  1. I have serious doubts about it. You think people complaining about the price of the "old" A10C would pay monthly? Or people who hates WW2 planes would pay to support them? Do you take different fees for different regions of the world because of the different income? Do you include Gold subscriptions? IMO this would be the road to the end of DCS in it's current form. The current system is also working for other sims like X-"fill in the name of a mankinds greatest invention" Even premium modules are under continued development but there you eventually pay for every new master version. As it was said above, Blizzard was the only company which was successful with such a financial model.
  2. An what do you think, how many of all the people posting before you would pay a monthly fee for 2 modules over let's say 4 years without new features until a new complete study sim module arrives? This would be the most easy way to stop DCS and let ED focus on military grade sims for the armed Forces.
  3. And again your own choice… Who believe the F-18 will be finished one year after release? Should they have kept it from releasing? In my opinion no. I learn the plane with every added feature instead of getting a 720 pages handbook with the A-10C. Same for the 3rd Party guys. Developers doing stuff like VEAO loose their credit and their lifeblood. Sorry, but who ordered the P-40 can blame himself. I can understand some people but in the case of small studios, what should an artist do when just coding work is left? Your answer will be probably Miltech-5. You get your stuff when it's ready, but it can take some additional years  So I prefer the current EA politics
  4. Im by far no expert in FM's nor have I flown the real thing. What I recognized regarding asymetric load is that another well known sim of the Viper, which is credited with a near to life FM, shows far more strong reactions when dropping a bomb and creating an asymetric load.
  6. Sorry, this must have been a big misunderstanding from my side. I tought by telling us: you wanted to convey something. But thinking you know better than the guys at ED shows also a healthy self-confidence so lets forget about it for the moment... Sorry, this may have been a bit misleading.Tech export prohibition also means export of knowledge. It means that giving important information about russian military stuff (newer than the old Su-24) to people without the need to know (civilians, foreigners, companies) is prohibited by law. I suggest you take a look in the MiG-21 and MiG-23 threads. There are a lot of people throwing money at their screens waiting for some russian equipment including myself. The reason why we get more western planes as high fidelity modules is that information on them can be found more easy but this was discussed to death in dozens of threads. Imagine this one: Do you think an american company with a russian CEO and producer would get official support from Boeing when creating an F-18?
  7. No, this was meant seriously. May be suprising but your statement don't make us shiver in awe. As a former radar operator in the german navy with a s2 clearance I'm not very impressed and I'm for sure not the only one  As it was already told you by AeriaGloria: "Russian tech export law. Per RuMOD nothing newer than Su-24" Like it or not but please refrain from these "ED favours only western planes for commercial reasons" conspiracy BS. It ruins your reputation and this would be the last thing you want, right? Unless you think the earth is flat:music_whistling:
  8. You would not believe how many military experts are underway on these boards, real ones and the others… Oh somebody from the tinfoil hat fraction... I would suggest you put your arguments in a nice formatting and send it here: http://en.kremlin.ru/contacts Maybe you get an answer why the planes are still classified but I seriously doubt it... I would recommend you search for the russian series "combat approved" from RT, especially the one about the MiG-31. Even watching russian TV you wont get any details of a plane which is in service since 1981. But you may be right, it's a big conspiracy even with the MiG 19, Mi-24 and the MiG 23 in development :music_whistling:
  9. This is a bit misguiding… The german soundfiles of the Betty are what? 10 or 15 in total and without any Emotion. A chinese pit is some texture artwork and the Betty files are consistent with ED's direction to translate also manuals to chinese. In the case of Jester you are speaking of hundreds of professional created soundfiles. The only way this would make sense is to check the market and create a payware DLC like the COVAS in a famous space sim… If you can convince 500 people, each paying 10$ there may be a chance. Don't forget the F-14 is not an ED made module...
  10. I think I can narrow it down: I have a brand new Win10 Setup with a fresh vanilla DCS 2.5.4 open Beta Setup 2.5.4.26479 Picture 1 with the ugly net is from Training Mission A2A Missile in MSL mode at day. Picture 2 with the normal net is from Training Mission A2A Missile in DM mode at Dawn. Maybe a lighting issue?
  11. Bad boys, do you hate your partners really so much? You know you can eject the RIO into the canopy :matrix:
  12. Can confirm, ugly as hell...
  13. Lieferung in 8-12 Wochen. Total normal.
  14. Since I play some games with dual stick I use a T16000m on my desk for Rb05 (or Hot in the Gazelle) guidance.
  15. Ever seen a real pilot making a position entry for JTAC coordinates? They take their time, it isn't crucial to need some seconds more but a wrong position will kill friendlies.
  16. There would be none, at least for Polychop who are giving away their only product for free. Even if they had two helos the chance would be at least 50% that people buy an ED helo. So from the business side this idea makes not much sense as zhukov stated.
  17. Selected YouTubers will get the module so simply be patient. Would be not a great idea if the devs spend their polishing time creating cinematics (more than the planned ones) imo.
  19. Please forgive me but I couldn't resist :music_whistling:
  20. You know that DCS changed it's major build to the 2.5 level early 2018? Maybe you would have had more fun playing with the v1.5 Tomcat in a possible 2017 release for the rest of your life because it wont get further upgrades… Take it easy, if you can't live with some delays you should stay away from simulations in general because I don't know one single program which hit it's milestone.
  21. Maybe we had a misunderstanding. Because you said don't believe ED in this case I implied that you or your pilot friend have more relevant information on this subject than ED. If that isn't the case I would stick with ED... I would also hope that we are wrong because I would like this option for the Su-33 which is a real impressive plane in my opinion. But like you stated "can carry" it is the same as the F-15C with bombs. The Eagle can carry bombs but was never fielded with them so we wont get the option from ED.
  22. Nice that you ask. I prefer believing ED more than a person I never met, never spoke to before and don't even know really exists behind his/her anonymous forum account. :smilewink: The funny thing is these forums are literally brimming over with experts and RL pilots. What I want to say is that if no one to this point was able to bring evidence of this lodout it must be highly confidential. Telling us you got this information from a RL russian pilot and posted it on these boards would mean you and he just betrayed your country :music_whistling: Don't know if I would be messing with the FSB...

    F22 Raptor

  24. Yes, thx. That was a great insight and I think most people (especially the ones comparing FM's to Youtube videos) don't get an idea how complicated this stuff is. Even understanding the literature basics doesn't mean you are up to a special helicopter. The stuff on the other helos… yeah, I noticed some stuff but what should you do, feed the crowd with several helos and a nearly unrecoverable VRS and they will think thats how it is in life. But who am I… If three banks tells me interests are increasing I will take it for granted...
