  1. Please do! would be curios to know what program causes the conflict.
  2. Could this be related to the infamous RWR bug of being spiked upon recovery? Im getting it all the time even since 1.2.6 Also fake contacts bug..? Ive seen it happen in previous builds after a patch. Certainly something for the Devs to look at. Maybe something got broken.
  3. No kidding :joystick:
  4. Yeah I think ping will be a big factor as well. A dedicated server would be preferable. Honestly for those located in Asia makes it really tough with ping being more than 200 most of the time, at least when joining EU servers... The pipper is just..... nuts! Haha Отправлено с моего C5502 через Tapatalk
  5. I think the question isn't about not liking or liking the feature. Rather, it's about the ability to exploit it. I can say for certain, as it stands now, if I set it to enlarged, I can fly without ever turning my radar on... Any realistic environment and modern BVR oriented server such as 51st, 104th, etc. should prohibit this feature, no question. Отправлено с моего C5502 через Tapatalk
  6. Just a thought guys. But with all the issues in current build, wouldn't it be wiser to have any official event once the release version is out? I think ED realized this very well and postponed M vs S... Отправлено с моего C5502 через Tapatalk
  7. Certainly not GPU related. Both X-Man and thamuff have completely different hardware specs. ATI vs NVIDIA win 7 vs win10 etc. So this has got to be some sort of software conflict or missing shared dll issue...
  8. Jets are running nominal, always. But thanks. No harm intended. I'd be curious to know though what has been adjusted. Anyone got an idea?
  9. Cool discussion chaps, but the main questions that really need answering are the following: Who is responsible for missile and CM effectiveness testing, making adjustments etc.? What were the parameters changed from the previous patch? Why were they changed and what is the logic behind it, especially if things for radar missiles looked pretty good in previous patch? Why backtrack again? Why on earth was the change NOT Logged, and who is the scrappy tester that failed to report this in the log? -- for any software developer this would be a cardinal sin. Everything else is just an opinionated fanboy discussion, IMO.
  10. Guys, you need to get someone from the Devs to troubleshoot this... Sounds like a dead end at the moment.
  11. In any case, does anyone know what parameters were adjusted relative to the last patch? Отправлено с моего C5502 через Tapatalk
  12. It's actually extremely effective. Even against ARH missiles. The key is to drop speed down to under 650 or so. Bank slightly into the incoming threat to maintain proper aspect and chaff. You will notice everything just flying by... This is great as a last ditch defensive maneuver to buy some crucial time. But limited given your unable to put any pressure on the bandit. 13. +1 been there done that since LOMAC 03. The environment hasn't changed much, nor are the tactics of "lone wolfs". Clearly the discussion is going off track with the "my tactics are better than yours nonsense". Fact of the matter is, in all things being equal, at the merge WVR situation, the 15 is much more potent because unlike what Blaze stated, firing an ER won't result in a mutual kill, it will miss 90% if there is chaff in the air. In the previous patch though, Blazes statement would have been true though... [emoji4] So the question is, why pork ERs to oblivion again?! Who suggested this, and by what reasoning? 14. Blaze, I think you are overestimating the WVR capabilities of the Flanker. Yes, the F15 needs to get closer, however this is where it actually has the advantage, believe it or not. Let me explain why: 1. Currently all IR missiles are competently useless and track anything but the target. Go for the first flare, moon, ground, your own etc. 2. Flanker relies primarily on IR missiles once we close to less than 10km. So because of point #1 even by getting close you're forced to basically go guns as most missiles will simply miss, unless of course the bandit does not see you. 3. On the contrary, F15 with 120 at that range is super deadly. You need seriously experienced pilot to dodge those slammers in NEZ. 4. On top of that, major advantage is all 15s missiles are smokeless! This is huge IMO, makes the aim 9 way better than 73, IMO. So no, your hypothesis is however logical on paper, is totally wrong in practice. Отправлено с моего C5502 через Tapatalk
  15. Honestly there are plenty of "flat" areas of the map that can be used, and would at least feel like your flying in a real world, not in some 2d space like the mission feels now.
  16. I think on the contrary. Previously, everything in the log is what you would get... Now it's like "a list of small changes and improvements" Also patch logs are edited and competently changed after the release! Отправлено с моего C5502 через Tapatalk
  17. I think the issue raised here is why are the Devs constantly changing game vital performance parameters and dynamics and not even logging them?! As of late, the so called patch logs are rather more like release notes. Extremely sloppy on the part of the Devs, or for any company tracking their product. A log should be a full detailed log on changes, otherwise how does one keep progress on Beta testing? All this leads me to the simple question, who are the internal testers responsible for missiles and etc? They seem to decide whatever they want from patch to patch, and don't even have the discipline to log or justify their so called "adjustments" .... Отправлено с моего C5502 через Tapatalk
  18. I know how you feel dude. I'm on 8gb myself. The memory leak is just killing it at the moment... Отправлено с моего C5502 через Tapatalk
  19. The ERs at least were reasonable before the patch... Why screw them again!? Instead better to fix IRs and tune ARHs a bit and we're perfect... Отправлено с моего C5502 через Tapatalk
  20. Of course not Blaze. You are absolutely right. I think the question though isn't about the kinematics and physics. They are certainly way better than FC1 days, and I hope it stays that way. The problem is rather with tracking and CM rejection, or rather a complete lack of for SARH and IR missiles. In general I'd say CMs are easily 2-300% more effective than in FC1 for those types of missiles. As for actives, their biggest downfall is just the lack of legs and too much maneuvering drag. I think all missiles need some serious love. Отправлено с моего C5502 через Tapatalk
  21. The current visibility enlargement is quite a joke and should, IMO be banned from any MP flight. Effectively you are seeing flying Kuznetsovs from million miles away. On the ground, units look like warehouses (even civ traffic is affected). The previous patch with Large setting was done just right, IMO. The current one is beyond comical, it's not even funny. 22. Couldn't agree more. But honestly, why break the ER again! Previous patch after the hotfix it was at least reasonable. It was still pretty crap, still lost track in the notch, still went for chaff. But now, it just looks for the first chaff to go to. It's ridiculous! Отправлено с моего C5502 через Tapatalk
  23. Could this also be related to some sort of Windows user access issue? Shared dll not loading, etc... ? Any suggestion would be welcome Отправлено с моего C5502 через Tapatalk
  24. Does anyone have any suggestions? At least an idea from the Devs what could be causing this? Any workaround?
  25. Any word from the Devs on what might be causing this crazy issue?
