  1. I see... Thank you. Tack.
  2. In the cold start tutorial, I get to the point after start where I shall trim the aircraft to 3 deg nose up. Unfortunately, I cannot get the trim to work so the tutorial ends here for me... The trim does work in other missions (very slowly though - too slow?). Can it be some hydraulic system that is not turned on yet that should have been on?
  3. Nice :)
  4. I'm sorry. I got it to work with T1. I do not know what I've done wrong so far... My joystick has no trigger steps if I understand correctly though. I can only press buttons. They will not stay where I press them.
  5. Hmm... I thought of that so I've tried that too without luck.
  6. I try to update my position en-route using the radar. Following various tutorials, I'm supposed to press T0 to get a crosshair on the radar scope. The crosshair does not appear though... Pressing the TV button now just resets to waypoint to my present position. I'm using a Logitech Extreme Pro joystick and I've mapped T0 to button 5 and TV to nr. 3. When the crosshair does not appear (but I'm still in the "reset waypoint position mode") can I cancel this somehow without having to press TV? Thanks
  7. Hi, I'm considering buying the Viggen but wondering how it works in multiplayer. I've seen a few videos and it seems like a route has to be programmed before departure. In a multiplayer mission where different targets can be chosen (Blue Flag/Open Conflict etc.): How is this done? Is it easy to enter a route once in the aircraft before departure or will this have to be done by the mission designer?
  8. I see. Unfortunately that makes sense... Thank you.
  9. But that does not make any sense... The server I'm on does not allow Tacview recordings directly (even with 10 minutes delay). Playing the Tacview recording done immediately after a mission only shows my aircraft. Nothing else and hence it is basically useless. To record all that happened I run the Playback file of the mission and when it completes way more than 10 minutes has passed. I do not want a 10 minute delay when playing such a recording... It does not make any sense to enforce it either since I'm no longer online and it takes a long time to run through...
  10. Hi, I understand there is a new ant-cheat feature of Tacview. My setting is to record in real-time. After flying a mission on a server that do not allow Tacview recording I run the replay to see what happened. For some reason My recordings always stop a few minutes prior to the end of the multiplayer session recording, hence after 1.5.4 I never see what happened when I got shot down... Am I doing something wrong here? How can I make sure all of the action is recorded?
  11. Hi, I was wondering if someone could clarify when a track is recorded on a server or not. TLDR - question at the end. The server I usually fly on has the following settings: Allow object export: no Allow Sensor's Export: no Allow Player's Export: yes When logging into the mission I see the following information: - Tacview is not installed on the host - Recording flight data in D:\Users\ etc. etc.\filename.zip.acmi - Applying playback delay of 10 minutes to prevent cheating I've never seen the last three messages before and understand that they come from the latest Tacview update. Now the message when inside the mission gives me the impression that there will be a recording, (something that did not happen before the latest Tacview update) but with a 10-minute delay. After flying the mission however, I see the .zip.acmi file, but it is only 1 kb in size and do not contain any data. So to my question: Am I still dependent upon that the server side allows recording? Or have I done something wrong in the settings myself? If the server side do not allow recordings, do I still have to run a replay to see what happened?
  12. Thank you very much! Very nice :)
  13. Hi, Me and a friend is flying the Su-27 as wingmen in multiplayer missions. We were wondering if there is some leader/wingman documentation available somewhere that could teach us a bit on how to fight as a team? The documentation does not have to be Su-27 specific of course! What formations should be used and why. What is leader main task and what is wingman main tasks during a flight? What is said on the radio? Etc. etc. :) Any website, pdf, YouTube video etc. describing this would be highly appreciated.
  14. Thank you for the very quick reply!
  15. Hi, On various multiplayer missions, I've been shot down because I did not know that a (IR) missile was fired at me. In the A-10 one can easily hear all missiles being fired, but in the Su-27 I hear nothing before I'm hit. Is the only rescue from this situation that I actually see the missile coming? Are there no other ways? (Radar guided missiles are detected and heard of course)
  16. I see. Thank you for all help Ironhand. At least I can be fairly certain it is working as designed, since you confirm my findings :)
  17. Yes, you are right. There is a P blinking. I was able to view a replay earlier today. That is - I did not actually see it since it took so long to start it. I pressed the pause button while in the F10 map. It took a long time however before I can see a picture of an airport. At that time, I had to go, but decided to just let DCS run. When I came back a couple of hours later the replay was finished, so it had played. How long do it take before something happens after starting a replay? Is it really several minutes? I would say I left the screen about three minutes after starting the replay.
  18. I see! Thank you! I'll check it later. I can not remember a "Paused" message though. Maybe it is not displayed? Thank you again!
  19. Hi, I just left a multiplayer server and would like to view the replay. I find the mission name in the replay/multiplayer section but after double clicking it only the F10 map is shown. Nothing happens... What am I doing wrong here...?
  20. Yes, I have that on by default
  21. Hi, When looking around using my TrackIR I find it somewhat difficult to press buttons that are for example down to the left or right because the camera is so sensitive (every degree in head movement is more than doubled on the screen (so that I can look fast behind me in case of a dogfight etc.)). The only solution is to press the pause button and lock the view while pressing buttons in the cockpit. Is there some sort of dead zone available that more or less freezes the view when I keep my head fairly still? I hope you can understand my issue and question... Thank you
  22. I must thank you for the advice! I found it strange that my port forwarding was not working, but then I was thinking about the modem provided by the ISP. It has its own firewall and by opening the ports to my Cisco router the 5002 port appears open on the websites provided :D I was able to connect to my server using my external IP. The next event is to check if a friend can connect to it. But it appears to be ok now! Thank you!
  23. No... Both 5010 and 5002 is closed using both those websites... That is somewhat strange...
  24. Update: I'm now at home and from one computer I can connect to the server using the local IP 192.168.1.102 I'm still not able to connect using the IP found using https://www.whatismyip.com/ I have, in the Cisco router I've opened Both UDP and TCP to IP 192.168.1.102 without luck...
