Hi, As the topics sais I installed Win 10 and lost all progress on my Ultimate Argument Campaign... I'm not really that interested in my stats, just to fly through the campaign and all missions. Do I have to start all over again or is it possible to "cheat" somehow and start where I left before the Windows 10 installation? I think I was on mission 8 or 9...

The case is that I really do not play any other high performance requirement games so I only see this in DCS. Is it safe to use MSI afterburner on a laptop? I've never tried overclocking on any computer.

Yes... I have everything at the lowest. The problem is that the sim runs very smooth and fine, but every few seconds there are some micro stutters lasting just a fraction of a sec... Increasing settings do basically the same. Everything runs fine, but every few secs there is this micro stuttering...

I just tried and the TGP do not give those extreme stuttering issues I had some months ago, but the sim is stuttering quite a bit in general. I'd very much like some tips and hint on how to fix this... Hi, I basically stopped flying the DCS and the A-10 months ago when an update made lots of stutter and lag once the TGP was turned on in the A-10. Is this problem still there or is it fixed and now safe to return to DCS? :) Thank you

Thank you majapahit! This fixed it for me. I've always just saved the Input folder and replaced it when needed. This has never been a problem until I installed Windows 10, so I just could not figure out why my usual method did not work..! Thank you again.

Hi, Recently I upgraded to Windows 10. Before doing so I made a backup of the Input folder inside C:\Users\\Saved Games\DCS\Config After upgrading I reinstalled DCS 1.5 and wanted to import my settings however this does not appear to be possible... After copying the Input folder to the C:\Users\\Saved Games\DCS\Config folder and opening DCS I realize that the default settings remain... Have I done something wrong? Any ideas how I can fix this?

Hi, I have installed three versions of DCS: DCS World DCS World 2 OpenAlpha DCS World OpenBeta Unfortunately I've been unable to spend much time with DCS the last few months and it has been somewhat difficult to understand and follow what is happening regarding updates. As far as I can see the latest update updated DCS World 2 and DCS World versions only, and now the DCS World and OpenBeta share the same version number. Do I understand correctly if the OpenBeta version is now abandoned and only two versions will be developed further - DCS World and DCS World 2? Consequently can I delete the OpenBeta version? Although I understand what you say Sryan, I hardly think that they've simulated such realistic radar reflections in DCS... One example is the SAM radar where a target is either visible - or not visible. There is no gain relative to aircraft speed, distance, altitude, relative bearing etc. Either you see a target on the scope, or you do not. It does not work to let the aircraft in closer either. I can see the human controlled A-10 on my SAM radar, but not on the F10 map.

Ok... I cannot see that it is working in 1.5 when a human player occupies an aircraft. If the AI flies it, the fog of war works...

I've tried to place one or more search radars in the mission as well. Even though they show up on the RWR in the A-10 flown by a friend, the A-10 will not show up on the F10 map. I've not tried with an AWACS yet though... Unless I turn off the Fog of War client aircraft will not show up...

I continue my Mission Builder "education" and the question for today relates to Fog of War... I've created a mission with lots of radar SAMs that have their radar on. The idea is a 2 player mission where one player is a SAM operator and another one flies an A-10C. The pilot’s mission is obviously to navigate safely through the SAM sites while the SAM operator tries to shoot him down... Now there is a problem with Fog of War that I do not understand... When I place an AI A-10C at the route start he soon shows up on the F10 map. However when the A-10 is occupied by a friend, it do not shows up. I would think that the Fog of War options work so that if one unit sees an aircraft it will transmit its position to all other friendly units. It appears to be working like this at least with AI aircraft. I would like to make the mission so that the SAM operator can see any aircraft that is seen by radar, while the pilot cannot see SAMs that is way ahead in the flight route. How can I set up this? Thank you.

Hi, I just noticed that the SA-15 Tor radar display is not present in the upper left corner even though the radar is turning... If I change to a SA-8 Osa the radar display is present. The radar display was present in the SA-15 a few days ago, before the latest update to DCS World 1.5. Any idea what might cause this problem and how I can fix it?

I'm wondering what trucks can be used to reload a SAM or AAA. I tried to make a template with a SA-8 Osa and a Ural 4320T truck, but after all Osa missiles had been fired I was unable to reload from the Ural... The message was that there was no ammo available nearby. The Ural truck was within a few meters from the Osa... I tried the same with a Shilka and the same Ural truck. No ammo was available... What truck can be used as a ammo reloader? Thank you

Yes, that is correct. I'd like their radars to be on, but not to fire until a human player enters them via CA (tactical commander)

The template is a SA-8 OSA with ammo truck. The SA-8 I'd like to have in Alarm state RED and ROE Hold Fire. However after saving the template and placing the group on the map the Alarm state and ROE is removed...
