Please don't tell me to set my max FPS to 30 and then have me call it butter smooth because its not. 1.2.7 runs great 60 and over, updated to 1.2.8 and I'm dipping below a a good amount of times.

What are your system specs? Are you runing multiple graphics cards in SLi/Crossfire? I've had those hard lockup problems before with either multiple GPUs or a faulty power supply. 1.2.8 might have uncovered a hardware problem you might have had all along.

Not worried however. I'm sure it will all be resolved soon. Hats off to ED for the hard work and great content.

Noticed fps is unstable in 1.2.8. Feels like its all over the place even in single player. In some instances I'll crater down to 30s. Reverted back to 1.2.7 and wont dip below 60.

So we will have a new flanker cockpit with the 3 MFDs ???? Do we know for a fact if were getting the su-27SM? From what I'm seeing on official posts there is no mention of "SM" anywhere.

SU-27 cockpit LOW FPS especially with lights on. Cmon guys this has been around for too long, why hasnt anything been done about it?

What FPS do you get in the quick start SU-27 intercept? I'm also seeing this issue and it has been around for a long time and nothing has been done about it.

Have not had a chance to try 1.2.5 yet but has it by chance fixed the low SU-27 cockpit FPS issue?

Same issue here and Im running a very high end system. My max FPS in a Su-27 is 30fps at best. I average around 25fps and when I turn lights on I get about 18-20 fps. I can run all other aircraft that have 6dof pits with 60+ fps no problems. Its such a let down for me given that I am a SU-27 guy by nature. :( I hope 1.2.5 takes care of this issue because its been around for a while now.

Any improvement in the SU-27 cockpit with the canopy glass change? I have not yet gotten a chance to test this new patch.

Went from 60-70 FPS in the Su-27 to 40 max and avg of about 30. My PC specs are in my sig. Not a bad machine at all. I take a massive hit in FPS with cockpit lights on. With lights off i average about 30 fps, lights on about 22 fps. When I'm in the F-15C everything is peachy with lights on or off at 50+ fps. Has anyone tried frostie's cockpit canopy scratch removal mod for the Su-27? Any difference? I love my Su-27, can we do something about this ED? Pretty pleaaaaaase...

Significant FPS drop in 1.2.4 with the new pits. Seems like I used to be able to fly around in my Su-27 with 40-70 fps no problems. Now with the new cockpit and 1.2.4 I'm down to 18-35. What gives? I know the new cockpits are more detailed and what not but that big of a hit? The biggest hit comes when i turn on cockpit lights, I can be down in the 18-20 range.
