Norway is one of the richest countries in the world. Their public debt is not a problem. Norway has much higher revenue than expense. US and UK public debt per capita might look smaller than that of Norway but their economy is still in big trouble. GDP and public dept is not enough to compare economic power. One has to see the big picture. The US has almost twice as high spending compared to their revenue. Norway is the opposite, with much higher revenue than expense. Norway will be the last country to fall if that ever happens.

Found some questionable sources stating that the Airframe can take 12G's. I also found a reliable source stating that the 39 can go from 1G to 9G in less than one second. Sounds scary :)

It depends on the fuel quantity and external loads but I am sure it can handle way more than 9G's without any external loads. The 39's in service today has Manoeuver Load Limiter that varies with the loadout. It also has an alpha limit around 50 degrees but when it was developed it was tested all the way to 110 degrees while retaining controllability.

Swedish website "NyTeknik" has written an article that reveals several future plans for the Swedish multirole fighter JAS-39 Gripen. The one that catches the eye most is the plans for an unmanned version of the next generation version JAS-39. The article states that this will not be a regular UAV in todays sense, but a full blown multi role figher without a pilot. If this becomes reallity, the Swedish air force will replace it's current fleet of JAS-39 by 2030 and will then operate both manned and unmanned versions of the new generation JAS-39. Interesting stuff? :smartass:

It's hard to pinpoint the range of the 58 becouse it depends heavily on the altitude of the launcing platform.

I'm sure the performance of the ground units is going to be tweaked in future realeases. I would not be suprised if we will se the M1A2 in the game too. You have already seen the screenshots on the T-90 so they are clearly developing new ground units.

These guys will fly the Jas-39C/D Gripen soon. :D

Thanks for the reply :thumbup: I'm no armor expert so i might be wrong but I can't see how any of these points favour the M1 against the T80U. The M1 cannot penetrate the T80U frontal armor either. The T80U has similiar gun stabilization too with ballistics computation. Etc... Did read a little about "Battle of 73 Easting". It's interesting but I don't see how it's relevant. Also, everything written on that seem to be from the western point of view.

Whops! Sorry, you are right. I'm confused today. But you should be able to recreate this. Use mission editor. Add a patriot site and a SU-30 SEAD flight armed with KH-59M. Just sit there and watch while the AI engage the patriot. Your sim should crash at the first missile impact. This is not a one time thing. I have tried several times. It crashes every time.
