maybe you've missed it but URGRAMEDIA is working on israel-lebanon-syrian confllict MAP......just read a few pages back, it will include 20 airfields across these countries, incuding turkey, syria, lebano, jordania, israel etc etc... this will be AWESOME!!! And personally I will never buy vietnam or korea war ERA....I prefer cold war era or post cold-war era. ;)

I run DCS repair and remove metashaders and fxo on a regular basis at every open beta patch, nevertheless sometimes trees appears to be old janky quality trees/cartoons style, it seems in conjuction with sun reflections....I dont know how to describe it, but I remember from old 2.5 teaser videos the trees quality was superior. ;)

that's what I meant...just restart the game ;):):D probably switcing between seasons required loading of shaders which is the reason of fps drop.

you're running a barely accetable minimum requirments for playing in VR , you need singlethread fastest cpu and better GPU, plus you have dd3 ram which a lowspeed ram at leats 8 years old technology. You need ddr4, and at least a 1080ti + 7700k/8700k/9900k cpu series.

I believe mission editor is pretty ram hungry, emtying the cache whilst changing season is a good idea

number 5 keypad is for recentering of FOV, that's why probably it wont work :)

I am using the buttons on my warthod joystick for moving the TDC instead of the axis on the throttle but compared for example to the f15C the movement of TDC is quite slow. Is there a way to increase the speed of the TDC to have is same as the F15C? Thank you!

2.5.3. used to be openbeta as well, we already have all the new airfields, I hoper we'll get new stuff soon, the map is huge and 99% is desert so hopefully new stuff will be included in the future, but it depends on hardware capability and engine limiations.

the added airfields were in the previous patch, on the current 2.5.4 we don't have new stuff.

why you say so?' it will the most amazing map ever created in DCS imho, my future hope is for a north-adriatic +ex yugoslavia theater, so I can take off from Aviano :megalol:

not entirely true, if you look at videos posted a few pages back showing edge engine from avia simulators, afghan theater already exists along with other stuff, this is 3 year old video, take a look here

My statements are based on WAG'S interview on PCPilot magazine , so I could be wrong , on the interview it's stated MAC will not be connected to DCS but recently Nineline has posted it will be possible to play it either as DCS content or standalone :)

Guys you could not like their videos (neither do I ) they' are not so professional as Redkte could be but comon they are are a positive and enteratining group, at the end of the day DCS is a GAME!!!

MAC will be independent/ standalone game that will not be connected to DCS, it will be an arcade-simplified game. It will use DCS engine but will be a completeley different-indepentend game :thumbup:

not a coverup, yes I was talking about the battle simulator, but well DCS is the commercial "part" of the The Battle Simulator , as stated on their homepgage. What I think is quite simple : first they develop for the military, when it becomes old they give it to us .

those videos are not from ugra media, are from Avia simulators but I dont know who has created those theater from them, there are several videso on their homepage with Baku - Azerbaijan, and Etiopia. I think ED/Ugramedia/Bellsimetek etc etc are much more involved in "real" military and "simulatore" than we think. What we have now in DCS World it's just the tip of the iceber, persian gulf, syria theather, afghan , iraq etc is somethinh in my opinion that already exist, when certain political/militarty decisions are make then we can benefit from all this huge military project :)
