  1. I bought this on flash sale a few months ago knowing full well this could happen. Since i payed like 15 dollars for it i'm not too fussed about it really but i do view it as a mistake. A mistake i won't make a second time. Never paying for SFM again. This isnt meant as an insult towards the devs it's just my story. From what i've seen here and on the Hawk forums there's a lot of people who seem to have gotten burned by their pre order, some taking it worse then others.
  2. Yes but new ground units are not a promise i'm gonna be waiting for. Looks how long P51 has been out and there's still no WW2 ground units (part of the reason i'm staying away from dcs ww2) , and with how big DCS WW2 is getting i imagine WW1 ground units would absolutely never happen
  3. I see no reason why it shouldnt be able to
  4. No. from wags in official updates : Regarding Steam: we plan on releasing it as a Steam DLC a bit after the release of the Open Beta on the DCS e-shop. As always, we do NOT pre-sell (Early Access) DCS DLC on Steam. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2477079&postcount=4 ps this should probably be moved to m2k discussion and not russian wishlist thread
  5. Isnt the A10C and a10A fm exacly the same?
  6. Hawk makes sense since it uses SFM, i think maybe this will officially be called DCS : Mirage 2000 when the AFM is set in stone and finished. edit : actually c101 doesnt have afm either... hmm strange
  7. no but it does have its own sead missile , though wether or not it will be implement is still being considered
  8. What products? It has the standard price for a new module... hell it's as expensive as the C101 right now wich is a vastly inferior module system model wise and it still uses SFM
  9. I agree but the problem with that is that then you could have arguments for implementing weapons that can't be used IRL. Very recently there was a discussion just like this on the F14 forums about aim-120 capability. Problem is i don't actually know if the mirage 2000C could use the AS37 or not, but i think that if it could carry and use it , even if it was never used in real life , we should be able to carry it too. But i can see why devs are hesitant to implement it.
  10. No i agree. In that case you just use CCIP.
  11. Got a source for that? Because that would be a massive increase wouldnt it?
  12. Yes that's what i meant. Anyway we'll see.
  13. I have no idea if this is true or not but this sounds like a genius idea
  14. I think that's part of the reason ED is now allowing skilled mission makers to publish their missions and make money. That way there will be way more campaigns available to be spread along the different maps. But it's a valid concern given how soon there will be 5 different maps already (leatherneck's map that comes with F14, NTTR , Caucasus , Hormuz and Normandy) But the opposite logic also applies. If the devs spend more time making campaigns for the new maps , people will be more inclined to buy said new maps.
  15. I guess properly was a poor choise of words. More appropriate would be "sustained" turn. Guess not. Thanks
  16. All i can say is we desperately need something other then su25t to do sead ;). But that will be polarizing in the community between people.
  17. But we wont get the multirole variant will we?
  18. Will it be able to turn properly or will it be like mig21 where the wing design bleeds energy like crazy at medium to high AOA?
  19. Okay my bad sorry. I really don't know anything about mirage 2000 other then the stuff i've picked up here on the forums. I didn't realize info was limited.
  20. I think the question isn't about how it works right now in the sim but how it is intended to work at release :joystick: I'm just trying to get a feeling of how operations will work :)
  21. I don't know , i'm not too familiar with mirage 200 (yet) but like Chrinik said it could be trough the HUD like su 27/Mig29/su25t, or maybe you can enter coordinates and have the INS guide you onto target. hell maybe even a system to make new offset waypoints from current waypoints.. but i doubt that
  22. You don't need a TGP to be able to designate a target.
  23. I am l'ejecting. Question about the weapons , i saw a post from august (edit oops got it wrong that was february)from Zeus saying it will be able to carry Exocet and AS.37 armat (sead) missiles I don't see AS37 and exocet in the announcement post , is this an oversight or will these not be included? Doing anti ship strikes and especially SEAD will increase this aircraft's value tenfold.
