  1. Go to MENU->PLAN Click left-most OSB, select and REVISE from the menu and click the OSB again. Press ACTIV and you will go back to your usual Nav page with the flight plan restored. There is a chapter dedicated to the ABRIS in the manual. It's all very well explained and maybe worth your time...
  2. Yes I can do that. But the mod is really aimed for the Ka-50. What can a SU-25T do with MGRS or DMS coordinates? WP is the best and only option. Secondly, without a radio you will be adressing ALL JTAC's and players. I don't know what that is going to be like but it can't be very good. If the Su-25 gets a proper radio equal to the radio equipment in the Ka-50 I might do it.
  3. Wait for PeterP to reply. He has got a standard beginner reply with some nice links. If it doesn' t happen PM him. It's a nice collection. Also don't miss BigfootMSR's training missions.
  4. Excellent! I'm enjoying it myself too! Thanks for the rep.
  5. Nice pic! but ehh... http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=1526362&posted=1#post1526362
  6. Have been succesfull with both. the KOM should be better in theory, but killing a T-72 with a direct hit from an OFP is no problem. I usually go with the KOM. If there is infantry and a lot of light vehicles I take the OFP.
  7. That's why I asked about how you handle the radio's several times :music_whistling: Glad to know that it is working... Not to spoil the happiness but: You are talking VHF FM, so FM is good. You mean that you were talking to the R-800 VHF AM radio and now you are talking to the R-828 VHF FM! Edit: About the sound bug. Find PlaneWindIn.sdef and edit it. it sais gain = 0.2.75 make that 0.275 and it will work. Reported to zzzspace as well so I guess he will look after it for the next version of his mod...
  8. That is the latest version of the original A10C campaign.
  9. Check the user files on the DCS website. Wags the producer uploaded a CA compatible a10 campaign with cold start positions. You can also edit every mission in the Mission editor. http://files.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/214325/
  10. No conflict at all. Has been tested. Ka-50 will hear DMS coordinates while the A10C on the same freq hears nothing (because of russian voice sound bugs, fixes included in the mod) or MGRS. Some A10C pilots are quite surprised to see their JTAC targets are being taken by you :P Also, when flying the A10C yourself you will receive MGRS as usual. Thank Kegetys for his coding
  11. If it is a problem with the radio's: - Check if R-828.lua is using correct frequencies as stated in the manual. Did you try to edit them in wordpad? If neccesary: manually copy the modded R-828.lua and overwrite the old one. - A reinstall will most likely fix the problem. (if nothing else works. I hate reinstalling DCS and reinstalling all the mods, too :smilewink:) What do you mean by: 'The radio numbers change' Could you clarify?
  12. og sound files? Which ones do you need? But none of the errors seem to be related to this mod. A final solution is to reinstall world, install my mod and see if it works. Then install other mods and check if the mod is working. Also, V1.0 was working am I right? BTW I just checked with a V1.1 user on teamspeak. Everything is working as advertised. I have to ask again about it: Are you doing the radio procedure right and do you use the SPU-9 PTT?
  13. Looking into both now... ----- I found nothing related to my mod, sorry. Please follow the instructions on how to use the R-828 carefully. And check this file: 00000.298 ERROR SOUND: can't load proto file "sounds\sdef\aircrafts\planewindin.sdef" Ah I found the problem. it sais gain = 0.2.75 should be 0.275 I will contact zzzspace. Not related to this mod!
  14. Upload the log file please after another unsuccesfull attempt. You sure that you're handling the radio right? And try to reinstall. Also confirm that your spu-9 ptt is working.
  15. No, but you want to overwrite the NATO.lua file from the real sound mod and use mine. So installing the sound mod after the JTAC mod will break the JTAC L/L feature.
  16. Can you hear your own check in? Please try calling the JTAC, wait a bit and then send me your DCS log file. Located in your saved games folder\DCS\logs Oh one other thing: did you install zzzspace real sound mod after my mod? If yes: reinstall my mod and overwrite everything.
  17. @Fangav Just copy the DCS world folder and it should automaticly placed in the JTAC\Alphabet and DCS ka-50\Player\Alphabet. Nothing will be overwritten because the file is missing. @Mastiff See the end of my post #16 in this thread.
  18. New video in the first post using V1.1 of the mod!
  19. Uhm? The mod is for world v1.2.0... I don't fly any of the DCS v1.1.1.1 modules anymore... What do you mean?
  20. V1.1 now online! Enjoy! No more MGRS converting! Thanks Kegetys for your reply and your contribution!
  21. I'm currently working on V1.1 The check-in line is completely fixed now. The problem was that a folder named 'Weapons' should have been named 'Weapon' and a sound file called 'Guns' should have been 'Gun'. Thanks Kegetys! Now waiting for some help with the L/L coordinates. If it works I will release V1.1 with an updated manual. A new demo video will also follow to demonstrate the new features. It will be as if the JTAC was made for the KA-50 in the first place ;) Thanks everyone for the positive feedback (and the reps :P)!
  22. Hey man could you PM me the changes? I will add it in version 1.1. These things will be credited to you of course! I've been trying to find what I had to change in NATO.lua but no luck. For Russian side you must also make USSR units JTAC compatible. This makes mission incompatible with other players in multiplayer, I suppose. EDIT: HAHAHA the reason why the check-in line doesn't work is so extremely silly. Go to \DCS World\Sounds\Speech\Sound\ENG\DCS Ka-50\Player and find the folder named 'Weapons' there. Rename it to 'Weapon' Will also include in manual 1.1
  23. Great! Good to know that it is working for other people. More feedback always welcome! Wondering if anyone tried to use in multiplayer already? I've had no problems so far. I've also released a training mission for this mod. Check it out here.
  24. This is a mission designed for use with my KA-50 JTAC integration. This is a simple training mission with 2 AFAC's (Predators) and 1 JTAC (Humvee). There are ten groups, each consisting of four vehicles. Threats include IR SAM, AAA, Tanks, Light armour and transport. Download the KA-50 JTAC mod HERE. Downloading and playing this mission without it makes no sense... Good luck! KA50JTAC_Training.miz
