  1. in DCS it may look small too you.... but the F-5 is actually about the smallest fighter... the Mirage is very big in real life. You could put an F-5 on each wing.
  2. Viggen reverse thrust pulls aircraft left. I noticed in some training videos, there was not much pull in the Viggen videos made and posted on youtube. What am I doing wrong, how can I stop this nasty pull to left when applying the revere thrust on landing? Thanx.. :joystick:
  3. note: I just saw another thread with similar problems with RB-15 https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=201883&highlight=rb-15
  4. Are there MORE Viggen RB-15 Anti-Ship Training Video Or text ? i tried following the RB-15 Anti-Ship part of Chuck's guide, but I had problems. It was too complicated and I could not follow the directions properly. Thanx btw, usually I follow Chucks guides for lots of aircraft, but the viggen often perplexes me. Dummy me. :helpsmilie: note: this is in the Open Beta DCS
  5. I uploaded some profiles in the dcs user files, a while back, a bunch of profiles in a zip file
  6. Has anyone tried Nvidia 391.01 drivers with DCS 2.5 OpenBeta ? I installed these latest video card drivers, but haven't tested them yet.. :joystick:
  7. please... it's really stopped most people from enjoying 2.5 :joystick:
  8. DCS 2.5 02-09-18 with latest patch took very long time to load
  9. Friend with F-86E Fighter Seat wants to sell (seat only). I don't have all the details, I need to take some photos and info from it. I looked at it, took photos. it has been outside a while. http://www.ejectionsite.com/f86seat.htm It turned out it is most likely from an F-86E. The year on the tag is 1966. I can't tell you any more, but the owner can. He got it from someone that lead projects at Skunkworks a long while back. Someone mounted wheels on it to wheel it around on floors. Attached are photos of it. Also photos of the manufacturing tag. In Oregon. Price not yet established. You pickup. Steven re(remove)tiredat44@hotmail.com
  10. Viggen was parked backwards when spawning in aircraft in hanger, and then in a mission F15-C spawned into hanger with door locked closed. I have not searched to see if others have these issues with 2.5.
  11. I sat in an F-15C in about 1981. The rear area behind the pilot was all electronics and computer panels. I am almost sure it's the same variant. It was stationed in Germany, but was from a visiting squad.. I was in the 86th Wing. We still had the F-4 Phantom and had the ZULU front line protection which was a 15 minute flight to the Eastern Border back then.
  12. from what I read,,, the Nvidia GTX1060 = GTX980 (I have a Nvidia GTX1060 6GB)
  13. you forgot to add "+ wife (8 exponent) walks in on every flight night at the wrong time causing the whole mission to go to $hit" = BS = priceless.
  14. I think I can speak for all AKA and friends that have the latest, and decent computer. massive problems, memory leak, or??? Loading times, stopped before loaded, bad performance, stop and go... the list goes on and on.. map does look really good though.. ;)
  15. going out to shoot up some ships, trying to follow directions on programming the Viggen with anti-ship missles.. ( RB-15 ).I tried following directions in the AJS-37 Viggen Guide. Is there another guide beside Chucks and the Official manual on programming the weapons, cartridge etc? I remember there was something in the works to have some pre-programmed cartridges ready fro a mission... actually a while back I seemed to kill some ships, but this time around it took me a few passes, and by the time I almost killed one the gas was burned up... ( handling sucks until 2.5 I guess... can't wait for that either,,, steers like a bus). Thanx.. :joystick:
  16. I think the thread should have been locked before it went around in circles...
  17. old thread, but it's gone bad again,, the white/black/boat switch settings... for TGP, etc.. either too white or too black. Use the Saitek X52 Pro, no problems with all other planes, flight sims, etc, using the dial 3 way on the throttle. video: Nvidia GTX1060 with 6gb ram latest drivers. No overclocking on anything. Win10 :helpsmilie: anyone else see a problem...? I didn't notice this because I have not flown the A-10C for along time...so I don't know how long this problem has been going. it could be just a driver setting.. I don't know. No TrackIR (whether that matters or not)
  18. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/?set_filter=Y&arrFilter_pf%5Bfiletype%5D=&arrFilter_pf%5Bgameversion%5D=&arrFilter_pf%5Bfilelang%5D=&arrFilter_pf%5Baircraft%5D=&arrFilter_DATE_CREATE_1_DAYS_TO_BACK=&CREATED_BY=ramstein&sort_by_order=TIMESTAMP_X_DESC&set_filter=Filter its a group of X52 pro profiles... and has the A-10 profiles. For download in the download section I made them... some may have been slightly altered since the upload... but they all work. Unzip into empty folder and use what you want..
  19. I tried this OVGME (DCS Nevada 2.2 Alpha install) with the Mirage and 3rd party English cockpit. I tried 25x. I gave up. I could not get the Mirage English cockpit to work using OVGME. I have used JSGME on many flight sims over the years. Also in DCS. I read something in one of these threads about some mod not working if it was in a certain folder. But now, my brain is spinning from trying to many times... I read the instructions, 20 threads,, some Youtube posts, and more... I guess I just screwed up somewhere, or it does not work. Looks like a good tool .... I just failed...
  20. is this 8 a.m. PDT ??/ Oregon?
  21. what is kind of strange is some aircraft, Russian come to mind, that can handle off road takeoff, landings... because of construction of the landing gear for very bad conditions... it does depend on the dirt, mud, etc... and type of aircraft. I know a little about aircraft and moving them... we used to push a B-52 off of the ground cable, as the B-52 fills with 50,000 gallons of fuel, it is so heavy the tires expand quite abit, and often, if the ground cable are not far enough away from the wheels the planes eventually sits on those cable. only way to retrieve the cables and equipment is to move the aircraft off of the cables. We often would push the aircraft off the cable with our hands alone. I do think the resistance is a bit much in the sim. But, like others say, they should not be off road. The FOD problem, possible damage from being off road and the airframe, and landing gear, etc... plus, and angry commanding officer for a bad pilot. I guess the argument is mute because the powers that be will probably just say live with it as they work on more pressing issues.
  22. holy carp... buy some video cards and ship them to you guys, :pilotfly:
  23. i HAD THIS HAPEN AFTER THE LATEST PATCH A FEW DAYS AGO. (sorry caps)... I was at a low altitude, less then 10k feet. And I am pretty sure I didn't hit some off key. The engine shut off and had no controls at all. I didn't get a track. I am a little confused why more people have not experienced this. I know they are looking into why it's extremely difficult to slow this thing down to land, unless you use only the longest runways, and dump al of your stores. otherwise, love the Mirage. :music_whistling:
  24. DCS, and all who make it all work.. Thank you for the updates and hard work, I think I can speak for all of the AKA in giving a Huge, Thank you!
