  1. so far this is working good. helos are launching from deck as expected.
  2. another quick note for the developers. When close to shore the essex will engage enemy vehicles with its Close In Defense system before the gun batteries engage. Fun to watch it spray ground targets with 20mm at 4km but doubtful if realistic. FYI. Also top speed wont go over 13knots. Should be at least 24
  3. Suntsag you are soooo close on this. Put a mission together with two Av8 flying CAS. They took off from the Tarawa about 50 miles off the coast. Flew into the combat zone dropped their bombs and flew all the way back to the ship. Did a couple of patterns to set up for landing around the Tarawa only to land in the sea next to the ship.... Keep up the good work. Really close
  4. Taylor dont know if this helps but get alot of errors in the logs about water line and gun placement

  7. does this function still work. Im trying to build a mission where the helos dont start the mission powering up. If I use this function, shouldnt the helo just be sitting there as mission starts? My syntax in my lua is local russlift1 = Group.getByName('Russairlft #001') trigger.action.setGroupAIOff(russlift1) right now if I use this the helo is powering up on mission start.

  14. Taylor ships look great. Helos take off nicely but will not land. AI Aircraft still lift off vertically. So close. Interesting find. AI helos will land on cruisers. Had a CH53 land on the back of the spruance.
  15. Furia If you place a start point 4 miles out and an end point on land will they make it all the way without stopping? Ive tested this several times and they wont do it without manual intervention.

  17. aav7 will not go more than 1 mile in the water before they just stop for no reason.
  18. Suntag - has anyone noticed that the lcac has limited range. If you place them say 4 miles off shore and have them head to the beach they will go for a will at 6 knots then stop. You can manually get them going again but they will run for a while then stop again.
  19. Units still get stuck navigating around buildings. they hit a corner and they are done for the mission
  20. Hopefully they will expand the modern line.. They still need to fix things though as units still get stuck near buildings.... all the time.
