Memory leak in latest 1.5 non Beta DCS ? I bunch of us flew last night and it was a problem night for most of us, with aircraft losing response after a few minutes, usually we fly a few hours without issues, and change to several aircraft. But this last update seems porked with memory leaks? :helpsmilie:

Ramstein replied to Dojo's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I am one of those who are looking forward to buying al new flight gear as soon as I can. hopefully in a year or less. My old Saitek stuff is way past is falling apart date. I hope to invest in quality flight equipment, though very expensive, I am sick of cheap plastic. -

My Saitek Combat rudder pedal's toe brake is dead

the plastic breaks off, and no fix for broken plastic... if it only needs the pot, then try it... -
My Saitek Combat rudder pedal's toe brake is dead
Ramstein replied to SCU's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I think everyone had their Saitek pedals go tits up.. the plastic is horribly cheap, it breaks, Saitek turned to garbage and everyone is bailing... CH pedals replaced mine and when I get some money, the Saitek stick will be gone too. Saitek could not take the time to release final drivers for Win10 either. pure b.s... IMHO I had Saitek for 15 years. Never again.. -
Saitek - I tried to love you.
Ramstein replied to Headwarp's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Yeah, Saitek really screwed with us... they really got nasty with going al out on other newer projects, not even bothering to help us with final Win10 drivers, and broken heaps of plastic. I am surprised that Saitek users haven't rioted, as though we have a right to, treated so badly, yet they are now pushing new products, unsuspecting newer customers probably think it won't happen to them... Sad ! :helpsmilie: They must think we can just spend a fortune if they dump support... well if we do it won't be for anything else Saitek, or 'madcatz' IMHO  I think I found away to make my Saitek stick work again in Win10, without a final driver... I stumbled on it, but kind of complicated, since they never got a final windows driver out you have to let your machine accept the drivers without a signature.. us end users should not have to be engineers to make their stuff work! -
not saying the mustang has which manifold heating devices, but the engines going way back either had heated manifold for exhaust ducts, water ducts, or both... either auto or manual...

Happy news Year our DCS Family! It is a shock to me, I was only given a short time to live (by surgeons), and so far have beaten the odds for the amount of year for a condition I have that is have, and on the averages takes 20 years off of one's lfe. So, I can still fly and enjoy DCS into 2016 ! Stay Safe! :joystick:

How to will your aircraft to another player if you stop flying DCS. If you are no longer around, but want your aircraft to be given assigned to someone else that already flies DCS. ??:joystick: Not ready yet, but the day is coming when I won't be around and want to give my aricraft to someone after I am gone. But probably will not be here to fill out the papers... thanx...

any inside new on Saitek ever releasing final Win10 drivers? Current are Beta, and not very good. Give problems to many, as special install instructions because they unsigned. leads to big problems. Saitek refuses to communicate what they are doing. Inside knowledge, or educated guesses?:joystick: Thank you, from a sad Saitek user for 15 years.

I want to fly this bird with my friends :joystick:

I have problems with the rudder often with this plane and keep trying to adjust my pedals to see if they are the issue... still not sure, I put a tine deadzone into my pedals for the F-86. it seems like they jam just like you say.

I took this photo of a Mirage BR18 in Germany in about 1980: Belgian it is a large aircraft, lots of wing surface.

I think Saitek with Win10 is still a frakked up and the Beta doesn't work in my Win10 install properly.. I thought they actually made a final version of Saitek driver for Saitek X52 Pro and others, for Windows 10, but apparently it's still Beta, they are so deceptive , and it took them a year and they still screwed it up.. I know it woks in Win8.1 but when I went back to Win10 a 2nd time I was led to believe the latest release was a final, but apparently they mislead us, as it appears to still be a Beta version with bugs, the keys repeat the presses... Anyone else see the same issues? Thanx

I just went back to Win10 for the 2nd time, hoping the latest Saitek drivers work...:joystick: so far, so good.. and I just wrote over the beta..

Adding serial number to website account
Ramstein replied to 159th_Falcon's topic in Payment and Activation
I wanted to add all that I ordered on DVD in the past, but DCS website will not let, me, so I have to manually do BS1 to BS2. DCS does keep track of my original A-10C DVD. The profile will let you check the serial, but not record it, only check the serial. -
I had upgraded from win 8.1 to win 10 a few months ago, and cannot remember, but I think I had to completely re-install DCS. I had to uninstall Win10 because of to many problems went back to Win 8.1 All is good, currently. But still should go back to Win10 as I already had it installed have the software, key etc. I also have Win10 on our family computer. Question: Do I have to do a clean install with DCS (again) or will my Win 8.1 install with DCS stay and run with a Win 10 upgrade run over my currently running Win 8.1. Thanx :joystick: btw, Saitek at the time had no Win 10 drivers at all, and finally they released some crappy Saitek Win10 Beta drivers. Saitek still has no Final Win 10 drivers ready.

Anyone else often have issues on steering on the takeoffs? not all of the time, but often my F-86 is al over the runway,, maybe find an adjustment for pedals? maybe a better tutorial just for take-offs only? Often I just make the take off ugly, but still take off, other times just screws up... use 'S' key, but then get rolling and use rudder only? etc... :joystick:
