  1. Hi, I unable to save ROE and Alarm state together with an template... Is this not possible or am I doing something wrong..? Thank you
  2. Thank you Sryan! I would never have found that! I thought it was the condition of the unit at mission start :)
  3. Thank you! :) Works very well!
  4. Thank you both! I'm sorry for beeing a noob, but I was not able to set this up in my mission... I only get to Mission Start Event in the trigger setup... Where do I go from here? I do not find a Random Flag item... This could also be very interesting. How do I set this up for lets say a Tunguska..?
  5. As the topic sais: Is it possible to set that it is for example 25% probability that a unit will appear at the start of the mission? The idea is to force a small change in a given mission every time it is played... One time there will be a Tunguska at a given site. The next time it will not be there, but there will be a Shilka further down the road etc...
  6. I'd like them to have their search radar on so that they will show up on the aircrafts RWR instrument.
  7. Hi, I'm building a mission where the idea is that one or more pilots will fly and navigate through an area with AA units (SAM avoidance mission with Tor, Osa, Tunguska, Shilkas etc). The AA units can however only be fired by a human player in CA. I would like to make the mission so that all AA units that emits a radar signal do so, however do not fire until they are manned by a CA player who controls it. By using waypoint properties and Rule of Engagement (ROE) to hold fire I've managed to stop all AA units to fire, however I've not been able to make them turn on their radar. In this state they just sit there and their radar is only turned on when a human player enters the unit... The problem with this is that the player in the aircraft have litte time to avoid the SAM as the human player in the it can wait and not turn on its radar until he is sure the aircraft pilot cannot escape. If the radar was on all the time, the aircraft pilot can try to avoid this threat by moving behind a mountain top etc… Is it possible to fix this in a way? I've tried to set the ROE to something like hold until fired upon, but that did not turn on their radar either...
  8. Thank you! Will this work if the AA unit is controlled by a human in a multiplayer game?
  9. Hi, I'd like to ensure that the AA units in my mission do not run out of ammo. How can I assure this? Is it possible to give them unlimited ammo or can I place an ammo truck next to them? How far away from the AA unit can it be and still be able to reload? Thank you
  10. Thank you!
  11. Hotfix 3 will not install on my computer... Can I update manually without the autoupdater? I played DCS early in the morning. Maybe that is why it will not update? Do I have to wait until tomorrow morning?
  12. Hi, I have two issues with multiplayer: 1 - In the multiplayer lobby I sort the sessions so that the rooms that do not require a password is at the top. Out of those sessions there are only a few that I can actually select and join. When I try to join most, no information about the mission is available, and nothing happens when I press the Join button. 2 - Often when I actually CAN enter a session, I'm presented with only the F10 map OR a view of a FARP or airport. Pressing ESC does nothing and the only solution I can find is to Ctrl-Alt-Delete out of DCS... Any ideas what I can do to fix this?
  13. Thank you very much Flagrum! Exactly what I was after!
  14. Hi, I've created a few weapon loadouts for the A-10C so that I quickly can use them in multiplayer sessions for example. When I contact the ground crew, ask them to rearm and refuel I can scroll to the bottom of the list and find my personal loadouts. Are these located in files somewhere on my computer so that I can copy and send them to a friend?
  15. Do you think it will help to replace my HDD with a SSD disk?
  16. I have now uninstalled and reinstalled both Intel and Nvidia drivers and made sure I am actually running DCS in fullscreen when flying. I have to admit there are some improvements, although there still are lags and stutters from time to time. Usually they are not more than annoying. However every few minutes the sim freezes for about a sec. And that is a long time if there is some heavy maneuvering at the time. I have finally been able to show FPS, and it usually is around 60. When the stutter appears from time to time it drops to around 10… This can happen when I just fly straight and level. I've tried to disconnect the TrackIR USB while in flight. I can't really say if helps yet… Anyway I feel I must have TrackIR running to enjoy the sims poetical, so it really do not matter that much… Unless there is a fix of course!
  17. Finally I can see FPS by using CAM :) Thank you!
  18. I'll try it tomorrow :) Thanks for all the help today!
  19. I use the following USB items: TrackIR Mouse Joystick I'm not sure if there is an update. There might be. How do I find out what motherboard I have and how to update it? Yes, I've tried Alt-Enter to enter real fullscreen. It produces the same result... It is a Xishan W350E laptop, not a HP...
  20. Something is definitely wrong... After much hard work I've uninstalled the Nvidia and Intel Drivers. Still the orange "speedometer" light that should indicate that NVIDIA Discrete GPU (dGPU) is activated lights. Hence I cannot be sure if it was actually on earlier... It might be that after uninstalling the driver, there was no way to tell if the Nvida card was running and therefore it stays on, but it is still strange... Maybe a reinstall of the driver will help. Else I'll try the Hwinfo software. Never tried that though... I've not used Msconfig before, but I feel I have a fairly good idea of what is running by using software like CCleaner.
  21. Neither work for me unfortunately... The one downloaded from here? https://cam.nzxt.com/
  22. I see! I'm quite sure the computer runs the NVIDIA graphics card. On my laptop there is a "speedometer" icon that lights up orange. This should indicate that the NVIDIA card is running. If the light is not lit, the Intel graphics card is running the show. Also - in the NVIDIA control panel I've set the NVIDIA card to be on always by default. Other games run relatively smoot. Games that I do not think would run if not the NVIDIA card was working. The problem is that DCS 1.5 OB runs smooth between these lags and stutters. So I have smooth running for a few seconds, then a stutter/lag, then smooth again, then stutter/lag and so on. I have tried to show what my FPS is, but the keys for that option do not work as I describe in this post: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=149062
  23. I'm not using the Steam version... I just did. Unfortunately it did not work either...
  24. Hi, I'd like to check what FPS I have and I understand I can do this while in flight. However Right Ctrl - Pause do not work. I've changed this to Left Shift - End in General, A-10C Sim and A-10C Game. I've also tried in the Hawk, but no framerate is displayed... I can't get it to work in neither 1.2.x nor 1.5 OB... While in the options, pressing Left shift - End will immediately change to the Framerate counter - Service info field. Any idea how to fix this?
