I'm in a multiplayer server where there is a flight plan preprogrammed with waypoints B1-B6. I've made a new flight plan that only needs B1-B5. How do I delete the waypoint data in B6?
-
You mean I have to make B3 a Target Waypoint before setting time on target? Setting a speed of Mach .90 over a target is fairly good for a low level high drag bomb attack, but it is too fast for the entire route before the target waypoint. If I enter 090 B3 in TID - IN will that calculate a speed of M.90 for the entire route or only from B2 to M3? What will be the calculated speed on the route LS - B1 - B2?

F10 map - Mark positions visible to all - Possible to change?
Hoggorm replied to Hoggorm's topic in Multiplayer
Ok. I know only my team can see them, but I like to place markers on the map for myself as a reminder only. In a multiplayer environment, it can be an irritation for my teammates. Therefore I can’t use them… -
Hi, I have two questions: 1 - Every time I start SRS I have to select the Speaker Source from Realtek Digital Output to Headset. Can I default to the headset so that I do not have to do this every time? 2 - I've never got the SRS radio to work in the Viggen? Is it not implemented in that module yet? Thanks!

Hi, A few updates ago a feature was implemented in the F10 map so that I can mark a position on the F10 map. Is it possible to mark such positions without displaying them to all others on server looking at the F10 map? Thank you

Thank you, Apache, I'll try this soon. I missed the step where you go to AKT POS- OUT and select the target waypoint. What I did was just pressing the time and B3 (target). Hopefully that works. I still wonder how it works when flying low in a valley for example where there are lots of turns and where the speed is not constant.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone have seen or made a Time on Target tutorial for the Viggen? I'm still stuck after reading the manual... Thank you.

Yes. The link you refer to was posted first, in the DCS release version bug section of the forums, since it was not known what caused the issue. Once it was determined it could be the Viggen that was causing the replay problem I felt it was more appropriate to report the problem in the Viggen bug section of the forums. The link you refer to has been left alone since then.

I see. Thanks

Have you got them to work on multiplayer? I see the same on MJ2 and Mix on single player, but have never got them to work online...

BK90 - Can it only be used over flat terrain?
Hoggorm replied to Hoggorm's topic in DCS: AJS37 Viggen
I have not... I can not get it to work... -
Hi, When flying the Viggen replays appear to be corrupted. After start of taxi the aircraft always ends up in a ditch before it reaches the runway. Everything else happens as it did, even launch of weapons. But everything happens on the grass next to a taxiway on the departing airport... This issue is not registered with any other DCS aircrafts.

Thank you for the quick reply. Well I'd love to watch the Tacview recording. Actually, that is what I'm after. Unfortunately, the Blue Flag server do not allow object export so I cannot see anything other than my own aircraft. As far as I can understand the only way for me to see what I hit and what actually happened is to play through the replay (that I really do not look at) and then load the new Tacview file? If you know of a smoother solution, I'd be happy to know it :)

Hi, I've had great success with replays before, but now I see that when my aircraft taxis out it ends up in a ditch. I still add power etc. as I did it but the aircraft is stuck on the ground. What is going on? Can I fix this? I've tried normal speed, half speed and double speed. All the same, but running the replay again do not produce the same result. I then end up in another ditch... Any help would be appreciated!

BK90 - Can it only be used over flat terrain?

I enter, in TAKT: 91150 -> LS for 150 meters. 91500 for 500 etc. -
BK90 - Can it only be used over flat terrain?
Hoggorm replied to Hoggorm's topic in DCS: AJS37 Viggen
Thank you. I just tried that on two attempts. The first attempt I approached perpendicular to the valley. Both missiles flew over the target but impacted the mountain on the other side. No enemy units were killed. On the next attempt, I flew down in the valley. This gave the best result so far with some enemy casualties. Very nice! I assume that had I asked for a long attack instead of a standard I could have taken out much more. But what happened on the first attempt? Why did the missiles fail? Can it be a bug since the missiles crashed so soon after the target. In the real world, I guess the ammunition would have been released the moment the missiles flew over the target. So, if it crashes a moment later that would not matter. Can it be that the missile and ammunition is considered one until the actual explosion occurs? My next thought is regarding the release altitude over the target. The checklist calls for an AGL altitude between 50-500 meters. I was indeed just over 400 meters AGL. But I was about 1000 meters over the target (QFE). Can this be an issue? Here is a Tacview track: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/16066714/Tacview-20170221-115012-DCS.txt.acmi -
BK90 - Can it only be used over flat terrain?

I see. Thank you for confirming the Sidewinder issue! -
Hi, I have a lot of problems getting the BK90 Mjölner to work on targets in valleys. I have no problem using it over flat terrain, but once there are some hills I never hit. Even if the gliding dispenser flies straight over the target. Can it only be used successfully against targets at flat terrain? I'm sure my position is correct using terrain navigation (50 is the last two digits before deploying the weapon). If you have Tacview you can see a couple of examples here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/16066714/Tacview-20170219-210438-DCS.txt.acmi The BK90 flies straight over the target and crashes in the mountain on the other side. One infantry is killed... https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/16066714/Tacview-20170220-213440-DCS.txt.acmi 1st attack. The BK90 flies straight into a mountain before reaching the target. For some reason the 2nd BK90 is not launched. Instead a Sidewinder is fired... 2nd attack. The BK90s are unfortunately launched a bit too early, but they appear to crash into each other before hitting terrain. 3rd attack. I gave up and loaded some M/71 with chute instead. Any help would be appreciated!
