Hi, I've never been faced to that problem, but I'll make an other install of DCS to test a plugin. Will the two separate copy co-exist? Yes. You just have to change the folder name at the installation to avoid deleting your current install. Do I need to stash the 104th's copy in a separate directory? Lead your install to the Eagles Dynamics and then create a folder called DCS_modded for example, beside your current DCS World install. Will they both update automatically? Yes cause you will have 2 folders in your start menu, on named DCS World and the other DCS_modded, so you will the auto update feature for each install, separately... Hope this helps...

Autrement bonne nouvelle dans le changelog de la 1.2.3, comme l'a dit psycho • Fixed client crash in MP. Cela devrait (j'espère) résoudre pas mal de crashs. Yes the shapes and the HOTAS disposal are really similar with the Viper, but that's only esthetic, the competuring, instruments are totally differents of course. The close-coupled canard help so much to increase the manoeuvrability (especially at low speed), the Mirage 2000 was less impressive at airshows because of that.

Do you mean buying Lock On Flamings Cliffs 2 instead? If so, yes there will be less stress on the GPU since there's no AA filters, HDR, TSAA.

Salut, Quels types de crashs exactement? Retour au bureau? Connection Interrupted? Est ce que tu as essayé en LAN? Il paraît que c'est une solution stable le temps que ED travaille sur les différents problèmes du MP. Après il faut pas se tromper quand tu configures tes ports et ton adresse IP, surtout si tu utilise un routeur. Perso, j'ai un peu laisser le multi de côté depuis la 1.2.1, c'était une cata, impossible de jouer plus d'une heure sans connexion interrompue ou CTD. :thumbdown:

Yeah lol, I'm still wondering how the ejection seat can go off without jamming the legs in the front console XD. The seat is leaning to 29°, maybe it helps, but the primary purpose is the comfort in a high G turn.

Ok I got it EtherealN since I can't use the Turboboost with my CPU, I always forget it lol. Well anyway, the CPU isn't the worst part for him.

Hi, I've an Intel Core i3 2100 version, I'd say for 110$, I have the result that I was expecting from it and even more! I play DCS on med/high settings (water low and visibility to med, trees 6000 (no shadows), TSAA disabled) and I have 40-45 FPS average, I never drop under 20 FPS when flying low over a town, also, I play on a 19" wide screen... It can overrun (I saw that in a serious review) some core i5 and the Phenom 955 X4(not oc) at stock settings.:music_whistling: Now if you feel lazy to read, jump this paragraph. However I don't recommend this CPU for someone planning to use a lot of multithreaded softwares (3dsmax, video editing blabla...). I'm enconding my vids with Hanbrake and even with the HT enabled, it's a bit slow, well not dramatic. But if you almost only play games, it's worth it. The 2100 doesn't have too much possibility to oc, I got it at 3.25Ghz instead of 3.1 with increasing the bus speed Wahoo!! lol (not your case anyway). I'm pretty sure I could increase it to 3.3Ghz (I feel lucky:laugh:) but it doesn't worth it so. That said the stock settings are well enough, that's just optimization. When I run the sim, there's only the sim (high priority), Freetrack, timer resolution and all the others useless background tasks are killed. I recommend to disable the Hyperthreading to play, personally I leave the power saving features, I just set the power on high performances in Windows to play, I'm a Greenpeace guy you know :protest: (kidding) :D Too be short, your i3 will run the game pretty nicely, don't worry!!:thumbup: PS : about the difficulty of the game : if you want to achieve something, you will... :book: otherwise there's different settings i.e game or simulation.

Hi Bucic, What did you put in the /bin folder? If it crashes it could be caused by a wrong/missing dll

Don't tease me with a DCS : Rafale ^^, for carrier, it would be the M version then. The HOTAS is similar with the F16 one, but with more controls on the throttle, also I really like those touch screens!
