This time i was prepared for it. Anyway, even for the Viggen the update of a week or so ago was still about them working on it, which doesn't hint for me at anything relatively close yet :( Hype trains are dangerous for my health :P

Why are you guys betting on the Viggen announcement? Was there some new info or it's just your hope that keeps betting for it since the past spring? :P

Yes without a doubt for me! DCS needs more choppers and i think that people is getting more interested in them too since they offer those unique qualities planes do not have

With ED, usually yes. They had issues and delays so far, it's likely it might happen again. What do you consider End of this year tho?

There is no doubt about the quality of what they are doing. However the release of 2.5 likely happening in 5 months is a bit sad :(

That's for sure, nor i ever claimed that more communication would speed up the process. However it would keep buying customers a little closer. Especially since, as we say here in Italy, money doesn't grow on trees and i would hate to spend some money on the F-5 and then find out that the Viggen is getting release and i won't be able to afford it, or viceversa

Oh, didn't know about Cobra getting sick. Only thing i would have liked is, you know, some more communication. Sometihng like "okay guys, we need some more time on x so it will be delayed". I was lead (but maybe it's my fault) to believe that we would have seen it around June or so, now i see Cobra's post about a research trip instead >.> Then i also read that ED don't make modules be released at the same time to increase the sales (and that the F-5 is coming in July too, no?).. so yeah

Oh please. I would never want REX on DCS, nor the weather technology FSX/P3D uses. 2d clouds that turn around you in 2016.. Volumetric clouds are the way to go now.

I was out from the loop a little bit, was the Viggen supposed to come at the end of May? Or June? Or later?

Well, officially they said this week. Woudn't hurt for a change that was always happening at the end of said week but oh well, guess we'll wait.
