  1. again thx for these useful addition to DCS VR i do not complete understand which value i have to alter to enlarge the highlight/popout are for the vrk. the focus area for making it popout seems quite small can i somehow enlarge it so it becomes big earlier, that i do not have to look at it directly straight? many thx
  2. disregard found it, i have to edit the saved preferences manually via a notepad app
  3. Hi AMVI_Rider outstanding project, trying it at the moment but having trouble to set the tablets rotation. using standalone with a wacom intuos S, i am in wintab pen mode but cant change the tablet rotation , as i use the tablet 90° rotated on my left leg it should draw lines as id do in RL , but it doesn t . whatever tbalet rotation value i set its always like i hav to use the tablet in wide mode not portrait , sorry if this is not understandable thx for help
  4. thx, hope to find some time again to finish it, atm i am considering publishing the files as they are i do not own the warthog grip, unfortunately i bought the vkb gunfighter grip mk1 which got changed to mk2 with the release of their modern combat grip. if i would have made a new grip for it i would have used just another MCG for the electronics and buttons. but a MK1 grip is not avbl in europe anymore, so no plans on that at the moment
  5. here i show the connection to the HOTAS, as requested, blue73 was so kind to allow me to use his idea here as well, check out his fantastic 3d printed F18 cockpit
  6. printed parts arrived and do fit really well
  7. cool Miles, this will make the entry into the PCtrl experience less frustrating and time consuming. another big milestone at your project, hats off
  8. i do use an INDEX and a RIFT CV1 in VR. when i changed to the INDEX i recognized that there is a vertically mouse cursor limitation built into DCS in VR. On the RIFT it was nearly not noticeable but with the INDEX its very present now. horizontally there is no cursor limitation at all. i hope this is readable?! and understandable u can see this when trying to use switches at there very lower part of your fov eg where the cursor hits an invisible boundary. is there a way or workaround to get rid of this limitation? or BUG
  9. did some tetsting with progressive higher resolution, lower resolutions and changed aspect ratios. with no conclusion or change within the INDEX at all. your argument sounds logical regarding not seeing the whole panel in VR so this shouldn t be an issue. tested this on my old rift cv1 as well where this vertical mouse limitation was also noticeable but not as big as in the index with better fov because its affecting the mouse the same way and is present on both headsets i would say this is a DCS limitation or bug?!
  10. interesting, with the mouse i can t use , i would say 15% of the far upper and lower area in DCS, this applys to mouse and PCtrl the same, do you think thats because of any missetting in DCS or just because of the increased FOV the INDEX provides compared to my old RIFT? when i recalibrate i can provide a wider fov in PCtrl than in the index but regarding height i am limited at the top and bottom area 15% prior reaching the INDEXs fov, HONESTLY, thats still enough but just not the full FOV of the headset u remember when i had troubles with the extended desktop when using the rift? with the INdex its not an extended desktop anymore, it shows just the monitor under display settings which has just 2560x1440 maybe that 1440 are the limiting factor now
  11. sorry , not yet, but i can do one for you as soon as i find some time for
  12. i would vote for 7 , and a wider field of view in regard to up and down bcause its hard to reach the lower back switches at the moment, plus smaller fcu s
  13. u re welcome, good idea regarding the bearing i will consider this when revisiting the design
  14. the right side is nearly finished, was a bit more complicated there. as expected. i will try to get some quotes for getting those parts printed out by a professional service, lets see how much they request for multijetfusion nylon quality.
  15. u should might consider doing a collective order to get better quotes from the print services, i would guess, in really good quality, u might end with about 100€ approx or maybe a little cheaper
  16. shapeways seems to be an expensive option here. , i most likely will do a rework of the rdr elevation mods housing this winter for a more professional fit i, myself will remain on the drill version because of the better look and stability jfyi
  17. just showing a new iteration without the need to void warranty .
  18. +1 as this is already working in the popular VR SHADER MOD it should not be too difficult to implement it natively
  19. its absolutely worth it, if u are good in electronics or do have a 3d printer i suggest to make one yourself as commercial ones are overpriced. RC_Pilot did one on thingiverse, and there are lots of others avbl https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3759480
  20. hi DERacing, what stops your wheel from pushing the switches? I used the switches laying around in my electronics box so it might be 4.5 or 5 switches but that should not matter. I will check the files, in the meantime u can trim the federschieber. stl a bit or sand the noses on the wheel if those are blocking.
  21. i thought about using a poti but than the recentering would be pretty useless and it won t operate close to the real thing
  22. they fit quite well, u re right to keep em in place i added a drop of ca glue
