I really hope its tomorrow
-
Thank you for the info Ron! it's really nice to learn a bit about how things work behind the scenes :-)

I will be a customer as soon as any of these are out, I will vote for the icon of the actual aircraft model and not a picture of the real aircraft (looks like the harrier is) also no text on them, the text is below anywhere for the aircraft model, maybe just their nicknames like harrier and eagle, the models look amazing so they should show mode on those icons. Just my 5 cents. :-)

I'd rather sept 19th :smilewink:

if you look closely on the top right corner, is that Nevada?

I assumed he meant it for those that have FC2 but deleted lockon after installing fc2, I'm really hoping we find out tomorrow :-D or at least before I spend all my money on the iPhone 5 lol

optimised settings for high end gpu's TESTED ON 680
neroroxxx replied to D3vastator's topic in Game Performance
Hey, would this work on an AMD card? This looks interesting for sure! -
I wish somebody like him or any other studio would bring an AI package to the DCS World, if they already have some of these birds modeled they could just make them DCSW compatible and sell a package that would overwrite the stock models, i know i would pay for the extra eye candy, the F-14 on DCSW right now doesn't look so good, same with the F-16 and many others, even those who will be flying the SU-27 on FC3 would get to fly inside this guy's model, it's impressive work.

I once came back from a campaign mission and realized i never put my gear up

Use the file on the first post of the link below http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=91765&page=2 That will fix the JTAC issue you are having with JTAC not answering fast enough or answering at all. The F10 menu on some missions is quiet simple, it's to contact other flights and ground forces or any other triggers of the mission, basically you see the flight name and the role, say you see on your RWR that a mig-29 is tracking you, you can then go to the F10 menu and select the CAP flight, the combat air patrol will then head over to its CAP station and see that MIG and engage for you, those flights are thereto help if you need them. You can do the same for the other flights, I usually call SEAD right away to engage the SAM sites so I don't get shot down right away, you can even call another CAS flight in case you are low on ammo. Just a pointer, make sure you call those allied flights in the respective freq, for example the Allied flights may be on 124.00 VHF AM, so make sure your VHF am radio is set to 124 and that you call it using the right mic switch. Another pointer, after you call call an F10 flight you may will hear that flights name say something like "Enflied11 pushing to waypoint 2 at 20,000" or so, that way you know they are on their way, always make sure you look at the flight's call sign so you know it got your message, I think you have to have the "allied flight reports" box choked Unser the options of DCSW. Hope that helps :-)

New user - which aircraft would you buy?
neroroxxx replied to Horrgakx's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
a-10c would be the best to start, the training videos will help a lot, the HOTAS layout is easy to understand and get used to, if you are used to flying american aircraft in other flight sims then i'd start with the a-10c then move into the ka-50 or p-51d :-) PS. you could also wait for Flaming Cliffs 3 to be released and start with that but if you want the full blow experience then start with a DCS aircraft. -
Hey guys, I've been playing the A-10C for a few months in single player and i'm really looking to start working on multiplayer. If there's anybody interested in flying together (new like me to multiplayer will be just fine) send me a PM, i'm in New York so if you are in the same time zone that would be even better but my schedule is pretty flexible so i can fly at almost any time. I honestly have no clue how to even get started on multiplayer but once i've found somebody to fly with i'll try and figure it out. Thanks! :-D

Im guessing there won't be but its just a guess unless theres a program to do it, maybe with the f-15 since it has a new cockpit, i really hope its possible :-)
-
Hey guys, i'm in the market for a touch screen, since i own a mac and i run bootcamp just for DCS World i've been waiting to see if i can find one that's mac compatible as well but it's getting hard to find one so i figured i'll get one that works on windows at least for DCSW, any recommendations? Thanks.

Clarifying what is needed to run FC 3
neroroxxx replied to Bluedrake42's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
FC3 requires LockOn not FC2, there are legal reasons why they have to require it. EDIT: Eddie beat me to it! :-) -
that sounds amazing! will it be the SU-25T cockpit? also do they feel like flying a heavy plane and behave like them? great work!
-
ahhh yeah i'm not so crazy about line 6 to be honest but then again they do get pretty close to the amp sound, i use plugins for my stuff online this one is with the waves GTR3 then the less metal and this one is the custom distortion live

I play in cover bands now so i haven't been working on originals as much, also since i'm a huge slash fan i cover a lot of his music on youtube
