Statics on the Tarawa are now sitting 5 ft off the deck....Anti gravity suits are on AI also start off at a hover.... good news is they are actually doing a running take off instead of trying to launch vertically...... Good progress odd behaviour.... AI wont take off from Runway on Tarawa but will from Ramp. Hovering due to LHA mods. Remove and they are back on the deck.

nope not a dust cloud(which it does do). this is a light. Its like the glow on the ground dcs uses for fires. It flashes as the unit moved.

This is a glow happening on ground units moving cross country. At night they light up like a christmas tree. This happens when they move off road.

great to see the roadmap. Looking forward to some more love on the harrier. It still struggles to launch from the tarawa. Cant do a rolling start. Only wants to go vertical on take off. Needs to be able to do both. Also AI does a kooky transition on launch from vertical to horizontal flight. Like a sudden code change going from vertical flight to being shot out of a cannon in horizontal flight. Needs to be looked at.

Team any chance of doing a San Antonio class or Harper's Ferry/Whidbey Island class ships for the Marine MEU. We have LCAC, how bout a LCU as well. Would be the complete package :-)

How bout getting the AI AV8 to take off from the Tarawa. Wouldnt that be a core feature?

Sound interesting. All I need is a 15 button panel that I can lay into my 19 inch monitor Im golden. I already have the vid ported to the small monitor.

BluFin nice work on this. Are the MFD's separate graphics. That way we could use them on a 10 inch touch screen. Keep up the great work

When land or sea artillery is tasked to fire say 10 rounds, all 10 rounds are firing at once like a shotgun.

how do you control ship guns?

Taylor may be a problem with the mod and the current 2.5.1 build. When your aircraft spawns in its about 5 ft off the deck when it drops in thus collapsing the landing gear.

I thought the main complexity is not in Helios but in the export.lua that sits behind helios. I went through mine and Cpt Zeen made all sorts of updates in there to make it work. That is where I take a header. I looked at Ikarus and it only really works if you use a single monitor for the interface. We with Lilliput monitors cant use that.

ok so more discovery I have two lilliput monitors that are 800 by 600. To get the buttons on those screens I have to create a background layered image that is 1600 by 600, Map the MFD image layers onto this background, then lay it down as panel 1 in the configuration. then I can align buttons to the image. I still dont understand how to enter the DCS id into the switches though if I start from scratch. Whomever wrote this software should be able to give us a hint. And unfortunately Im not a good enough artist to come up with an image like that hat has transparency to the mfd image shows in the MFD.
