  1. This is the definition of EA and every customer agreed to this state of the module by transfering money. Because they don't fixed features you like is purely subjective. Every developer does this. ED with the Mi-24 and the F-16 while the Hornet is EA, Heatblur did it with the F-14 while the Viggen was unfinished and EA, Magnitude with the Eagle while the Mig-21 was (and is) still not bug free. As Wags always say: "Everything is subject to Change." All modules lost some features during development (UH-1 multicrew :music_whistling:). Axis slew is not a missing feature of a module btw. As like for all other EA products The Harrier has perhaps the most training missions available for any module, even if not complete yet. Black Shark was never an EA product so it had to be feature complete. I never said this nor is this my personal opinion. I know that dancing around the fire like Rumpelstiltskin won't do any good and try to avoid this at any time.
  2. Nothing of that is game breaking and only minor tuning work. Yes they added the damage model instead of smahing bugs. Seems they have another priority lists than the players but at least it is their Business. Yes, regularly but getting personal when arguments are running out seems to be a popular habit these days. That's the time were a discussion is no longer constructive and I'm out. Great Job!
  3. Not fair from your side, you said missing not bugged… I found that the first Harrier year also looked more impressive. Tell me what you found on the Hornet the last 4 weeks? Progress is slowing when more complicated stuff is being worked on. And before you start with TGP, everybody is waiting for the new FLIR implementation. Otherwise we would have a lasing Hornet. I strongly recommend a look into the A-10C bug forum. It's still in use. No, I'm not thinking everything is for free, but celebrating a cockpit upgrade with bug fixes (some of them years old) while not even acknowledging other developers updated to PBR cockpits earlier sounds a bit biased in my opinion. This!
  4. You said everything... Not sure, I thought your problem was the lack of bug fixing. I have to admit last time I played I don't realized that one third of the module is missing. If this is true It would be in line with nearly all other EA modules apart from the F-14. It's "only" a year now but I suggest you take a look into the Hornet feature list and make an educated guess how much years to go. I saw the first AG radar screens 4 years ago... Simply wait 3 years and buy the modules after they leave EA. Its the future and not only from Razbams side but thats a point most of you don't see or won't see. Lucky one, as day one customer I paid more than for the Harrier to this point increasing after ED sells the new update. I don't talk about features but bugs. Feature complete is a pending definition. Next time we will get a feature complete prototype jet and pay for the combat tested version as DLC. I'm looking foward to the A10 update... welcome to the future of module distribution
  5. At least they do it for free. As I was afraid earlier in this thread I'm allowed to pay a third time for the KA-50. And hey the remaining bugs will also get fixed after six or seven years. A mark Razbam never reached (and hopefully wont).
  6. And you think flying saucers from the third reich are a better addition to the current maps? Fun aside, +1 for the Apache!
  7. You know, some peoples sole purpose in life is to have something to complain about. If we get a patch today without bugs they will complain about the time of release, the size on the HDD, the "felt" performance or the lack of content.
  9. No, more like steering information for speed, course, altitude and maneuvers on your displays.
  10. The FSD flight test in 1977 cleared the 3 AGM-65 loading for operational use. Maneuver limits (6.5g) were higher than most other air to ground stores (5.5g). That was the most severe loading for wing hardpoints 3/7, but was within the hardpoint capability. However, there were launch limits placed on the loading due to scorching of the horizontal tail from the inboard AGM. Launch from that location was limited to war time only, none in training. This was not a Block 50/52 clearance so openening these gates you could also allow MK82's on the F-15C. Why? Because you could do it in war time. You can even drop one from a Cessna 172 if you like. There is a good reason why ED limits the loadouts. You can change it by Lua's or a mod yourself for SP use but don't expect Server admins to mess with thousands of combinations for allowed and forbidden configs.
