  1. With the commercially available programs to see speculated aerodynamics such as MatLab and/or Simulink, this project could be made. Of course the FM data would be derived from those programs' tests, but it's better than nothing. As others said though, finding competent aerospace engineers that do programming are rare in the gaming-flight sim genre. Where more profit can be had at top tier aerospace companies.
  2. Indeed, but newer Max takes advantage of latest hardware tech. Sometimes 2014/16/17 gets so sluggish with 1,500,000 tri-count and more , it's un-usable. 2019+ can handle the instructions much better. And with larger textures. As graphics cards get better, so does the art....and the Art departments are constantly innovating as hardware becomes better suited. Personally, I dont mind an upgraded plugin every 2-3 years, but it's time for a new one for sure.....before our old files become corrupt. At least for 3rd parties.

  4. Delfin887 is using his own experience to develop the FM and have proven to ED time and time with graphs. The recent UFO-FM data collected from openBeta users, helped him make it better in new patch. (it was no mistake to release UFO-FM...it was test) The MiG-21Bis created for DCS is an exported version. It is thought, true information about flight dynamics and radar in documents supplied to exported countries are untrue. To keep Soviet secrets getting into American hands. Delfin887 has told ED of this, and compromises were made. Also, we recently came across information that true Russian RP-22 SM is better than exported RP-22 SMA. So we try to find documents now. )) I'm just an artist, I can't debate any points here. Just passing friendly information.

Yes that's correct, Phase 1 corrections line up , but the Phase 1 Internal is not ready for release due to some animation errors and RoughMets / Lights needing adjustments since the release of 2.5.6. It's still the old cockpit, just fitted. Next patch will be the cockpit still in use, unfitted. Phase 2, is complete new mesh/textures of external/internal

Cockpit is still WIP pending canopy animation issues. Phase 2: complete new 3d/textures for the external and cockpit. Phase 1, are basically band-aides, until Phase 2 is release. And no, there is no estimated time yet. The patch released today is just a hotfix for the Super Carrier and anything ED module related.

  22. GumidekCZ, It's ok, I never requested your help anyways. You don't have to waste your time on my watch. I hadn't plan on updating the drop tanks until you pointed out the wrong size, and then offered to update it. I never asked, you offered. Unfortunately it wasn't a priority, because it doesn't break the game play. It's just visual. Bickering aside, I'm truely, thankful to SVKSniper and you for providing the 490L mesh. I asked SVKSiper about the newe mesh. He kindly sent a link along with reference photos. At the same time, I managed to find the correct max file on my SSD, I just happen to confuse an old file with the new one. I corrected the shape a bit more, re-uv'd it, and retextured it without your help. Thanks again.:thumbup:
