I wonder how often they 'forget' the before landing check-lists...

Normally you place your jeppesen charts in there. Detailing approaches and such. VFR map or LLFC (for GA) are onboard by law. It folds quite easy since it's paper (a bit thicker than usual).

No I think I know what you are experiencing. Is it that it freezes 'random' for like half a second/second and then goes on? If so it's most likely the mission text messages. They lag the game like hell for me. Don't know why, could also be server related but it's quite annoying.

Then export the flight models out of FC2 and put them in dcs... How hard can it be? Think they even had that in dcs:bs in the beta's.

But uuuuh, wouldn't it be logical for us to use the fc2 jets allong with DCS untill there is a dcs fighter released? On the matter itself I can't really convince myself what is best. Either way has clear advantages and disadvantages.

If the modules would be incompatible DCS is useless on it's own if you ask me. The very thought behind the modules were to make 'em al compatible and let the planes work together. Otherwise what is the point?

Ok i'm trying to pan the view (external) with the mouse in a recorded track. So I press lctrl- F2 and it works. But when my plane loads in the track it stops working for some reason. I've edited the view.lua file to set the cockpitmouse to false and the externalmouse to true. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work... Does anyone know what the solution to this problem might be? Oh was in no way anything bad to the ground crews. I have the upmost respect for them (otherwise I wouldn't fly hehe... something like quid pro quo? ;) )

No one of them flew a whole plane into the ground.... Which is worse? And student pilots have to learn these kind of things. That's why the IP's don't mind these kind of 'small' mistakes. As long as flight safety isn't affected they can't be bothered too much except for the part where you have to pass or fail a flight ofcourse.

Go play project reality... It soon will have 128 or maybe even 256 players in a server possible. For the other part, battlefield: vietnam was the best fun I've ever had in the whole series. Napalm dawn, yay!

Trust me when I say that when you're flying in real-life you're making constant corrections like the ones you are talking about in-game ;) So I can only guess it's a good thing.

Dont fly form on the boom... it moves since the boommaster will move that thing around to give you some fuel. Fly formation on the tanker, look a bit up and look at the tail section, I find it to be an excellent reference point. After you've connected you can switch ofcourse but I find it easier when staying focused on the tanker itself.

Biggest thing is that most people grab the stick and try to crush it while tanking because of the tension etc. Relax your muscles, you'll get more accurate!

Just relay magnetic bearings to bullseye. Other pilot can calculate a heading where to go quickly and then just pop 1 flare if needed. Basically Position to WP/BE Angels Nothing more.

They kinda made that up quite well with Win7 didn't they?

Is it me or are the stats not really accurate? I killed almost triple the amount of planes the last 3 days and only 9 kills? Deaths are accurate tho..... Am I missing something?

There is a lil weird visual thing at 37 seconds.... canopy scratches when the canopy is up? strange
