You are free to delete these 540Mb but in my case I prefer to keep these files since my standard music player don't like *ogg files so I will forgive Heatblur adding this second wav version to the download.

If you take the ones under C:\User\yourname\saved games\dcs yes. They will be rebuild during your next start (for that reason loading maps will take longer next time)

Deleting metashaders and the fxo folder solved this for me.

There are always two sides. Compressing something means it has to be uncompressed before use. Not the best option when people (including you) complain about loading times and performance. You won't get a product which has more features, better optics than other products for the same or less diskspace, period. This time the backseat is no trainer seat with some blinking lights...

And here we have different opinions. Most A++ game today comes out with 50-120GB diskspace required so 8 GB for a module is far from big. look at some of the Pro modules of other Flightsims, 3-5GB are normal.

Thanks for the tip. You can leave the 3.lua in place by editing line 52 (Setting it as comment by "--") but it will show an empty page at least in my mission with an E2 as Awacs.

Have you tried using a SSD? It solved all of my stutter (loading from disk) problems. I can especially recommend using the M2 variants if possible on your side.

For me exactly this is the case, less than 10% fps reduction in comparism to the F-18 (mirrors off) so I don't see that they claimed something wrong.

Longer loading times with a black screen at the end. Takes 4-5 seconds to get from black screen to the pit in both, SP and MP. Specs see signature.

Das Problem mit der Controllerbelegung ist ein Problem der Open Beta und seit 2 Wochen bekannt. Hatte auch gehofft sie schaffen das zu beseitigen. Das Achsenproblem ist aktuell nicht behebbar. Wegen der roten Doppelbelegung schaut mal das ihr nach dem Patch eine Reparatur laufen lasst. umgekehrt geht's auch, mein Pilot durfte gerade zum Meteor Soundtrack Bömbchen werfen :music_whistling:

I can assure you guys I also pre ordered the products or bought them the first day. As you can see in my history, it is perfectly possible to get a balanced account with it. EDIT: I have to admit I don't own one module, the Christen Eagle for a personal reason which is not a matter of this discussion.
