Hi, I'm trying to find any good tutorials on how to use the sensors and weapons in the SU-27, but all I find seem to be from the Lock On version. Where can I find good tutorials on how to fly this jet?
-
I understand. Are there any estimates for when there will be a consumer version ready for DCS available?
-
I see! Thanks for the information. I was not aware that this was also was an issue.

Hi, I'm considering either TrackIR 5, or to wait for Oculus Rift. The biggest issue with Oculus seems to be that it will be fairly difficult to use the keyboard at the same time? Is there any indication that this problem will be solved?

OK, thank you. Since I do not have access to the router settings myself I guess I must talk to the IT departement again.

Hi, I have DCS World installed on a laptop that I use at work. When I host a mission at work (connected to my works wifi) friends do not find my server in the server list. When at home however they do. I've talked to the IT department at work and they say they have put no restrictions on internet access. Since people are able to log on to my mission when I’m home, and not on my work wifi (even though there shall be no restrictions), can there be some settings on my laptop that restricts connections when on the work wifi? Firewall settings for example?

Tacview only records own aircraft, nothing else

I'm sure he did that, but I'll check again. Thanks! -
Tacview only records own aircraft, nothing else
Hoggorm replied to Hoggorm's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
I'm still looking for a solution to the problem why only my own aircraft is shown in the Tacview recording. The mission host is a friend who does not use Tacview yet, so there might be a setting he has selected without knowing it? This is not a problem with other servers. I’ve only seen it while flying on my friends server. Any help would be appreciated! -
Only BS2 that can be used in DCS World?
Hoggorm replied to Hoggorm's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
Ok, thank you! -
Hi, A friend owns the first Black Shark (not BS2). Can it be used in DCS World?

I see. I've never seen this before. Anyway - this is a private game, so how do we deactivate this cheat function? -
Tacview only records own aircraft, nothing else

Here is the recording by the way: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/16066714/Tacview-20141106-225326-DCS.txt.zip -
A friend of mine made a mission that we played yesterday. I would like to see the Tacview recording afterwards, but this only included my own flying, nothing else. Not allied units (mostly ground CA units) or any enemy units. Not even my gun rounds, AGMs or CBUs was shown, only where I flew. Any ideas what can solve this problem?

I was able to solve the problem by deleting the Export.lua and TacviewExportDCS.lua in the Saved games/DCS/Scripts folder. The two files was recreated after starting Tacview and reselecting DCS World as recording source.

Hi, I just installed Tacview 1.2.8. It shows a small DCS icon in the lower right corner. After flying a multiplayer mission that I know have been recorded in earlier versions of Tacview I flew one of the single player instant missions. Neither was recorded by Tacview. At least I could not find them in /User/Library/Documents/Tacview Any ideas?

Is DCS: Flaming Cliffs 3 the same as Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 3?

How to change from regular DCS to Steam DCS
Hoggorm replied to Hoggorm's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
Thank you for the very quick reply! I only own the A-10C, CA and FC3, and they all appear as in Library in Steam. Do you know where I can find the key binding settings files (G for Gear up for example)? I tried to press save profile in the settings, but nothing happens... Good question. I use Steam a lot, and have no problems with it. I just find it practical to have everything at one place. -
Hi, Now that FC3 is available at Steam I'd like to change form regular DCS World to Steam DCS World. How can I make sure all my settings are transferred? I'm especially interested in transferring the keyboards settings where I've done the most changes. Also - If a friend of mine uses the regular DCS, I will still be able to fly with him from Steam? Thank you

Hi, I own the Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 3, but as far as I know it is not compatible with the DCS Steam version. I see DCS: Flaming Cliffs 3 is for sale at Steam. Can I use my Lock On key to activate the DCS version or is this not possible? Are the two versions basically the same? Up until now I have not used the Steam version of DCS just because of the Flaming Cliff module I own not being compatible with Steam. I still would prefere to use the Steam version if I could. Is it worth buying the Steam version and change all DCS flying to Steam, or should I just stick with the version I have today? Thank you

Good SAM/JTAC/A-10 multiplayer training mission?
Hoggorm replied to Hoggorm's topic in DCS: Combined Arms
Thank you very much! I'll give it a try :) -
I asked basically the same question about two years ago, and have played little CA since then. I was hoping the current state of CA was more enjoyable than it was back then. So: Are there any good multiplayer missions where I can be either SAM or JTAC, and where a friend can fly the A-10C? Thank you!

TackView do not record flights
Hoggorm replied to Hoggorm's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Thank you! I assume this is the network.cfg file found in :\User\Library\Saved Games\DCS\Config ? -
TackView do not record flights
Hoggorm replied to Hoggorm's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
If I'm hosting the mission: How can I make sure that Tacview actually do record? I've seen several missions that only makes a file 1 kb in size. -
Is it possible to automatically look at incoming missiles?
Hoggorm replied to Hoggorm's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
I see. Three more questions for you then if I may :) 1 - You had to have the missile in view before pressing the key? 2 - Was it the key for "Threat missile padlock" or "All missiles padlock" you used? 3 - Do you have to hold the key combination down to keep the view on the missile? I'll be away until Saturday, so I won't be able to investigate further until then. Hopefully I'll get it to work eventually.
