I wind the throttle all the way to idle and then turn off the fuel once the engine has reached idle, then I turn off all the rest in the reverse order from startup. Not sure if that's the proper way to do it. Seems to do the job.

It's fast and it has more of a warship style 'bridge' than a cockpit, great visibility. Aesthetics are personal taste of course, I think it looks pretty good for a helicopter of its size. Pretty good choice I think, especially since it gets us a wee bit closer to an Mi-24

I think maybe one day we'll see more realistic G related effects and oxygen deprivation effects, not sure if I would expect much beyond that. Good idea though, it would certainly be a first for combat flight simulation

Real life aircraft need practice and study to fly (well).. A simulated aircraft's job is to be as close to the real aircraft as possible.. Therefore a well simulated aircraft needs practice and study to fly (well).. Giving a simulation product a negative review because it needs practice and study to use is a level of barmy quite beyond my understanding. I think that the negative review was actually not caused by it needing practice and study to fly but rather because froogle feels that the flight model is incomplete or inaccurate. The data from Sundowner.pl seems to support that, which is ok, it's beta. That is the extent of the entire argument from my perspective.

I happen to think that a series of WWII vehicles, ships and weapons would lend the authenticity that the P-51 and future WWII modules really need. I think it's really quite a good idea and that naysayers are just critical for the sake of being critical.

Yeah. I just pray that razbam know what parameters the Harrier should have to make an accurate FM. And then systems and avionics are a whole other matter.. I tend to be cynical about these things since a lot of documentation isn't available to non-military personnel.

I think it would be quite interesting to have that modeled in a simulation even if it's not done very often IRL. In what kind of situation would an F-15E fly without the CFTs? What sort of effect to they have on the flight envelope? I hope I'm not being too pressing or anything.

Is it true that you can remove the CFTs on an F-15E so it doesn't necessarily need to be heavier?

This is ridiculous, in many countries debit cards simply don't exist and credit cards charge interest. Prepaid cards have transaction fees that can be more than the value of the transaction itself! I'm sure it's simply an issue with the website rather than a conscious decision by ED but this is a pretty large issue for a lot of people in mainland Europe.