  11. In case of an upcoming poll you should consider my favorite option - I couldn't care less.
  12. Da steckt so viel Weisheit drin!
  13. Vielleicht sollten wir momentan einfach bisschen auf die Bremse treten bis ED selbst weiß wie das ganze umgesetzt wird. Ich hatte zu dem Thema gefragt, damit die Übersetzung nix kaputt macht hier das Original: Best to be safe and not post it at all, if you have something you feel is important to a bug report, then best to PM an ED team member about it. We are on a kind of slippery slope right now. Thanks for asking! NineLine/Norm Quote: Originally Posted by FSKRipper Hello Nineline, just a short and simple question. 14. And this says what about the F-16C? Feel free to ask ED to remove this option in the A-10C and I will be happy to support you
  15. Since ED is moving away from SFM modules it is very unlikely.
  16. Nothing to thank for  maybe got you an idea how Razbam employees feel :music_whistling: Sad that you gave up useful bug reports to be constructive especially since we dont get feedback for every single report even in the Hornet forum. Telling you were ignored is a little, lets say subjective for this reason...but anyhow, enjoy the discussion. I'm out of this pointless debate.
  17. Yes, I can write a book too. There a people like you, joined less then 6 months ago, 1800 posts, according to the last 90 days most of them are rants, complains and bitching. Less then 2% fulfill the minimum values for a standard bug report according to ED standards, active in several sub forums, no master forum. Our company IT would have you blocked as Troll and for a good reason. You are still here so no way of a strict forum policy... Even Heatblur is going sparse with their answers, great job  I get the feeling some people arent here for flight sims :music_whistling:
  18. Thats right, and most people that posted more than 5 times in this thread and the other bitching/ ranting monologs can congratulate themself to be an active part of this development
  19. Want to make an educated guess how long Nevada was in first access to final release? Could be a suprise for you. BTW, not everything was a direct reply to your thread, I just wanted to save some place and refrained from multi quotes. Im not interested if a product is EA or released but at least I know that EA products will get some attention. Better than paying for Blackshark 3 to get some fixes.
  20. Don't take such BS serious Cobra, you and your team do a fantastic job. As Wags already said, you will always find sombody who will complain.
  21. Funny, most peoply I know still play it quite often, otherwise they would not be up to date about what to mourn exactly. If you were correct, nobody would have bought the MiG-19 or would show any interest in the other Razbam products in the line but... sorry this seems not to be the case. This is the same misconception like the thought multiplayer is the commercial motor for DCS because there are so many virtual fighter wing jocks around. I could tell you what my friends say about this discussion on 4th class level but it would not be nice and would not comply with the forum rules. I'm not sure what is the deeper thought behind all those boycott calls but remembering EA's (the company) history every new BF sells like hotcakes even if "the majority" raged against the publisher weeks before release. Simply stop this BS people, grow up, vote with your wallet but save us this waste of electric energy, storage space and your precious time. Enjoy your day and DCS!
  22. Thats Right. Here is a nice diagram from the manual page 297 where you can see which combinations can be used.
  23. Many thanks Ragnar. As long as it is consistant between all modes I have no issue using the Master mode switch.
  24. Only the first is PLAN. The second is DYK in quick release mode. Both look like picture 3 when the waypoint switches from U1 to M1. Picture 3 (DYK precision mode) looks all the same the whole time pointing to M1 while showing U1. I have no possibility to find the popup point while in ANF. If it is not realy clear I can try to make two tracks this evening… EDIT: I added 3 tracks showing the possible issue with Dyk precision mode in comparism PLAN.trk DYK quick release.trk DYK precision.trk
  25. Hi Ragnar, I hope it is no misunderstanding from my side but here is wat happens: Picture 1: Bomb Plan Mode, with Master mode selector to ANF I'm getting HUD information to steer to the Popup Point. When reaching Popup, the HUD is automatically switching to target Point. Picture 2: DYK Mode, with MM selector in NAV I get the same reading as in Plan mode, fine for me. Picture 3: When using precision DYK mode (Weapons selector to DYK, MM selector to ANF) I have no indication where the popup point is. HUD as well as waypoint marker are directing me to the target. To get this done I would have to fly in NAV mastermode to the popup point and switching to ANF the same time I have to pull up and the waypoint changes from U1 to M1. Maybe this is intended but since this workload is not needed in the other bombing modes I would be suprised.
