In combat I most of the time have some AP functions on but never the FD and when just flying around I like to feel the bird and put everything. I can fly way more precise like that I must say... Feels more like in real-life... knowing where the boundries of the bird are. You just have to fly coordinated, and that is what most people don't realize and thus don't do.

Well the discussion you pulling me to with that reply ain't fit to be held here since it more contains on what DCS is but a well . I was just stating that it's a quite rare thing to charge a fee for patches that should've been free since it was supposed to be the nature of DCS (modules integrable with eachother and make them all compatible.) and not freaking charge 20$ to make happen what was promised to us from the get go. I enjoy Ka-50 quite allot and the A-10 was a marvelous plane to pick. I enjoy both quite a bit but I think ED has to make up their mind. First they say, oh we can't give you fc2 or whatever because we don't have the manpower. And now all out of nothing you have a P-51D mustang in development next to the next US fighter module? Where did that come from? You all of a sudden have more manpower than you would need? What about FC3? Can remember something was yet to be done there. Is this just a project to keep certain parts of your team entertained and occupied between modelling and something? ED is making themselves better than they are in my opinion. Bugs are still present that were in the first release of FC and maybe even Lo-mac. It's too hard to get those out because they don't pay you money. Simple enough, and yes while I do get ED is a commercial company and relies on the fact that it needs an income to live I think this is pushing it a bit too much. If you have the spare manpower go make things that are usefull like a dynamic campaign and let us enjoy the full potentional that is out there. The mustang simply has no room in the 80's and on part of where the rest is set in timewise. And I can appreciate that it it's an evolved tech-demo... Which shows passion on your side. I can not see me paying another 50$ for this unless it has a build-in mcdonalds or something. PS. Trolling? Give me a break that was my first reply after my initial reaction so if that's trolling... go ahead ban me because then I'm a moron and can't differ one from the other.

Well you have to admit that it's quite a strange choice and it's only the latest in a series of bad choices if you ask me... Been a fan for years and flew FC to death... But ED seems to be slipping in the commercial market funnily due to capitalism. When you announce that there will be a next patch fine. But when you show of that it's a FREE patch... How far has one slipped?

a-1 jet fuel is 7 pounds per USG And A-1 is similar to the US air force JP-8 jet fuel I believe.

Kinda depends on what helicopter you fly... (even in the same model range but different airframes). Some airframes require more AT (anti-torque) than others. Quite weird but every airframe has his own distinct character. As a pilot you learn to feel those different things and fly with em nonetheless. And basically my point is that when you don't require much pedals it can be quite realistic. But no pedals is unrealistic ofcourse. Raising the MP at a given rpm (say 3000) it's quite possible that you need to put pedals in to where you feel the ground getting 'loose' and after that you don't require much more input except for a bit more pulling on the collective. Just saying... Haven't tried the game yet but I'm quite interested. Unfortunately I don't have operation arrowhead so I'll have to wait a while.

Btw one lil nitpicky part about QNH... QNH is not the pressure measured at sea. It's measured at (any given meteorological site) and by formula calculated back to sea level. As I said... minor nitpicky thing but a well :)

Beyond the Red Line is kinda dead... Most of the team moved and made a new BSG mode called 'Diaspora' and is yet to be released. But it looks awesome and they've made some of the models for the BSG MMO. http://diaspora.hard-light.net/

Go try the reality mod for BF2... Totally teamplay if the server is set up right. And soooooo freaking awesome with 128 guys trying to shoot eachother.
