  1. I'm getting tired of seeing your negative comments everywhere. Learn to appreciate that a team consisting of only four men with no prior (release) experience is working around the clock to bring us a world-class module.
  2. It looks like the Mig-21 is either unaffected by wind (at relatively low wind speeds) or shows some very unrealistic behaviour (at very high wind speeds)
  3. Ah, yes. That's the chart! It's a very good chart. It clearly shows the relation between Syrian Mig-21's and the tail hook for retrieving ejected pilots during a mid-air CSAR operations. If you look closely, you can see that it is indicated by the word 'Yes'.
  4. Touché... You must have read my 'Cruise performance is not according to the charts' rant :music_whistling:. Good thinking! But this one is actually true: I have a chart for it somewhere if you don't believe me...
  5. He must feel so ashamed because he initially thought that nose cone side to side movement is a bug. He is now looking for a way to delete his account because his name will be forever infamous!
  6. Not just speed. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=131335
  7. I would make a terrible moderator... I ask to discuss the avatar mystery somewhere else... Next post...
  8. Take S24's for tanks. Almost a certain kill on each pass after some practise. Scored a double kill on two moving tanks on the road twice (There was 2m between then at most)! Of course killing a static one is no problem either. A friend shot this video of the double kill as well as a single kill on a moving T-55.
  9. Su-27 with PFM and ASM would be OMG-overload But honestly I think it will be like the F-15C. PFM only.
  10. Guys, if you want to discuss or solve the 'Wags avatar mystery' please go here
  11. I allowed ProfessorRider to expand and re-release my mod. He released a Russian version of the mod. I believe he got red units to work, although I'm not sure since I no longer use or maintain this mod myself. I think he also implemented the JTAC for the Mi-8. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1839425&postcount=1
  12. FacetrackNoIR is the way to go! Isn't it? :noexpression: No? :( Ok I'll leave... -- Properly tweaked it is actually quite good. Did you notice any bad habits in this video? --
  13. 1 inch = 25.4mm 29.92 inHg = 760mmHg You can use a calculator for the time being. I'm sure this issue will be fixed.
  14. I'm pretty proud of this one: My first landings were terrible (hard touchdown, launched back with no speed - broken landing gear), but now I know exactly how much input I need for a smooth flare and most of my landings are like this now...
  15. 1 2 3 4 Left Right Left Right In In Out Out I wrote this down and learned it. It's useful knowlegde without a DSMS...
  16. I think Beczl showed us many more (A2G) weapons, such as retarded bombs. I wonder if we will see these weapons in a future patch.
  17. It doesn't snap on targets, the pipper is only stabilized. You can set the target size to whatever suits you in A2G. I can imagine that locking a target on the ground would require some digital filters to distinguish it from the background. Not something that this simple radar is capable of...
  18. That's an impressive list! Many thanks to all those involved in tracking down these bugs. Is LN aware of these findings?
  19. Try to keep the angle between the ground and the virtual line between your plane and the target exactly constant. This way the pipper won't move away from the target. If you increase this angle, you will see the ground behind your target where the pipper was initially stabilized to (and the missile might over-fly the target).
  20. All my flights before the update started at t=1. Now it's between 1 and 1000 or something. And yeah, IAS is about 1/4th of the real IAS.... Haven't checked other parameters. Maybe there is more...
  21. SARPP Data shows wrong information since the last patch. I checked my files. Before the small update all numbers seem to be alright. The attached file from after the update shows that the data starts recording at a random time and that the speed is incorrect (cruising at 250 km/h. It's not even true if that was knots). With the SARPP viewers in development, I really hope that the SARPP will be adjusted in a future patch. Or is there something wrong on my end? Strange SARPP.txt
  22. The nosecone may affect maximum performance, but landing with the auto nose cone position on or off on final at the same speed should not make a difference in AoA. And I must say that I've noticed some performance issues after reloading too. And that was after I learned about the nose cone switch. I find it hard to identify, let alone quantify, so I didn't report it. I think it's definitely a good idea that a dev takes a look at the OP.
  23. In 6 years of flying DCS I have flown in game mode for 10 seconds... ...Because one of the Black Shark quickstart missions had this option enforced.
