I think the export version from the 80s of that missile is not datalink guided corrected. But as you all can see a lot have been changed in the export policy for the new Russian export market view after 2000s.

About the overpowered interception of Aim-120. Take in mind that in an ECM fighter maneuvering this perfect guidance is not IRL possible depending of aspect ratio and heading, that should not be guided as perfect seem to be in the sim. ECM noise on that radar that guide should not be ignored when TWS is in use.

I don’t think there are many stuff to load... the only thing came to my mind is mortars. I would like to know if there is option to load stuffs, as mortars or towed artillery? Realistically speaking. I think Should be prioritized the countries skins that use in wars real Life combat action the Mi-24. Syria, URSS, Cuba, Iraq. Not sure about Egipto. The 4 mentioned were the first countries to use Mi-24 in Wars as main Attack Helicopter. Of course Probably they will not care mush about that. Money first instead simulation... USA skin will be there as first...

That’s true. Just keep in mind in DCS most of the time we are kind of scouts without support. I am talking about what we do statistical speaking is not exactly have support from fixed wings. So taking that in mind. Our Mi-24P will go like the European frontline with MiG-21 and MiG-23 covering us (lets no to talk about FC3 MiG-29) also keep in mind ED doesn’t want upgrade the Air Defense units so the possibilities of an air defense ambush are minimal in DCS. So I understand ED want to make a closest Russian P version. The reality in DCS is even worst tactically speaking. Worst than the possible response make by Warsaw Pact Mi-24P export version. I honestly don’t know what is the difference in Avionic for Mi-24P Warsaw Pact export version. But the Research for implementation of SPO-15 as a export version is possible. In this case we will be bias and unfair if we have account the Warsaw Pact versión have not a map in DCS for a SPO-15 sensor implementation. We already have weapons and systems in DCS that doesn’t have a specific map IRL speaking...

I guess you have some experience in Ka-50. if you do, Then you know rocket attack with speed give you more option to survive in a heavily hostile battlefield where a simple rocket man can be hidden in bushes. As I have mentioned before. Don’t take the experience of DCS so seriously. Infantry is deadly in frontline combat. DCS have a huge lack of infantry and the best weapons for that threat is multiple rockets launch. Situation: After you your wingman been hit by a rocket that was shoot from that hill what is the weapon you will use against. Your super modern guided missile or a bunch of 20 rockets so called by you old school WW2.?? The response Should be the fastest one...

What part of your reading in NVA site make you thinking like that? All depend what kind of targets and situation. You are reading a professional life experience about military equipment about an attack helicopter from 80s. They are not telling you how penetrate the weakest Iraqi defenses in a open desert. You leave a chopper with ATGM only in Europe battlefield and probably you will be downed with 12mm.

At mid 80s Mi-24 was exported with RWR. You can see SPO-15 antenna in both versions and two different countries, Cuba and Germany. I don’t see the reason we are not getting RWR as last video show.
