  1. Yep the bullets going speed of sound are missing, though it's kinda tricky to implement because it depends of the position you're watching from. If you're close from the target, the sound of the bullet travelling should come at impact. I believe the impact sound is a mix between ricochets, gravels blown away and other particles flying away but not really audible.
  2. Hi, no prob I'm just saying, I'm not a moderator, it's moved anyway :) Take a look here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1693367&postcount=46 May be a DirectX or realtek driver problem. Check it out.
  3. It's not what I mean, the files seem to be here but doesn't work :( Btw you don't need someone to stand on the firing range, just let your camera :) @0:32
  4. I would like some news about this. I really don't understand what's broken to take that much time :/
  5. lol I hope your boss isn't a DCS forumer... :music_whistling:
  6. Yep, I really hate when there's a shedload of sams in MP cause I know they will be nobody (or the mission maker has to be good) to help us. Well as said previously, they find me more often than I find us... Missile avoidance is the key. or ejection or good skills to bring what's left of the aircraft to home...
  7. ah 32 bits, it never smells good when I read that.... Do you have a soundcard? Actually you should post your specs please. PS : you should have posted it in the bugs & problems section.
  8. +1 I think it just doesn't worth it to implement it. Of course you feel a shaking but I hardly think it's really noticeable, it must be an high frequency vibration and if you're based on the camera motion that can be pretty wrong cause it may absorb the vibration differently. Well it's hard to know, I have never fired the gatling personally lol
  9. Then I must have a problem or something cause I'm the type that read the manual 3 times before getting in the aircraft :book: lol
  10. To answer the OP, it could be possible by editing manually the lua files in your saved games folder. That is the mouse.lua, there's 3 lines with the axis, give it a try by replacing the camera control by the aircraft controls ones?
  11. Yes but you can still get the cursor, even if there's nothing to switch right? With the alt+C command. Am I wrong?
  12. The resolution does impact the performances, that's what you can observe in a lot of in game tests, the GPU isn't working alone you know. Though don't get me wrong, I could put a screenshot of my DCS settings, but I'm far from the full High settings, I do some compromise of course, visibility on medium, trees at 6000m, shadows on medium, water on low, AAx4... it's closer from medium than high settings. I don't complain about performances, I know my PC is cheap and I'm happy with that, I mean, all the games I play are ... playable lol and DCS is pretty decent with that config, and I get 20 FPS minimum in a huge fight and close to the ground (1 FPS with the CBU slideshow of course) and as you said I really enjoy the game, though I'd like some more visibility but I don't want a 30 FPS average.
  13. ^^^this but it's 1440*900
  14. Look at the size of my screen...
  15. Funny but wrong, my i3 2100 is running DCS on high/med settings at 40-45 FPS average, and the other games I play are fine too, btw my PC has a far better price/performances ratio than a lot of high end PCs on the market, of course with less performances, it's a ratio don't get me wrong. Peoples shouldn't underestimate the dual cores which are still working pretty fine in 2013 games (I play Arma 3 alpha like a charm on very high settings for example, same for Planetside 2...) The i3 2100 for example at stock clock overrides some Phenom x4 955 also, so if you think performances depends of the number of cores, you're pretty missing the point. To conclude, if you have a slashed budget, go for an i3 (not below the 2100), if you don't, go for an i5 as you seem to do.
  16. Really nice, plus, you have a central joystick so you get my vote for that!! :p
Corrigez moi si je me trompe. Il n'y pas 36 solutions malheureusement, la meilleure étant de passer sur un OS 64 bits ^^"
  18. Oh I remember this one
  19. I think Mower is right. I don't recall such a feature personally.
  20. If you're talking about Modman 7.3, it doesn't work with DCS World IRCC. Am I wrong? You're mod is old and for BlackShark, it will definitely not work right now.
  21. I played RO2 and I was pretty disappointed, it's not a "full sim", there's some arcade features that I don't really like and make the game too easy. Also I found the weapons handling a bit too scripted but that's only my opinion. If you never played Arma, you should then! It's what you can call an infantry SIM, with mods like ACE and ACRE you have something which is amazingly realistic and the sound mods are ... gold. I don't recommend buying Arma 2 now of course, stick with the Arma 3 alpha to check it out! If you want I can give you a key for the "lite version" which will allow you to play as a guest for free before buying the game. Just say me if you want it. It will be a Steam gift available from the 14 March to 18 June 2013. Regards.
  22. Personally I use the Auto overclocking and it works great. I'm not the one which wants to push the limits (and don't mind my case, I'm special...) and for that the ASUS mobo do its job great. When you come with an "extreme" overclocking and you want to exploit the whole potential of your CPU, of course do it manually, that's common sense... But autooverclocking is fine and less risky for a "standard and safe oc", every CPU is treated differently. I've a friend with an i7 2600k on ASUS Z68 auto oced and he gets 4.4Ghz stable and cool.
  23. +1 for Foul Ole Ron. If you can overclock your CPU, it would be helpful, DCS doesn't need a sh*tload of cores but frequency, the highest as possible.
  24. Hehe I'm one of them! ... No I'm kidding :P, the CBU slideshow is really annoying :music_whistling:
