  1. Hi, glad to see that you're interested by our Rafale :) The pilot said there was just a little travel on the stick but I guess there's a force sensing on it, otherwise it would be too much inaccurate. Also there's 13 buttons on it, the hat for the Trim, the trigger, designation systems and radar controls. The throttle has a little travel as well, the sound that you can hear when moving forward is the PC position. 24 buttons on it, airbrakes, radar, radio comms,... At the end of the vid, the officer explains that it's an easy and "cheap" aircraft to maintain. This increases the disponibility.
  2. Yes, I was thinking about making triggers differently sized, it should work. I think you should set "follow" or "formation" first and Reaction to threat in second, it should avoid the AI to act as a happy trigger.
  3. No problem, you're welcome.:xmas:
  4. I was about to post it bud Go to Program files > Eagle Dynamics > DCS World > Doc and then TADA! DCS USER MANUAL EN p.103 :smilewink: there's everything you have to know about the ME (almost:P) Enjoy :book: PS : Personally I moved it to my Documentation files (Eagles Dyna. > DCS World) in the windows Start menu where the rest of the manuals are...
  5. There's already one airfield with a curved runaway IIRC. Maybe it was around Tbilissi. There's a lot of curved runaway in F4 BMS.
  6. Ah ok I got it. Then you have to play with the triggered actions, did you set some fighters to follow and some others to open fire? I mean, there's a possibility to make a formation flight an select some aircraft to follow only. If the AI doesn't obey... I don't really know how to get it working.
  7. In the Mission Editor, there's a Goal tab, and you can set different scores up for each units. e.g 10 points for an infantry kill, 100 for an UAZ...
  8. Hi, Yes there's a control for that, the default should be the ' key or Escape and hit the "pool" button. AFAIK there's no restriction like in Arma about the scoreboard.
  9. If it's a standard OEM laptop, I'm afraid of this too. Also I think it's more difficult to take a laptop to pieces than a rig (little parts with big fingers:juggle:). About the CPU overclock, yes he can overclock up to 2.8Ghz but the cooling...
  10. About Asus crap, are u talking about Asus Suite? I just unistalled this, it was holding my CPU to Idle frequency everytime (1.6Ghz) no matter what I did, after 2 weeks messing up inside my PC, i just unistalled this damn crap. *flip table* Personally, I don't want to spend 180€ in a TIR if Freetrack is a satisfaction, not perfect but it works, Bexxor was an exception with this issue, most of the time, the difficult part is to fit Freetrack into the game, and for that, I blame all the devs which don't make any effort to implement it. Buying a TIR should be a choice, not an obligation, as some guys play with a home cockpit ... I play with a poor HOTAS. XD About the controls, go to the controls Tab, "Tracking">Center (set whatever you want) personally it's on my keyboard, I've nothing on my hotas, then go to "Smoothing">Stable ans set an other key, that's 2 very useful controls. EDIT : I miss your question ^^', if you assign a key in Freetrack, it will work in game, but if the same key is assigned in DCS, they will work together... Also you have nothing to do with the Track IR control column in DCS, Freetrack operate independently.
  11. Hi, What a shame if a P51 cannot escort, but what are you escorting? I think ED should take look to the Task menu, I'm personally requesting a Training Task, it would tidy up my loadout editor.
  12. I think I've found a new game to play :D How the hell did I miss it?!
  13. Hi all, I've a really simple wish, maybe it looks useless and not important but I'm sure it's easily achievable (yes it is:D). I'd like a Training Task in the ME for each aircraft (I'm standing for the A10) to allow the player to tidy up the loadout editor. It's a real mess in my loadout editor since I've tons and tons of presets for all my training missions. :smartass: I think it's worth a special task, does it?:music_whistling: Thanks!! PS : I'm pretty sure it could be done by ourself but personally I'm too lazy to :book:
  14. Thx for the info about Assetto Corsa, it looks great, I've never heard about that before, I'll keep an eye on it. Btw I'm testing the beta of Raceroom Experience, I really like the physics of the cars, and they've implemented the BMW 134 Judd V8 which really nice and my favorite, but the sound has to be tweaked a bit.
  15. I'm glad it works fine now. Same advice than Aries about these 2 controls. In your profile, don't forget to set the smoothness up for each movement, the zoom smoothing multiplier around 100 and the Average around 20% in advanced, I think that's some good settings to start with something "smooth". AFAIK, there's no trick for your error, I've been able to use a profile from a guy using a PS3Eye, but finally my profile was so much better, do it in game, it differs from one player to the other... Just find the setting with the one you feel comfortable.
  16. Hi, TBH, I think YES, but what's your screen size? If you can overclock your CPU (it's not a bad one) to 2.5Ghz at least, you could get enough to go up in the settings maybe, but your GPU is really low range so... then you should change it. (if you can) If you don't really care about the graphics, it should run on low settings. But as Viper said, try World and see. It's difficult to judge at distance with only few specs (which I don't really know the possibilities). Give a try, I hope you'll join this great community!!

    Ressource manager

Mais de rien :) Amuses toi bien ^^
  18. I find the PassMark benchmarks pretty WRONG. I prefer to see some reviews with in game tests, or benchmarks results with 3D Mark or Heaven Unigine.

    Ressource manager

Bon courage lol :book: Voila voila... :smartass:
  20. How did I miss this thread?! Goddamn search engine! Anyway thx mate, I'm less ignorant about that now.
  21. I bet these guys were Americans :smartass:
  22. Hi, Someone talk about the Resource Manager in the french section. So... After some research :book: I've found some threads on it (here) but that's not detailed, and ED was working on that feature, telling "no information, WIP until FC3". FC3 is released now. :helpsmilie: What's the periodicity, speed, operating level? (units) Do we have still have to put some friendly AI on the airbase to restock? After testing I was able to contact the ground crew without friendly units but it's gonna be a lot of work to set all the base for enemy and friendly! Otherwise a blufor can rearm from a opfor base?! Seems to be an awesome feature for the MP!! So can I have some informations? I'm planning to work hard on the ME :D Thx
  23. That! That's due to the sponsoring.
  24. Only you can decide, but as general rule, the NVidia's cards are consuming more power and produce more heat but are more a bit more efficient (or not^^), AMD (my case) provides a reliable and instinctive driver software, cheaper and good stuff but sometimes they offer less efficiency for the same scale, I think. That said, you're asking a question that nobody can answer by Nvidia or AMD, everybody will defend its own opinion, both brands are offering different and nice GPU's, there's no bad or good brand, if you want to hit the "very high end", glance to NVidia, if you want sometimes "mid range", look for some test reviews between AMD and NVidia cards, to see the ingame performances, and see what card is better for your games, it's really helpful. Keep the CPU importance in mind as well.
