  1. First come the super sonic bullets, then you hear the the sound of the gun itself
  2. People who run the Internet have called. They say it's overloaded, and ask you to stop.
  3. It's not like they turned on the radar and RWR together for the first time in '99. And while radar might give false indication (but I doubt it does... maybe on way older RWR), there's no way that it will introduce a RWR failure!
  4. Yeah, when F-4s didn't need engines to be put in them.. they needed an airplane put in them :P
  5. Hmmm... seams I can have this running on my laptop as a server, offloading CPU usage, and just run the client on game PC. I'll have to give that a try :)
  6. And I've sean same claims for Su-27
  7. You will get a change from beep beep beep to beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep when the radar goes from search to lock (just like in LO), and you will get an additional change in pitch when the signal strenght goes above threshold.
  8. That is my point. Unleass you are a direct whitness, it doesn't matter. You would still only be told the official version, just like the rest of us, plus maybe some hear-say. Now, I might be in the wrong here, but the official version of this event was changed since the document leak, and it seams to me you guys just didn't catch that. Now if you ask about about my experience in a theater of opperation, it is my experience that NATO likes to stick to the least painfull version of an event, until pushed by evidence to do otherwise. "Engine trouble" anyone? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=orv8-siraJM
  9. Ok.. I swore I wouldn't, but since someone brought back GTA, just have to... :D
  10. The supposed sensor superiority of the Super Hornet is of a totally different order than the supposed missile superiority :)
  11. Any time I look one of those Su-25 cockpit videos I'm impressed at how good things actully look in LockOn. In F4.. if it was any worse, I would thing it was a CLI :D /runs for the fire suit/ :D
  12. It actually reads Mach 18, but 8 and ) was interpreted as the 8) smiley by the forum ;)
  13. Pod jammers are interfaced with the radar to avoid one degrading the other (in regimes that they 'care' about each other). That isn't something you need AESA for. Oh, and good luck jamming behind you with the radar :)
  14. Or at least you can hope that his RWR isn't reprogramed and that above is true.
  15. K-13? On Su-30?
  16. So, you were on site on May 30, when that CH-47 was downed? And you have information that contradicts the now-official 'crap'?
  17. It's not that it matters if he has flown it once or twice. Just like that pilot in the now closed topic where he "reviewed" the MiG-29, but didn't have a slightest clue how it was suposed to be flown.
  18. manual line-of-sight guidance
  19. Arming NEVA, deploying KUB. Take notice of the guy standing in front of the KUB launcher and what he's doing :)
  20. “In God we trust; all others must bring data.”
  21. WINE - Windows Is Not Escapable :D
  22. one thing people tend to forget when talking about these things is that combating them is also a process that has its cost
  23. Yeah, my friend asked me the other day if I had any ideas for a project she needs to do for a class.. it has to have some sensors and some actuators. She didn't like my idea that much :D
