  1. Did that. Lost one activation per module.
  2. Same here. Lost one activation for every module after this update. Not funny. And yes, I guess we all followed the procedure.
  3. I simply mapped "Toggle Gear" and "Silence Horn" to the same joystick button ;)
  4. Really cool. So many fixes and improvements. Thanks for the hard work!
  5. Was there ever an era without combat?
  6. I guess we all know, that stickies are less attractive than a 24 pages discussion. And I guess we all are guilty to not read every post in such a thread. I surely don't envy you for the job, Viper. Still, and that was my point: It's the tone that makes the music. And maybe some of the posters I was referring to, had better posted just a copy of that sticky instead of disassemble and contradicting every sentence in a hasty "bugreport". At least IMHO this doesn't really add to deescallation. And IMHO the issue is volatile enough. Remember, most of the posters here seem to just come from a crashed session or disconnect.
  7. Nitpicking. For the user, it doesn't make the slightes difference, if the MasterServer is causing the problem, a bug in receiving the client-list or a corroded network-plug: We can't change or fix the problem! So these "YOU'RE WRONG, WE KNOW BETTER"-posts from testers or mods doesn't help anybody. It's received as lecturing, by many users, as you can easily see over the last 10 pages. Fact is: There is a big problem. We can't fix it. So you have to fix it. (Yes, I know it's already been fixed, but that honestly doesn't let us connect any better either.)
  8. So you say the next aircraft is not being worked on for at least several months? And wouldn't that again mean that it's not announced, because it is still that far down the line? From a customers point of view.
  9. Started in a shelter and forgot to enable NWS, which was stuck 45° left... :music_whistling:
  10. Bricks

    Is it out yet?

    Cool. A broad-band brain-scrambler.
  11. Bricks

    Is it out yet?

    :shifty:
  12. Thanks for the info :)
  13. Thanks, Speed, for the insight. However, for us mortals it doesn't matter if the server is down or not reachable by the software we bought, if the effect is largely the same. Anyway, I'm glad this problem apparently seems to be solved in the next patch, waiting to be released. That's all that matters to me.
  14. Same here. Technics HiFi-Headset with excellent sound connected to an amplifier. I attached a 5 € mike to it to make it the best mix for half the price of the Sennheiser 360 GAME.
  15. 2 hunters walk through the forest. Suddenly one of them grabs his chest, slumps down to the floor and remains trembling on the ground. The second hunter panics a moment, then kneels down to check for livesigns - no pulse. So he grabs his cellphone and calls 911. "Hello, can you hear me? My friend just collapsed. I think he's dead." "Ok, now don't panic. I'm with you, I'll talk you through." "Ok. What do you want me to do?" "First, you need to assure yourself, that he's really dead." A loud bang shatters through the phone. "Ok, what's next?"
  16. :megalol: Nice!
  17. Funny. :noexpression: We receive so much bashing and mocking from mainstream-gamers for our nerdy hobby as hardcore simulation-fans. And yet the only thing we can do, if somebody posts an interest in a different simulation-area is to bash and mock him?
  18. It's dependent on the server. I played for hours on a US-server but lost connection on any STP-Server I tried to join.
  19. Question is, whom to believe. ;) And that is exactly my point. As I posted before, I'm all for preserving nature in ANY regard. But I don't trust either side. And this blind witch hunt we see on media and also in this thread on anybody raising a thought about "given facts" quoted from Wikipedia and random sites is the most immediate reason why I feel this way. I know I do what I can, I support anybody working for preserving nature, but I hate these half-true-headlines in mass media and out of principle I will always be more sceptical to the largest headlines.
  20. Very true. But this statement is related to any aspect of life. ;)
  21. I'm not saying the ice doesn't melt. But mankind won't die because of a sealevel rising 3 meters. If at all, they will because they fight over territories... Earth always changed, just as life does every day. It's our own mindset that thinks we can just go on like we used to do it and things shall always be the same. Sadly, this is true for natural changes and human made changes as well.
  22. Please note, that "Lowest level on record" means "Lowest for the last 80 years." Observation of the ice-mass on earth's polar caps started 1930 on an irregular basis by fishermen, 1950 on a regular scientific observation. In the middle ages (between 800 and 1300 A.D.) temperatures in the northern hemisphere were 3-7° C warmer than today. Why you think the now ice-covered land between Canada and Iceland is called Greenland? Don't get me wrong. I'm all for preserving nature and reducing CO2 emissions and stuff. But I hate this panic-making as it's just another way to get clicks and sell newspapers.
  23. Annoying show stopper for a vital part of the game. I sure hope they're going to get this bug hammered down, soon.
  24. Nice idea and well done.
  25. Same here. Can't even startup the A-10 before getting disconnected.
