  8. Recently I have seen a new weapon announcement that show how defeat the R-27 incoming missile with an active new generation method, such I don’t like point here to not Off-Topic. There you can see how important is in the mind of engineers the real threat of R-27 family missiles. It is very well know the huge upgrade capabilities of such modular design and of course every change is obviously military secret. Taking that on mind, it is not reasonable implement improvements we don’t have idea about. NOW... if the manufacturer feel confident enough to put on sale certain developments like passive new homing head R-27P and share some information about some guided methods. Then is very deep the not inclusion and implementation of this confirmed developments. It is even more deep how many users spend time in behave with opposition against such improvements. Or people have nothing important to do, or they are child’s shitting all around. That disappoint a lot... but that have to do a lot about the soul of everyone.
  9. About the video. The bug explanation about SAM position still on map even when SAM changes position. For my understanding is not clearly a bug. What I understand they still can record your position on his MFD moving map ones visual. So my advice for developers: better link the spot position with a trigger zone 300m.   10. I did a mission and found the same problem. If you set in payload a TV targeting missile. Every SAM unit will be spotted and destroyed at first even when SAM never turn radar ON. My solution was: put every SAM inside forest, when they are close enough activate a trigger to move SAMs out forward with radar ON on RED. Worked!   12. If I have zero idea and you confirm exactly that R-27T have PN such it is what I am telling too. Then How many ideas you have? You just confirmed the same I told. I am not claiming nothing. I just telling look my post 32 track 1 you will see the missile leave the rail on pursuit and that’s wrong and is a waste of energy and speed. Of course there are other users here are telling have zero PN and that’s not correct. So as you are the person with such a power to judge how big ideas have everyone.   16. It is an updated proportional navigation as official source confirmed. All your analysis to try to change the concept of proportional navigation is worthless it is a PN. Is not working like so from the first moment the R-27T leave rail go exactly contrary direction without interception calculation so is not implemented and is making R-27T waste energy making extra large curve.

  19. For navigation input. I don’t see any navigation system ADF or Doppler instrument for input in front seat. So I guess for any Navigation correction in instrument we should ask for drive hold it to front seat operator and focus on the navigation settings.

  22. IRL depend of the mission they go with a combination of R-27R and R-73. In Syria they use this combination as there are not a real threat for Russian fighters. In DCS I have downed several times using a combination of long range missiles and terminating the bandit with R-73 on his face. Even when we still don’t get the R-27P and some others methods of missile navigation we still make some opposition. Just imagine with full equipment. Keep strong guys. Trolls are everywhere. Keep the faith up.
  23. The upgrade options for a passive modularity system like R-27T and brothers is unlimited regarding technology development. It is only limited by the design itself if someday become developed a more advance design in aerodynamic features.
