  1. This bad boy was my favorite: :)
  2. Excellent site  Shame it is only for the US :( Great for DCS: A-10C training though :)
  3. Hadn't seen those SSs before, so thanks
  4. All the best Matt
  5. Check out Wags' sig - you may get a good idea of what rig he is using ;)
  6. I like how the control column wobbles as the left engine spools up. Detail!! :D For WIP it's looking great so far, good job Matt
  7. Thanks Chukk, looks like it would be possible then. I'll have to read in to lua scripts and see if it is compatiable with Simkits SDK.
  8. Does anyone know if anything has already been written to allow data to be exported to the Simkits USB guages? http://www.simkits.com/products.php?groupid=54 Thinking of getting some for FSX and it would be a bonus if they worked in BS without having to do any programming. (Would also be interested if they work in Falcon/LOFC...) .
  9. Sorry Moose, it did the trick - thanks :) However, I reinstalled the sound driver afterwards and it seems to be working with surround sound again.
  10. I agree. I went through all this when I set up Flight Sim X (whilst waiting for BS ;)) and Vista proved to be much better for processor intensive games. I found the 64-bit version was much better in FSX and prevented BSODs and OOM (out of memory) problems. As for BS, no problems so far using Vista64.
  11. All the sliders are maxed out and I have all the boxes checked on the audio page, so I'm guessing it's a soud card setting/problem. I tried courier.miz and I get sound, just not the voice over. I'll let you know how I get on... ,
  12. Just installed the English version on my PC and everything seems to be ok, except for there is no voice-over on the training missions/tracks. I originally download it on my laptop and installed it on that to check the integrity of the download. The training voice-overs seemed to work fine on that (didn't have to mess with any settings). Is this a sound setting thing or a BS thing? I'm reluctant to do another install for obvious reasons :smilewink: ,
  13. Actually, with the new firmware update for the digital edition, I think it may just be possible with dual-link DVI (@57Hz), but I'd check before you buy just to make sure. I agree that widescreens are better that lots of 15". That stack of 15" monitors looks ugly imho. Hmmm, maybe the Matrox TripleHead2Go DE will be on my xmas list too ;) .
  14. Not if you want 1680x1050! :)
  15. I agree here, reducing it from four doublesides of A5 to say two would be better, but may be impossible. The less paper floating around the pit the better! ;) Just a thought, not a critisism :)
  16. Yep, A5 would be much better, and split it into two sheets max. Or one sheet of A4, landscape, so that you can fold it down the middle. That way you can print it off so that you have text on both sides. Leave out the cyrillic, it's not really needed (or have two versions). I often get checklists laminated so that they last longer... One double sided sheet of A5 is better than several large A4 sheets imho. HTH! :)
  17. Ditto here
  18. Yep, same here  .
  19. Thanks for the update on this EB  I hope you guys can get a hard copy sorted out. It is something I'll definitely be buying if/when it becomes available.

  21. Result! :) Thanks ED...
  22. Glad to hear you've got a copy up and running mate. And you are right, it's pretty damn awesome :) As for your APU problem, it's a bit of strange one. I've been following Wags' ramp start video and it works a treat. Have you got any buttons mapped on your joystick that may be inadvertently switching something off when you're starting up?
  23. *Translated* English manual :smilewink: .
