashuri 3.Shot down an Su-27 (Ground Attack) with R3S just north of Khashuri 4.Shot down a Ka-50 with guns over Khashuri - 5.Shot down an A10C with 2 x R3R south of Tskhinvali - 6.Shot down an A10C with 1 x R3R just east of Tskhinvali 7.Shot down an A10C with 1 x R3R over Tskhinvali - 8.Shot down a Ka-50 with 2 x R60M over Dzvhari 9.Shot down a Ka-50 with guns just south of Dzvhari - 10.Shot down an Su-25T with 2 x R60M just north of Kislovodsk --- Find Ka-50's by going very low. Two of them gave themselves away by firing their main gun.
  18. yes they were already there. Only new bomb is the high-drag 250.
  19. off-topic but: I think Novak is still an active pilot (according to Linkedin).
  20. Hi, See sig. Please note that this is a 100% realism squadron (without a military rank structure). The training program will heavily focus on flying skills but also on theoretical knowlegde that may not be considered relevant by some sim pilots (e.g. flight dynamics, systems and avionics knowlegde, limitations, procedures, etc). We do accept pilots with no prior experience on the Huey. However, be prepared for weeks to months of training depending on your starting level and talent for helicopter flying. 132nd is a Norwegian-based virtual wing with an A10C, Ka-50, milATC/AWACS/JTAC and a Huey squadron. Our members come from Norway, Sweden, Denmark, The Netherlands, Germany, England, Portugal and the United States. If realism is what you are looking for, join us. If you want to be more casual, there are enough fun online communities out there that will hopefully reply to this thread!
