  1. http://rapidshare.com/files/377759805/Teddy-LO.pr0.html There you go. It's a setup that I use for years now (and most at RvE use something similar).
  2. Isn't that more or less the mistake of the developers who wrote the game that they didn't write the game to make the maximum use of a cpu? And not the cpu ;) Even tho ME2 and FO3 will proberly be limited by the GFX card instead of cpu power unlike simulation games.
  3. "dynamic" you'd mean
  4. Good point with the valleyhopping.... drives me nuts, no fun whatsoever (for me).
  5. You're saying, the more money you put into this you can get nicer features? You just lost all credibility....
  6. Yes will do once I find it. First have to identify it.
  7. Well it was a jammer about 30nm out and it jumped like 5 times to 160nm because I unlocked to scan the area.
  8. Heh kuky you sound like a 5yr old. "I can have no candy so no talking to you". Go be the ultimate fighter pilot hero, tough guy. Btw yoda on a constructive notice. I noticed that when you break lock from a jammer the scale goes to 160nm and that the elevation will sometimes go all the way up... Big in LEAVU or fc2?
  9. Tell me one thing then if you call this more unrealistic or whatever blablabla. If you want more realistic shit eh. Does the F-15 in real-life have datalink (capability)? Think we all know the anwser to that one. Then what is the freaking problem? If ED. didn't want people to change the game in this manner they would see to it that it ain't possible. But since they did (and know about all to well) we can assume they ment for modding like this? You're saying this changes the product that ED released. Maybe so, but maybe ED wanted to implement this but didn't have the time so they let the "hole" open for this to fill?! I'm not saying LEAVU is good or bad because it's too personal to judge about it from person to person. Only thing I know is that I like it allot and actually levels the playing field. You get some S.A. as to what you have in the russian jets. Did they get datalink and the F-15 not because it was more realistic? Or was it that they were too lazy to add it? Now I wish you more happy angry posting. Yorz
  10. It's funny how you all make such a "huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge problem" out of nothing. Damn you should make some damn good television together, world's finest on a forum talking in the most childish way. Good luck with your "simulator". If you still believe that, well let's just say it explains enough. You guys are afraid of change, which is funny in itself because you asked for change, you got it now and the complaining begins (yet it started before 2.0). Leavu is an option, it doesn't tell where every fly is in the universe, you can all sleep happily ever after.
  11. Sounds like you have set up the controls only to only mode in the A/C
  12. Luckily for all of us then.... You don't have to do anything with it, and we don't want you to. Problem solved, NEEEXT!
  13. Well not exactly, your eyes can see the lack of fps but your brain tells you to smoothen it out of the frames are more or less the same. (read blurred) And if it would be 20fps steady no change whatsoever, yes it would be good enough to game with, it would tire you faster then let's say 60fps because your brain is making up for the missing images :smartass:
  14. 18? Well you must have the slowest brain known to mankind then. Please, if you think that like 25 is enough because movies are shown like that (or used to) you are dead wrong. Only thing why 25fps is enough in movies is that the whole screen is blurred. The difference ain't that great in the pictures so 25fps is ample. For games however it was first generally thought that 30fps would be enough. Few years later it gone up to 60. And yes it even went up after that, 72fps was the new "must have". Then there was an test by the USAF that showed one picture different from all the others. And take a guess how many fps that was, 72? no wrong. 100 no wrong. It was 1 picture in 1/120 of a second. Realize what that means? Yes you are correct. The human eye can detect way more that 100fps, the be honest no-one knows where the limit is, except for the lil grey guys from outer space :music_whistling:

    FSX THREAD

Thought I'd share one of my pleasure flights across suisse with yes I know a USAFA plane ;)
  16. Mumble integration or some sort of voip would be awesome... Simulated Radio communication.
  17. Would it not be easier for just an authentication setup that when you join a server to automatically login to a auth server first that verifies your serial or anything? just wondering. Valve did it years ago with half-life and it still works like a charm.
  18. Don't take anything stated below as offensive to anyone! I respect ED in the way that they want to secure the product and at the same time I want to smack their heads for doing the classic mistake, they're doing the exact thing that will rather make a community hate them than love them, big example here being ubisoft. Now don't run to conclusions and say ah you downloading whore etc.... I admit I download games and movies, like anyone of you. My point is the following. Whenever you try to enforce a DRM protection people will crack it and because it will have a higher profile when it's cracked because it was harder to do so. You also have a bunch of people who are against DRM and I actually understand that very well since I've experienced this problem myself. I bought the downloaded version twice because my activations ran out and ED took over 2/3 weeks to replenish them. Yes I know they don't have to do that and it was in the holidays and such so I cannot blame them. But the fact is that after 12 days I was so pissed I bought the ****ing game twice because I wanted to play it and we had a match coming up. Tough luck one might say, maybe so but look at it from this point. When someone runs out of activations they have to ask for new activations and it will take a few days to make this whole thing happen. In the meantime people cannot play the game THEY PAID FOR. So when you look at this you could say that you're buying a pizza but you can only eat 2/3's of it. And what will people do. Find a way to eat the other third of the pizza. Same thing with software. Don't believe that making this shit harder to crack it will be more secure, it won't. Most of the time it will have a counterproductive effect and you're only cutting yourself in the fingers. And yes I will buy DCS because the choppers are kickass things to fly even when I do not agree on certain things, this is no factor tho. Hope it was not too much of your time and within the rules.... (I have no clue when you cross them these days). Yorick.
  19. Wauw even I did get a screenshot and I wasn't there! ;) (Callsign teddy ofc). But very nice screenshots indeed.
  20. cougar+mods otherwise x52pro
  21. Well if you agree to 40% fuel for the flanker.... it's kinda lame to drop it to get less fuel.
  22. Rofl. Well as I see it at this point your tactics are flawed in an gigantic way.
  23. What has 2/3 years ago to do with now?
  24. Well to be honest Ice.... If you pull that one me once... You're dead. :joystick:
