Update about the A-400M crash: Finally it is know that from a crew of six, four were killed and two were badly wounded and rescued to a hospital, all spanish Airbus workers. The aircraft declared a emergency short after take-off and hit a power line tower at 1 mile from the runway while performing a emergency approach.

Sad news from Seville: Today at 1.00 PM an Airbus A-400M crash short after take off, killing all the crew. It was a normal test flight, and the eight crew were Airbus spanish workers. The info is a bit confusing at the moment, but seems that the aircraft had a loss of power just after the take off. Sorry for them and the families. Pics credit: Bomberos de Sevilla.

Late to the party, but this is a very good newsletter, for me at last, as it shows that ED has their goals set a long time ago and, step by step, they are getting there. Wich shows passion, determination, endurance and love for their work. I have a brand new rig waiting for DCS world 2, and I´m engrossed at the moment with the change I get from 16-24 FPS at med-low settings, to 70-80 at high settings, it is not just that I discovered the beauty of the sim, it is like discovering fly with the sim for the first time, the smooth of flying and, well, a lot of details. So take your time ED and give us a polished new World that plays smooth and nice and as impressive as the videos shows. Thanks for the news Wags.

It is clear that the info that offers is offered by another company and not ED, but the connection is quite obvious and the features that shows are quite impressive, so for me it is an indication of the quality of the future that DCS 2 will bring, maybe I´m wrong.... And it is good to feel DCS 2.0 behind the corner. It is gonna be a fantastic simulator with a very beautyful face..¡¡¡¡

After hollydays I gave the lesson one a try, and i´ve been quiete pleased. I speak spanish so I enjoyed the voiceovers, a lot of immersion to feel the instructor on the rear cockpit runing the check list, a 3D model of the instructor will be fantastic for this type of lessons. Also the deep explanation of the systems is awsome, so one can really undesrtand the functionality of all the switches. I hope that this first lesson will be soon follow by the second, the third,.... because it is a way to full the sim with all the study stuff we all love, and doing it in-game, the most practical and fun way for me. So congratulations and thanks to expand the C101 experience.

Maybe PFM implementation, maybe weapons tests... You can whisper it to me, it won´t leave this post.....

Oh yes, that will be a interestig bird to fly. Good news, seems that in short time the Spanish Air Force is gonna be one of the best represented one on DCS: Bf-109, F-86, C-101, Mirage F-1 and the mighty F-18, VEAO with the Typhoon...... anyone on the F-5B/T-38...? So good luck with this team, if the F-1 is as good as the Aviojet is gonna be a lot of fun, aim for a PFM release please.... PD to the team: You really fool me with that F-104 thing, you joker....

That, indeed, will be great. Since I like night time flying, love to scramble at 3 A.M. to intercept some night prowlers with my MIG-21, hope we´ll see it soon.
