  1. Thanks, I was aware of the Autopilot "fix" and had applied it.. Autostart however is broken. Concerns me that your Autostart is functional. I'm trying Autostart in the Cold Start quick mission. Can you verify that Autostart is working for you in that mission? Thanks.
  2. The Autostart (LWin + Home) is apparently broken after the 1.2.10 update. The sequence runs through the APU start and then indicates "Autostart Stopped" or something similar. I read that the Autopilot is also malfunctioning after the update. Anyone have a handle on workarounds or fixes? Thanks.
  3. Way to go Belsimtek and ED
  4. Yeah but I've never seen them release on a weekend. :smilewink:
  5. We've got an announcement by the DCS Producer (Wags) that the F-86 and A.I. MIG 15 will arrive in July. I guess it's possible he's misrepresenting or doesn't know the facts but I've never seen that in the past. We've got 7 business days remaining in the month. I'll go with what we've been told until they demonstrate otherwise. Just hard-headed I guess.
  6. New Bonus Plan Questions I have 6 products, all of which were purchased prior to Feb. 2014 and all of which are listed in the "Orders" section of My Account. I don't see anything that would enable me registering these orders under Personal as the new bonus plan requires. Also, my bonus points are $0.00 as currently listed. ??
  7. Thanks for the info guys. I was going a little bit crazy looking for the link/button.
  8. I must be missing something. I can access my information on the Backer page by using this link: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.co...rsonal/backer/ ) However, when I try to access my information by clicking the Personal button on the DCS main page, my backer information does not display.. only my Account Information. How to you navigate to the Backer information off the DCS main page? Thanks.
  9. Thanks Wags. I'm a happy camper!
  10. Confused. I'm a $40 Backer and I currently license the P-51D. I don't need or want a second P-51D key code. I'm assuming that my current P-51 key code will enable the aircraft in DCS WW2. Is that a correct assumption? If so, then my backer "reward" is the Dora and the Normandy map. Did DCS consider those backers who currently "own" a P-51 key in the revised scheme? Not unhappy, just confused.
  11. Yes, I imagine the KS "herd" and management thereof is a big monkey on their back. We'll see how they manage it. Thanks.
  12. Thanks for the response. Do you think they'll have it worked out and announced when the Dora is released?
  13. I'm a backer for the (now) DCS WWII Project. I recall that the FW-190 was one of the aircraft "rewards" for backing WWII on Kickstarter. So, how's this going to work for "Backers" when the Dora is released? Are we going to receive Keys somehow and then download the Dora via module manager? Thanks.
  14. Wags, Thanks for the update. Can't say I'm surprised by the news but it is disappointing. We probably can only speculate as to the reason RRG "folded". I'm again reminded of the CloD situation. Anyhow, let's move on.
  15. I share your uneasiness. I can't shake the CloD experience, perhaps unfairly. Regarding the P-38, I'd love to see it in DCS, either developed by RRG or a 3rd party otherwise. The P-38 had it's share of kills in Europe and kicked ass in the Pacific. Alas, one can only hope.
  16. I don't think you can buy the Warthog stick as a standalone. At least I've never seen the stick only on sale anywhere. Try a little Velcro on the bottom of the Throttle plate. That's what I use to keep it in place. Works like a champ.
  17. I don't know where that download came from but the download zip file does not contain the .lua and .miz files for the Startup training mission ( or any mission that I can see).
  18. Ram0506, Thanks for the sanity check
  19. Clarification of Reward I pledged $40 in the original KS campaign, before the gyrations began with the award revisions. I already own a license for the DCS P-51. My understanding of the rewards I'm due is as follows: Spitfire, ME-109, FW-190, P-47 and the ME-262. Am I correct? Thanks.
  20. The Quickstart missions for the P-51D were apparently updated by "Update 2". No mention of P-51D changes in the Changelog above. What was the reason for the update and are there other changes in Update 2 that did not make the Changelog?
  21. I'd give my right nut to see the Sabre and MIG in DCS. Add the A-26 to the CAS aircraft in the list above and while we're at it, go for broke with the B-29 :D
  22. Humvee, Thanks but a question; The x64 D/L package link that you included in your post includes a SweetFX folder and a folder that contains the x64 DLL's you state should be installed to the Bin folder. When I copied the x64 DLL's into the Bin folder, my game crashed at start-up (before the GUI screen loaded). Did you use the SweetFX folder that was in the "x64" D/L or did you install SweetFX from another D/L source? The x32 SweetFX D/L contains files that are not in the x64 D/L package, that's why I ask. Update: Ok, got it sorted. Used the x64 SweetFX package with the x64 DLL's copied to Bin. Works like a champ.
  23. Interesting. The D/L of SweetFX V 1.4 from Guru3D did not include the x64 DLL's. I D/L'ed the x64 package from the link HumVee included in his Revised Textures for DCS World package. Where did you get your D/L of the x64 SweetFX package? Thanks. Update: Found the x64 d/l for SweetFx on Guru3d. The x64 D/L package does not include all the files that are in the x32 package. There are no installation instructions in the x64 package. Leads me to believe that the X64 package either installs over the x32 bit package or the x64 bit package is incomplete. Any ideas?
  24. I installed the x32 version (1.4) d/l from the author's site on Guru3d. That's what's running now on my Win 7 x64 system. It looks to me that the x64 version is the same as the x32 version with the exception of the 2 DLL files that were included in the "64 Bit" folder but I can't be sure of that. When I copied the x64 bit DLL's into the Bin folder (as instructed by the x64 Readme), the game crashed at start-up. I deleted all SweetFX files at that point and re-installed the x32 version. Game then ran fine. Question at this point is the x32 version working? I'll have to split the screen and try to determine. All this with the texture mods implemented and HumVee's Sweetfx settings.
  25. Update: Tried the x64 DLL's and they crashed the game at start-up. Went back to the x32 DLL's and game runs fine.
