Yes, the reflections make things very difficult when trying to keep your eye on someone. Spotting is hard enough in DCS, no need to make it more difficult with dirty cockpits and reflections. Hopefully someone will come out with a mod soon. :)

Is there anything we have to do in the cockpit at start up to make sure the plane is drawing fuel from any drop tanks we have?

Are you using any sound mods? If so disable them.

How much more ammo do you give it? I tested the thing the other night and we get 15 seconds of ammo with all guns firing. That would equal 1800 rounds in the jet as it is which is historical.

Yes we do! Check out this thread, it explains what we basically do. It looks more involved then it is, we are not a very intense, do what we do or else, squad. Setting up the whisper channels is a piece of cake and we can walk you through it once you get on TS. First you must create a folder in the liveries folder called 'F-86F Sabre' Make sure you use it just like I have it here. If need be copy my text and paste it when you create the new folder. After you have that, just drop in the skin folders you want. In the game they will be listed where they are supposed to be. Also, make sure you have the right country. If you are flying a USA ac you won't see some skins intended for a different country. You must select the country you want to use.

Nullsys, Also Bull should mention about his mod for making the sabre gun rate more lethal and historical. And, I find it better to shoot their wings off, you can shoot them forever in the fuselage and get no kills.

Also, you may want to mess with your joystick curves to see what works best for you. I had my pitch set to 32 but that didn't work at all for me as I didn't have enough control when the plane was at the edge of stalling. Now I use a curve of 20 and I have a lot more control at the edge. In other words I have more stick to use when I feel it start to shake.

The biggest difference is to get a clean cockpit glass from the 'dirty cockpit' mod. It has helped me a lot.

Yes, some cool stuff tonight. Which terrain mod are you using. I was able to find the cockpit glass mod (helps big time with keeping a tally on bandits!).

Yes, they do indeed help. I've been using your settings since I found it. No problems here using toe brakes now.

Yea, don't use the brakes to early. They also say to raise the flaps immediately to help slow down.

After reinstalling them one by one, the only one that I have that messes up the taxi sound is the 109 k sound mod. I'll just have to remember to load it when I fly the 109 because that sound mod is awesome.

Uninstalled all my sound mods and it is now fixed!! Not sure exactly which one was causing the issue put I think it was the Su-27 sound mod I had loaded.

Awesome, sounds good. That's the label mod I use, best one I've seen so far. Yes, hopefully we'll get a cleaner canopy or something to help with spotting. Fixed my taxi problem, seems it was one of the sound mods I had, I think the Su-27 one.

Got the files will install. Have you thought about using a label mod? There's a few really good ones out there.
