  1. This is a ton of fun and with practice will help formation flying for sure. The 25 ft. bubble was like flying NASCAR, chipping paint. What a blast though last night. :) At 60ft this will seem like a walk in the park!!
  2. Bull, Do you think there is any way to add turns to this with the lead letting the wingman know just before the turn via a trigger zone or something?
  3. Skull, All you have to do is turn on the radio and tune the Wave to the correct setting in the: RSI-6M1 receiver controls (see post #5 of this thread). The other devises will tune automatically to the same Wave number. You do not have to do anything else.
  4. Hey Galm, I'm game! I have the MiG and would love to give her more of a workout.
  5. Then a lot of servers must have the no gun-smoke thing going cause I don't have any problems. :smilewink:
  6. What do you mean?
  7. I think the MiG AI damage model really needs to be fixed or updated to some kind of realistic standard. It just takes way to much ammo to kill these things. In fact unless you shoot their wings off they just don't die.
  8. I think the damage model all together isn't very good right now vs. AI targets.
  9. Check us out, we fly the saber almost every night: http://39thvfs.enjin.com/
  10. experiment with the saturation levels for your stick. Also, do not uncage the gunsight until you have a decent track on your target. Just uncage to get a final solution.
  11. you can also remove the smoke in the F86.lua file in the CoreMods folder. We have an edited file in our server pack on the 39th web site: http://39thvfs.enjin.com/
  12. +1!
  13. Awesome, thanks I got it working!
  14. Where do you assign this Freq at? I've looked all over in the mission builder with the 55G6 and the IL13. I can see where to add the freq for the AWACS but not the EWR units. This is driving me nuts, I know I'm doing something wrong.
  15. We usually fly around 6:30 NY time till about 9:00. Sometimes we're up earlier in the day. We don't have a dedicated server yet so Invisible puts it up when he can. Best way is to check the 39th web site and TS. Bull usually will announce the time he's putting the server up that day. Hope to see you guys in the sky's.
  16. Ok, I got it to work in the MiG 15. Is there a way to contact them and ask for boggy dope, like with an AWACS? I tried a mission with a GCI radar and didn't see anywhere to add radio freq or anything.
  17. I can say that the flights I've had on the 39th server are the most enjoyable I've had in flight sims. A real sense of mission and teamwork. Great fun!!
  18. Don't even hesitate!! I almost did and I'm happy I bought the MiG. It's a heck of a lot of fun to fly and in some ways more enjoyable then the Saber. Try looking for us, the 39th we are always looking for guys to fly and we need more MiG pilots. We fly co-op and PvP missions. Since I'm one of the only few who have the MiG I get to fly it a lot. http://39thvfs.enjin.com/
  19. I just did a cold start from Mozdak and was able to talk to the ATC. Got permission to start up and taxi and takeoff. I start the Gen and trim thingy, then get the crew to turn on ground power. Once that is on, I turn on the radio on the right switch panel. Then I turn on the radio and tune it to the right freq, in this case it was 182 wave for Mozdak. Hit the mic button and bravo there he is.

  21. So, I'm right when I thought that it only displays 1050 that remains and after 1059 you will not know if you have 1100 or 1300. Be careful not to get to caviler about your fuel state. Once that gauge starts to move it moves quickly.
  22. It seems to me that the fuel gauge doesn't move at all at first and once it does it moves quickly. Looked up this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mikoyan-Gurevich_MiG-15, and it says the fuel capacity for the Mig 15 is 1420. Not sure what 1420 is, liter or whatever. I notice that the fuel gauge says 1050 at the bottom. So I'm wondering if the fuel gauge is the total amount of fuel we have or just lets us know about the 1050 remaining. Anyone have any more info on this?
  23. This helps A LOT! Thanks, now I can concentrate on the target without my eye focusing on the reflection when I least expect it to.
  24. Excellent, exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!
